  1. :D I like your enthusiasm. The Wreck Room is the training facility for Freedom Leaguers, but there's no reason why villains can't get together and train somewhere else. Let me put something together for the villains too. In the meantime, I suggest you PM some of the other villains in the Character Bank and start putting together a story. Remember, you don't need to join a "campaign" (mine or anyone else's) to play this game. Any player can start any threads they want. That's the beauty of this game. Player initiative is going to be the key to this game's success.

  4. In a continued effort to spark opportunities to play for approved characters, I give you . . . The Wreck Room. (Click to see full image.)) Deep in the sub-basements of Freedom Headquarters lies "The Wreck Room." It's 22,000 (110 wide x 200 long x 100 high) square feet of ultra high-tech, butt-kicking goodness. In the Wreck Room you can duke it out with your fellow Freedom Leaguers, fight solo against any number of the Wreck Room's pre-programed opponents, or join with your teammates to train together. Of course, you don't need to join this "campaign" to fight it out with other players, and you don't need to be a Freedom Leaguer to train or bash heads. Any player can start any thread to fight with other heroes and/or villains. That's what this whole game is about, and there are a number of Refs standing by to help with such things. I just thought I'd make a formal invitation to begin the carnage. So, let's get this started with two Freedom Leaguers (of the same PL) and a little friendly competition. Who's up?

    Avatars

I thought it would be a fun idea to start an avatar thread, so players could tell the story behind their avatars. *** My normal avatar is Julie Power from Power Pack, but I thought that since Halloween is on the horizon, something just a little more creepy would be in order. So I give you: 00.03 - The Rumor, from Umbrella Academy. :D

  13. This is the OOC thread for both the heroes and the villains. We are still waiting on a few to be approved, so be patient for another day or so. Villains: You need a plan. Perhaps you and your evil partner should discuss your plans. You can enter the map however you like, but I suggest either using the open sewer (on the left side of the map) or one of the rooftops. But it's up to you. GM Notes: Ver-man: 0 HPs Pincers: 3 Bruises and 3Injuries ______________________ Heroes: Same goes for you. Will you attack from the water? From the roof? Both? Perhaps you should meet up (IC) off the map and discuss your plan. Let me know if you need anything else.

  16. Across town at the docks, another set of criminals were also being watched, but this time by the eyes of justice. Swarthy and well-armed thugs had docked their boat by a waterfront warehouse, and had begun unloading merchandise of some kind, taking it into the dark building. This was no doubt the latest shipment of "Zero," a new designer drug that had been plaguing Freedom City. This was the chance to stop these drug peddlers before this poison hit the streets again. These were dangerous men. Caution would be needed. (Click to see the whole map.)

  19. "I've got a bad feelin' about this." "Shut up and load tha' truck, you mook! Big Al ain't gonna wait all night for his merchandise." It was just before midnight when "Big Al" Driogano's men--2 men and a woman actually--pulled up in front of the warehouse with their "make-shift" armored car. They were there to collect some cash . . .okay, lots of cash . . . to take it down to the docks as payment for . . . merchandise. The three street thugs never entered the building. Instead a rather fat Greek man began brining the sacks of small bills to the door. Two of "Big Al's" men loaded the truck while the third kept watch. They were all well armed. Very soon all that loot would be free from the building that was no doubt loaded with armed men and would be on the truck . . . only guarded by those three thugs. It was a tremendous opportunity for someone with cunning and stealth. "I swear we're being watched! I gotta bad feelin'!" "Shut up!" It was the woman who barked at him this time. "I'm watchin' yer back. The sooner you get the truck loaded, the sooner we're outta here!" It was an astute observation . . . they were being watched, by eyes full of greed and malice. (Click to see the whole map.)

  22. Beard should be back to approving characters today, so you should be all set. I'm going to create the threads, so that the approved characters can start posting. [Edit] Threads are up: We are in The Fens. You can find all the threads there.
