  1. These goons can't make that so it's a success.
  2. Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+10=27) SUCCESS!
  3. GM POST Cobalt Templar and Pax laid into the machine, but even their combined might couldn't destroy it, but it looked really messed up. The remaining robots congregated on the sidewalk outside of the bank in a diamond formation, two firing upon Cobalt Templar and two aiming at Pax, and each pair hitting their mark!. Wander heard a {{POP}} of displaced air behind her, but wasn't fast enough to react to the savage blow delivered by the massive wardroid that teleported in behind her.
  4. Toughness save DC 22. (1d20+8=13) Stunned, Bruised -3, Injured -3. Ranged Attack roll. Combined Attack. (1d20+5=6, 1d20+5=20) HITS! Toughness save DC 25 for Cobalt Templar. Ranged Attack roll. Combined Attack. (1d20+5=24, 1d20+5=12) HITS! Toughness save DC 25 for Pax. Melee Attack roll. Toughness save DC 28. (1d20+11=26) HITS! Toughness save DC 28 for Wander.
  5. GM POST Calliope didn't have to wait long before she spotted a black four door sedan pull into the parking lot of Dominico's. Two large, obviously Italian men in nice black suits exited the vehicle. One lit a cigarette as the other peered in through the plate glass window of the pizzeria, then shrugged back to his accomplice and pulled out his own cigarette. No doubt they were going to wait for the crowd to thin out inside before going in.
  6. Pax was beside himself. He didn't even think he'd see any action on his first night out, let alone fight side by side with other superheroes. A flying blue knight that seemed to summon weapons out of nowhere and a pale girl clad in blue and gold. "Good looking out," he shouted to the pair, "but I can pull my own weight. I just got caught up in the moment, ya know?" He pressed his fist into his open hand and cracked his knuckles, eyeballing the robot that he had punched earlier to no avail. He wasn't going to let this scrap heap look like a fool, especially in front of his companions. He willed his cosmic aura to surge and flew towards the robot and struck it in the chest plate. There was visible damage, but still the construct failed to fall. Whoa, this chick must be an Amazon or something, dropping these things the way she is...
  7. Melee Attack roll. Charge. Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+6=20) HIT! Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+9=19) Stunned, Bruised -2, Injured -2
  8. Toughness save DC 34 (1d20+10=25) Stunned, Bruised, Injured
  9. Yeah, nice try, dude. Releasing himself from the concealment of the shadows, Razorwing raced forward towards the truck, his torso almost horizontal with the ground and his arms flung behind him. The Seven Shadows' Path had taught him this useful trick, and coupled with his superior physical training, the dark figure easily covered the distance. Coming upon the goon who thought to make good his escape, he brought his arms in and bumrushed the man.
  10. Move action (Speed 1 [100 feet]) and a Charge. Melee Attack roll. Charge. Toughness save DC 18. (1d20+13=21)
  11. GM Post The skeletal robots stood motionless for a moment, assessing the situation. One of their numbers had been destroyed and another damaged by a new opponent. A silent communication was passed between them and a battle plan was formed. Four of the robots broke off into pairs, each duofiring their arm mounted blaster cannons at Wander and Cobalt Templar, with the remaining robot aiming at the tan hero in blue and yellow. Wander wasn't able to dodge the concentrated fire, but it didn't matter. Her enhanced physiology was able to withstand the kinetic blast. Meanwhile, Cobalt Templar easily maneuvered away from the blue-white blasts, and they traveled harmlessly into the night sky. Pax, however, was not so lucky. In awe at Wander's display of raw, physical prowess and Cobalt Templar's neo-archaic armor and materialized blaster rifle, he barely had time to register the remaining robot's cannon aimed directly at his chest. His eyes went wide as the barrel began to glow, followed by a stream of kinetic force!
  12. Novermber 5, 10:30PM; outside of Dominico's Pizzeria Dominico's was a favorite spot for locals looking for a quick slice, tourists too broke from their time spent on the boardwalk to pay for a sit down meal, and extortionists looking for a quick pay day. Tonight, a crowd of teenagers had gathered to share a pie and talk about plans for winter break. Calliope had heard that the Tartaglione Family had a strangehold on the Boardwalk extortion racket, and thanks to the efforts of some of Freedom City's heroes, they had taken a blow to their organization. Hoping to make up their losses quickly, they've slowly migrated to areas of Southside, and word on the street was that tonight they were going to hit up Dominico's.
  13. Ranged attack roll at Wander. Combined Attack.(1d20+5=7, 1d20+5=24) HIT! but her Impervious 13 deflects the measly +10 damage. Ranged Attack roll at Cobalt Templar. Combined Attack.(1d20+5=13, 1d20+5=6) MISS! Ranged Attack roll at Pax. Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+10=22) Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+10=14) Stunned, Staggered... ah, crap! EDIT:: Huzzah! Forgot Wander had an Interpose action waiting. Electra, you may proceed =]
  14. Razorwing was thankful that the gunmen decided to scatter like roaches, though he'd much rather have taken each and every one of them down. The drugs would have to wait for now. Using the commotion to conceal his presence, the young vigilante crept towards the open doors he came through and peered out, looking for any signs of danger.
  15. Stealth check. Hide in Plain Sight. (1d20+20=24)
  16. Toughness save DC 22. (1d20+10=15) Stunned, Bruised, Injured.
  17. Toughness save DC 30. -2 penalty applied. (1d20+8=27) Bruised -3. EDIT: after looking back on the OOC, Razorwing is actually Bruised -4 =[
  18. well, Colt and JoAB are welcome to it, if they choose. Which is good, because I felt I had a lot for my man to say before dismissing himself from the group (though he still considers himself a reserve member). Hopefully this will clear up any intentions and hostilities the group may or may not feel for him, even though he deserves it =p
  19. Looking at the wreckage of the robotic humanoid with wide eyes, Pax exclaimed, "Thanks for the assist, ya know!" Taking a cue from his new companion, Pax leaped the distance towards the closest robot and laid into with a superman punch, but his awesome strength had no effect on the construct other than to rock it's head to the side. It turned it's gaze back upon the new hero, red eyes blazing in the night. Uh-oh...
  20. Melee Attack roll. Charge. Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+6=15) HIT! Toughness save DC 25. (1d20+10=25) SUCCESS!
  21. GM POST The metal monstrosity was decapitated by the force of Wander's drill kick, dropping to a heap before Wander finished her aerial flip to land next to Pax. Witnessing a loss to their squad, the remaining robot's turned their arm cannon's towards Wander, a shrill buzzing and blue-white glow preceding their attack!
  22. wow! let me roll for that. Toughness save DC 36. (1d20+10=12) DESTROYED!
  23. She had to do this, didn't she? She had to make this harder than it had to be. Kris turned around to look down the hallway, seeing both Billy and Lynn's faces masked in hurt and disapproval. What else could he say? Tell them the truth, or just let them believe he was the monster his reputation burdened him with? "No, don't you put this on me!" he declared, dropping his duffel and walking back towards the kitchen area. "Don't you dare put this on me!" He realized he was shaking with anger, at what he couldn't really say. Was it because his intentions were misread by his former teammates, or was it because deep down, he knew he was in the wrong and he was taking the easy way out?
