1. OK, Initiative order is: Wander Pax Cobalt Templar Robot Horde
2. GM POST The skeletal robot's attack hadn't pahsed Pax in the least. The robot's combat-processor assessed the situation and relayed the information to it's counterparts. PRIORITY.REALLOCATION.TERMINATE.ORGANIC. In unison, the robotic horde turned around to face Pax, eyes blazing red. They brought their weapons to bear, ready to unleash a barrage of energy blasts at the new comer.
3. So Cannonade had heard of him. Good. They seemed to be mutual fans, and that always lent well to a team-up. "Not sure. Probably no one, to be honest," he said in a low, harsh tone. "The rest of them normally deal with 'the big stuff': alien invasions, cosmic death rays, that sort of thing. They don't look into this sort of thing until it's already out of hand." He looked over at his companion once more before continuing. "Nice to know someone else has their feet on the ground." He decided not to comment on the fact that an anti-racist skinhead superhero wore red, white, and black, but that'd be for another time.
4. Almost forgot. Nightmare check. 11 or better succeeds. (1d20=1) FAIL!
5. Hearing the sound of boots landing on asphalt, Razorwing turned his attention from the gathering and sized up his guest. "You must be Cannonade. I figured you show sooner or later," he remarked as he tossed the binoculars to the towering hero.
6. Gather Information check on Cannonade. (1d20+10=30)
7. "You're good," Razorwing uttered through gritted teeth as he broke Suzaku's hold and rolled to his feet to the opposite corner of the room, "but not as good as you think!" With that, Razorwing rushed forward with his arms trailing behind him and performed a reverse cartwheel kick to the Vermillion Bird's chin.
8. Melee Attack roll. Charge. Toughness save DC 18. (1d20+13=26) HIT!
9. Pax = Initiative check. (1d20+1=20) Robot Horde = Initiative check. (1d20-1=17)
10. The streets had been buzzing with talk of a fascist movement gaining a foothold in Freedom, and Razorwing wasn't about to let that happen. It only took a few nights of legwork to uncover the time and place of the next rally, and the young vigilante had set up surveillance just across the way from the garage in the shadows of a building where the meeting, if you could call it that, was taking place. Are they listening to Skrewdriver? He scanned the inside of the garage with a pair of binoculars. He recognized some of the faces, but the ones he didn't recognize didn't seem like anything special. Just a bunch of hate mongers and drunks, no one that seemed like a sinister mastermind behind a fascist uprising. "Come on, you bastard. Show your face," he said out loud to himself, unaware that another hero of Freedom was nesting on the roof above him.
11. Pax got a better view of what's going on when he set foot on the street behind the metal men. They marched in two rows, three robots long, and the second robot of each row had just stepped over the wreckage of the double doors when the new hero spoke. "You're breaking the law, ya know!" he shouted to the backs of the assembled machines, hoping to sound confident. The rear guard of the left column turned to regard Pax. It lifted it's left arm, which ended in a rounded cannon instead of a hand, and unleashed a beam of blue-white energy. The energy stream hit Pax square in the chest, though the attack didn't penetrate the young man's unseen cosmic aura. "Ya, ok. We can do it the hard way, if ya want!" Unknown to either Pax or the robotic horde, the attack was witnessed by a pair of heroes on patrol.
12. Ranged Attack roll. Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+5=21) HIT! Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+10=28) Success!
13. November 2, 8:00 PM; Hanover Second National Bank All seemed quiet on the streets of North Freedom. Most businesses had closed hours ago, and the few that had remained open after sunset were beginning to lock their doors and count their registers. Pax flew high overhead, relishing the crisp night air upon his face as he made a quick circuit of Freedom City. It was like nothing he had ever seen, and so very far removed from the landscape of his native Hawaii. Man, this is awesome! His quiet contemplation of the cities wonder's were interrupted by a loud crash below. Halting his flight, he looked down upon the streets and saw the source of the commotion: half a dozen humanoid robots had crashed through the double doors of Hanover Second National! Uhh, I didn't see them a second ago... weird. Pax felt something uneasy in the pit of his stomach, something he hadn't felt since his mother took him rock-diving for the first time. He was nervous, maybe even a little scared. Never-the-less, he descended upon the crowd of robots ready for anything.
14. November 2, 9:00pm; right off O'Donnell Street Loud, violent music rang through the evening air. A group of shaved-down hooligans gathered about a bonfire built inside the run down remains of an old garage, adequately sized to hold the twenty-plus party animals, their girlfriends, and the much coveted keg of PBR. Although individual conversations were hard to distinguish, the theme of each was undeniable. Hate rhetoric flew from every mouth, as did a call to arms against the so called "mongrel races". Normally, these misguided fools were just full of hot air, but tonight was different. A new player had arrived on the fascist scene of Freedom City, and he had been using his charisma to rally foot soldiers to his cause. This was the third such recruitment drive in as many weeks, but if two of Freedom City's heroes had there way, it would be the last.

17. Razorwing unleashed his foe from the grappling line when he saw a lone gunman make a break for the docks, and was rewarded with the sound of a body slamming into the ground. Guess I have time for one more... Another hail of shuriken flew silently through the air, imbedding themselves in the man's back while Razorwing ran towards the doors he came in through to see what was going on outside. For her sake, I hope Silhouette didn't think I wouldn't mind her taking my bike!
