  1. Attack roll to Snare. Using Power Attack. Reflex save DC 20 if successful. (1d20+7=17)
  2. Touchness save DC 18 (1d20+10=21)
  3. GM Post The frightened, barefoot escort began to backpedal when Orela approached. As calm and reassuring as she hoped to present herself, Orela appeared a frightful sight. The blood from her wounds ran down the length of her neck and chest, soaking her FORCE Ops shirt. "N-no, stay back! Don't kill me!" cried the escort as she fell back onto the sand, crawling backwards to gain distance. The Pugilist heard the sound of a lifeless body hitting the sand behind her. Before she could react to either the escorts plea for mercy or whatever it was that made the noise near the pier, Razorwing leaped from his shadowy perch on the pier and slams his feet into Orela's back, sending her unconscious form sprawling into the frigid waters of the Atlantic...
  4. Attack roll. Using Power Attack. Using Sneak Attack. Charging. (1d20+8=13) HITS! a Flat-Footed Pugilist.
  5. GM POST Suzaku found himself in what appeared to be the manager's office of the establishment. A small desk with a shutdown computer on a desk with a clutter of papers laying on it, a closed safe sat next to the desk on the floor, and a filing cabinet was set on the opposite wall from the safe. Next to the filing was a fuse box, which could be put to good use. While he examined the room, Suzaku could hear muffled voices coming from down the hall. He could make out the Cantonese, but the Mandarin and Taiwanese was lost on him, though he could piece together the conversation.
  6. Alright. you're currently in the manager's office now. stuff like a desk, the safe, a filing cabinet, etc. the voices are coming from down the hallway that leads into the main area of the store where the book shelves are into the "stock room" which is easily the size of the main area. homing in on the voices was a Reaction. there is a fuse box in the room you are currently in, which you could use a Full action to diffuse, however it is worth noting that with Suzaku's Speed he could easily cover the distance to the meeting room with a Move and have a Standard left. it's up to you.
  7. GM POST The noise that came from the vampire was unsettling, to say the least. It was a combination of primal fear and mad cackling, as though he was scared to death to laugh, or perhaps so jovial he couldn't produce human sounding noise. "We.. we aint like the fancy-pants euro-trash vamps you," he choked on his own spittle trying to bark out the sentence, "like you see in the movies." Orela found something uncomfortable about the way he said "we". "It's caused by the bite... not draining someone to death!" He howled wildly, all reason seeming to leave him as he delivered the news to the Pugilist. "Welcome to the family, sweetheart!"
  8. Opposed Intimidate check (-4 penalty, +2 bonus included) (1d20+6=25) FAIL!
  9. The inside of the book store is almost completely dark, hampering Suzaku's ability to navigate, although he can hear raised voices coming from ::somewhere:: The voices are speaking Cantonese, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. Although he can't unsterand all of it, Suzaku can make out that an argument about "consolidating power" is taking place.
  10. GM POST Uncle Tucker glowered at the Pugilist. If looks could kill, she'd be in some serious trouble. Angry as he may be, though, he was at Orela's mercy and resigned to his lot. "The girl, Rose, she's something me and the others've been snacking on for the last few nights," he said with visible perversion. He licked his lips and continued. "Nate's just a punk kid we use as lookout, but he got soft on us when the runaway showed up." He smiled at Orela, something sinister shining behind his undead eyes, as if he knew something else that her threats couldn't pry from him.
  11. Opposed Intimidate check (-4 penalty included) (1d20+4=20) FAIL!
  12. Through the active infrared enhancements in his suits cowl, Razorwing spotted six armed men in the rafters. Each was waiting patiently, silently, ready for an ambush. Thanks in part to the young hero abilities, he might as well have been invisible to them as he slowly crept into the boat house undetected, clinging to the shadows like a phantom. Finding a suitable place to launch his attack below one of the men with a rifle in his hand, Razorwing launched a handful of stylized shuriken upwards, peppering the gunman with a hail of piercing metal, and the man plummeted from his perch in the rafters.
  13. his Defense is 22, so that third guy hit. What's the Save DC?
  14. Initiative check (1d20+12=25) Attack roll. Using Power Attack. Using Sneak Attack 4. Attack is Autofire and Subtle. Toughness save DC 26 (1d20+6=15) Sniping (-20 penalty included) (1d20=6)
  15. Razorwing nodded silently in affirmation and became one with the shadows. Due to his ninja training, he was able to cover the distance to the boat house stealthily faster than the average person could walk. Taking up position next to the open door, he crouched and peered into the building, wary of a possible ambush. What do we have here?
  16. Notice check (1d20+10=24)
  17. Stealth check (1d20+20=40)
  18. The map led to the old shipping yards of South Freedom, mostly run down now but more than enough of the docks had business. Razorwing took this time to formulate a plan, taking into consideration the assistance Silhouette could offer. The pair pulled into the docks and Razorwing found an out-of-the-way place to stash the bike, far enough away that it wouldn't bring attention to itself but close enough that it was there if they needed to make a quick getaway. Wow, really? It took less than five minutes to get here and she's all wobbly? "You want me to check it out while you get right?" he asked his companion.
  19. See, I was under the impression that the Feat worked differant than a distraction. You could Bluff and say "Look behind you!", but you still need to be within (Stealth ranks) feet of cover or concealment to actually make the check. With Hide In Plain Sight, I read it as "Just roll the dice". Using me example in the first post, you couldn't Bluff the NPC because there is no cover to hide behind, where with the Feat you could just stand in the dead center of the room and roll for Stealth.
  20. Intelligence check for Master Plan (1d20+4=15)
  21. Totally agree with everything you just said, Supercape. My PC's character concept, who has the Feat, is "super ninja" (among other things) and I still call foul on Hide In Plain Sight. What say the rest if you, FCPBP community?
  22. hey, it's you-know-who again. I have comments/questions regarding the aforementioned Feat, and I'd like to hear what some of your thoughts are. OK, so the book says you don't need cover or concealment to use the Stealth skill if you possess the Feat... isn't that sort of overpowered for a single Power Point? If you'd buy that as a Concealment Power, you'd be paying considerably more. And what/how do you go about describing the effects of the Feat in-game? See? That's silly, isn't it? What's your take on it all?
  23. Razorwing had heard that a new Midnight had made his debut since his own departure and return, though he'd never met the man himself. If Silhouette had run into him, then it would seem that the new hero wasn't unapproachable, and his thoughts wandered for a moment. Oh, what a pair they would make if they were to ever meet. Make that 'trio', he thought quietly as he looked at Silhouette. She had proven her ability at the warehouse and she obviously had a good grasp on information gathering techniques. He swung his foot over the Razorcycle and kick-started the motorcycle to life, the powerful engine surprisingly silent. He twisted the throttle twice to get the bike warmed up and shifted into first gear. Looking at the petite heroine he revved the engine one more time before speaking. "Ready when you are."
  24. Knowledge (streeteise) check for Midnight's Reputation Chart (1d20+8=25)
  25. If she's savvy on mechanics and engines, she'd know that the bike isn't a mass produced model, and the engine and exhaust system look optimized to dampen sound and emissions. It also doesn't have rear view mirrors. Click here and scroll down to his equipment sections. if you click where it says RAZORCYCLE you will see a pic of it
