Velocity was not too happy that she had been spotted, but she just smiled slightly at the thought of them trying to outrun her. Good luck with that. She thought. But, she still needed them to lead her to wherever they were going. Wish I had some handy dandy tacking device. Another idea came to her as she let the van start pulling away from her as they crossed the bridge. She let it pull ahead a good bit, and when it moved around a car and its line of sight with her was blocked, she accelerated to full speed. Running up along the lane furthest from it, she sped across the bridge and about three blocks ahead, stopping to turn back and see where the van went, ducking out of the way if it went straight across the bridge.

Fighting back the impulse to just run into the middle of the scene, Velocity instead stopped a short distance away, watching for the van to leave so she could follow it and see if she might not be able to learn more about what was going on.

Once changed and her backpack stuffed in an inconspicuous place, Velocity was off once more, speeding out of the bathroom and back towards where the incident was taking place. Moving at near the speed of sound, she ran up along the walls as she rushed into the room, zipping around the exterior and then back up to the side of the stage. Moving up, she stopped by the machines in the back and came to a halt. “You know, for supposed betters, you dweebs are just a bunch of common thieves.†She said out loud. “How about you just give this dumb idea up before you get in real trouble.â€Â

Hey, cool idea Shadow The only thing I might see is that if Nightrival is planning for this to be a more "street-level" group (as VM mentioned), Velocity really wouldn't fit in.