18. Ranged Attack roll. Toughness save DC 16. (1d20+11=15) Also, they're Subtle. Notice check DC 15 or he's flat-footed and the Toughness save is increased to DC 21 (sneak attack 4)

He has a number of scars across his body, silent reminders of his time spent as Ronin's apprentice. His normal attire consists of BDU pants and combat boots accompanied by heavy metal t-shirts and a well-worn black military cap. As a note of interest, Kristian and the dimensionally-displaced teen hero known as Elite share a strikingly similar appearance, so much so that a casual observer could mistake them for twin brothers. History: Some time during the 1970's, two extremely gifted teenagers thought to take up the war on crime. This dynamic duo, Cardinal (James Gerber) and Blackbird (Cynthia Schwartz), battled against the seedy underbelly of New York City for years at the side of the dark avenger Raven, eventually falling in love with one another. When the Moore Act was passed in the 1980's, James chose to leave New York to help the few remaining heroes of Freedom City battle against the scum and villainy that plagued the once proud city while Cynthia stayed in New York to finish college. Dropping his happy-go-lucky demeanor and his flamboyant costume, James crafted a new identity for himself; one more suited to the social, economic, and anti-heroic theme of the day. Based upon a myth from the fabled lands of Shangri-La, the vigilante Razorwing cut a swathe of justice through Freedom City. As an on-again, off-again member of the group FORCE Ops, James Gerber found himself falling deeply into the darkest places of his soul and questioning the terrible things he was doing in the name of justice. Unable to handle the pressure anymore, James hung up his costume and returned to New York City a broken man. If it weren't for the love and support of his former friend and confidant Cynthia, now a criminal psychologist, he would have remained a husk of the man he once was. After renewing their friendship the two became romantic once more, married, and moved out to Freedom City when Mayor Moore was exposed for the crook he really was. Soon Cynthia Schwartz-Gerber was with child, and she gave birth to her son during the "Storm of the Century" in 1993. When the city was attacked by an unknown alien force, James did not hesitate to don the guise of Razorwing one last time to aid his fellow heroes in pushing back the extra-dimensional legions at Omega's command, and he gave his life so that so many others may live. In the aftermath of the Terminus Invasion, Cynthia became very sick. After years of battling a rare form of leukemia, she succumbed to her illness when her son was nearly six years old. Kristian became a dark and brooding introvert, bouncing from foster home to foster home and prone to violent outbursts. On the evening before his tenth birthday he was startled out of bed by a powerful hand gripping his mouth and a cold, emotionless voice whispering from the darkness of the room, "I knew your old man, and his son deserves better than this." The next six and a half years of his life were filled with physical and mental conditioning, combat drills, obedience training, and survival tests all administered by a single figure clad in full body armor known to him only as "Ronin". With his brutal yet thorough training nearly complete, Ronin gifted the young man with a suit of combat armor resembling his father's costume, a grapple gun, utility belt, and a custom motorcycle to aid him in his final test: infiltrate the Labyrinth and recover any data detailing the past of the mercenary group known as Nemesis. To this end, Ronin used his connections to have the boy placed in Ev Prep, the front for the nefarious training camp known as the Shadow Academy. Shortly after his arrival Razorwing set forth to complete his mission under the cover of night. Finding an entrance to a high-tech laboratory deep beneath the grounds of Ev Prep, Razorwing successfully retrieved the data he was sent to obtain, though not without tripping an alarm. Narrowly avoiding an all-out confrontation with the students and faculty of the Shadow Academy, he delivered his package at the drop-off point, only to be ambushed by Ronin! The mercenary took the data disc and left the beaten and battered Razorwing with one final message before he departed: "Sorry kid, no loose ends." Cast out by his former mentor, he was all alone in a world he hardly understood. Personality & Motivation: Many would describe Kristian Gerber as a violent sociopath. His life before Ronin's tutelage was lacking in the qualities that led to the healthy psychological development of a child, and his intense training at the hands of a merciless gun-for-hire did nothing to amend that. He had always thought of himself as a weapon forged to do battle at the whims of the highest bidder, but now he feels he has a new purpose. Razorwing has decided to use his skills and fighting abilities to combat the injustices of the world that he himself had once committed. Powers & Tactics: Razorwing is a skilled acrobat, detective, martial artist, and technical prodigy. He uses his utility belt's array of weaponry and grapple gun to full advantage to even the playing field against his adversaries before going in close for the finish. His armored jumpsuit possesses a set of retractable glider wings that allow for aerial mobility and the mask houses an advanced communication suite and night vision capabilities. The grapple gun is a prototype that was mothballed due to an unpractical cost and lack of demand, researched and developed by ASTRO Labs. His subterranean headquarters, a forgotten fallout shelter from the days of the Red Scare refitted to his personal taste and needs, is located a few miles southwest of the municipal landfill. At the request of the Seven Shadows' Path ninja clan, whom Kristian studied under when Ronin taught him the secret arts of ninjutsu, he allowed himself to become host a for a "spiritual egg" of the Tachisukumu no Kageryu, Kamisorihane (Shadow Dragon of Fear, Razorwing), after besting the mythological beast in spiritual combat. It is prophesied that a grand tournament will be held between champions of the Kageryu and other pseudo-deities for control of Shangri-La, and only those born of the material world who share a mystical bond with one of these powerful beings may compete. Complications: Enemies: Although Ronin is easily Razorwing's most powerful enemy, his rogue's gallery includes the Shadow Academy and a rogue faction of the Seven Shadows' Path ninja clan that believe he is unworthy of the honor placed upon him. Reputation: Razorwing's tactics and philosophy on fighting are simple: put them down, hard and fast. This, coupled with his penchant for violence, has earned him a reputation as a vigilante. Secret: Although it isn't widely know, Razorwing was once the apprentice of one of the most feared assassins and mercenaries in the world, Ronin. Temper: Razorwing's temper often gets the better of him, causing him to lose control when provoked or humiliated.
