Thevshi
The OOC for this thread. Because we are at the point where we will need it :) Link to comment
Thevshi
We should probably get to initiatives at this point :) Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
YB's Initiative 1d20+1=4, yeah I know she's not built for speed. Link to comment
Thevshi
Ouch, well, it was always a given who would go first. As this fight will be a bit tough, I am giving YB +1 Hero Point. Round One: Velocity: 63 (Unharmed, 2 HP) Mindfire: 21 (Unharmed) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Raditron: 14 (2 bruised) Young Britannia: 4 (Unharmed, 3 HP) Link to comment
Thevshi
Velocity will use Defensive Attack to start, dropping 2 from her attack bonus and increasing her defense bonus to +17. She is going to try to punch Mindfire. Ouch, she gets a 29, which is a critical thanks to Improved Critical 2 on her strike (making it a +18 damage attack). That means Mindfire makes a DC 33 toughness save. Wow, she gets a 31! (still a bruise though). Link to comment
Thevshi
Mindfire lashes back at Velocity with Telepathic Torture, perception ranged attack, DC 25 Will save. Velocity only gets a 18 on her Will save, so she is bruised and dazed. Bonebreaker attacks Raditron, getting a 25 on his attack roll which is a hit. Raditron’s toughness save vs DC 29 is a: 16, which is more hurt than I want him this early, so I will reroll (giving each of us a Hero Point), getting a 14 +10 (for reroll) so 24. He gets another bruise and is also dazed. So with Raditron dazed, YB is up! Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Plonk down a Dazzle on the general area, it's selective so Velocity will be fine everyone else needs to make a DC 14 Reflex roll. Link to comment
Thevshi
Dazzle saves: Bonebreaker: 17 Raditron: 23 Mindfire: 24 Darn, they all made it. So, Round Two: Velocity: 63 (bruised, 3 2 HP) Mindfire: 21 (2 bruised and dazed (see below)) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Raditron: 14 (3 bruised and dazed) Young Britannia: 4 (Unharmed, 4 HP) Velocity will use the hero point she just picked up and shake off her daze so she can act. This time the speedster will use Power Attack for -2 atk, +2 dam, and Defensive Attack -1 atk, +1 def (making Defense +16). She goes after Mindfire again, 28, again a critical with a natural 18! This time, it’s a DC 35 toughness save. Mindfire does okay with a 26, which means she picks up another bruise and is dazed. Velocity gets 9 for knockback, which is 500 feet! (she will probably hit a wall before going that far though), we'll say the wall has toughness 7, so Mindfire's impervious forcefield soaks all that for her, and the wall is damaged, but holds. Thevshi
Bonebreaker will go after Velocity now: not even close with a 15. Raditron gets up and unleashes a cone area attack that can possibly hit both Bonebreaker and Velocity. Velocity’s reflex save: Wow, she just misses with a 19, but thanks to Evasion 2, it is only half effect. Bonebraker gets a 21, so he makes his reflex save, and his Impervious stops the halved damage. Velocity’s toughness save vs DC 20, a 16, so she has another bruise. Link to comment
Thevshi
So we are back to Young Britannia :) Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
k, let's start with a bolt of light at Radioactive boy 1d20+8=17, if that hit's it'll be a DC 23 Toughness Link to comment
Thevshi
That will just hit (with a slight situational bonus as all the villains are pretty much not focusing on YB at the moment). He gets a 12 on his toughness roll. So he is Staggered and dazed. No knockback, so he stays up on his feet. So, Round Three: Velocity: 63 (2 bruised, 2 HP) Mindfire: 21 (2 bruised) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Raditron: 14 (3 bruised, Staggered, Dazed) Young Britannia: 4 (Unharmed, 4 HP) Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, Velocity is going to go after Mindfire again, as she is still on the ground, that is a +4 on melee attacks against her. Velocity will Power Attack -3 atk/+3 dam and Defensive Attack -3 atk/+3 def (so thanks to the bonus, she is +11 atk, +16 dam with her strike and +18 defense) She makes another move-by attack on Mindfire: 24, so another hit. DC 31 toughness save for Mindfire, and she gets a 27, wow, she is staying in the fight, but picks up another bruise. Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, back to YB (Don't forget, you've collected a few Hero Points ) Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
I know I'm saving them for when they do finally taking an interest in hurting me. Let finish off Raditron another Blast 1d20+8=25, so another DC 23 Toughness Roll. If he's done then I'll race after the main rumble. Link to comment
Thevshi
Well, he is certainly stubborn. He gets a 17 for his toughness save, which means another bruised and he stays dazed, but still on his feet. Go ahead with an IC post battering him more. Then it is on to: Round Four: Velocity: 63 (2 bruised, 2 HP) Mindfire: 21 (3 bruised) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Raditron: 14 (4 bruised, Staggered, Dazed) Young Britannia: 4 (Unharmed, 4 HP) Link to comment
Thevshi
Velocity attacks Mindfire with Rapid Fire: She gets a 12. I’ll reroll that one, getting a much better with a 30, so Velocity gets the full benefit of autofire. So Mindfire has a DC 27 toughness save. She gets a: 18. Not quite enough to make her staggered, but another bruise and dazed again. Link to comment
Thevshi
After leaping back to the where the fight started, Bonebreaker throws a manhole cover at Velocity, missing with a 22. Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Another (hopefully final) blast on Raditron 1d20+8=22, another Toughness save for him . Link to comment
Thevshi
Raditron fails his toughness save with a 11. So, Staggered + Staggered equals KO'd! Link to comment
Thevshi
So, Round Five: Velocity: 63 (2 bruised, 1 HP) Mindfire: 21 (4 bruised) Bonebreaker: 15 (2 bruised) Raditron: 14 (4 bruised, Staggered, Dazed) Young Britannia: 4 (Unharmed, 4 HP) Another Rapid Fire attack on Mindfire, getting a 27, which is again enough to hit with full autofire. Wow, Mindfire makes her toughness save with a 29! (vs a DC 27 save) Link to comment
Thevshi
Mindfire hits Velocity with Teleknetic Torture. Velocity just makes her Fortitude Save with a 25 Young Britannia needs to try to make a DC 21 Reflex save to reduce the effects of Bonebreaker’s shockwave. If she does, she only needs a DC 21 toughness save, otherwise it will be a DC 26 toughness save. Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Reflex Save 1d20+6=15, ugh I'm going to risk the Toughness save 1d20+9=12. And this is why I was saving up all those HP, one for a reroll 1d20+9=25. Failed by just one point! Link to comment
Thevshi
Okay, so you pick up a bruise. Its now YB's action :) Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Let's try a Blast on Bonebreaker 1d20+8=17, it that hit's it the normal Toughness roll. Link to comment
