Supercape
And so Horror will attack Rene at +7 1d20+7=14 Rene has defence of only 13, so hits. Trying luck with HP reroll 1d20+7=10 phew! Link to comment
Aoiroo
Right Etain does a blast this time, 27, that's a hit DC 21. Link to comment
Supercape
ok will save again vs DC 21 (Magic remains at half power - including for the Horror) (Which Actually makes the Horror not entangles *slaps head* although it would make no difference... Ill correct annotation) 1d20+10=22 No chocolate. Link to comment
Supercape
Indeed, thanks for the poke! 10 Horror Bruised 10 Etain, Bruised, 1 HP 7 Rene, Exhausted 1 HP Horror will lash out at Rene again. 1d20+7=27 le sigh. Ok, Rene will haveto burn his last HP to reroll that crit. 1d20+7=18 is still a hit. Rene has zero toughness. 1d20=10 vs DC 25, KO. Well, he was a peripheral character.... And thats devices for you. Technically however, he does get an HP for his KO! Etain is up. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Another Area Attack(if still Available) DC 22 reflex, DC 27 toughness if he misses. Link to comment
Supercape
I think thats another HP to stunt that? if thats what you want to do - its defence is very low so area attacks aren't particularly helpful I guess. Link to comment
Supercape
Wrong forum for that roll, I think, Roo! looks like Nates doesnt spot Steam, though! As per chat, if you are dazzled enough not to use a blast (from a complication) and stunting a AoE that to me cancels out so you dont need an HP to stunt that. Back to your stream of psychic weapons! 1d20+2=21 makes reflex save. So halves the half effect psychic! DC 18 Will save. 1d20+10=14 Another bruise. 10 Horror Bruised 10 Etain, Bruised, 1 HP 7 Rene, Bruised, Staggered, Exhausted, Unconsious 1 HP Horror strikes back! 1d20+9=16 no chance. Etain up. Aoiroo
Right roll for the fifty percent with total concealment, 16, so that's a miss. Also, Etain has total concealment, so every eldrich attack needs to roll 1d2 to see if it he gets to attack roll in the first place, 1 means he does, 2, he doesn't. Link to comment
Supercape
Sorry, have let this stagnate a bit! Etain is up. As per discussions, she is no longer concealed (as its part of her array and she switched). If you want to be blind again by the beasty (and thus miss as above) have another HP. Alternatively, she can shake off the flare of magic due to the skull still partially dampening the magic. Thats up to you. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Okay, no longer blinded but she's not opening her eyes and looking at that thing again. The blinded thing is a safety measure whenever she witnesses something too powerful for her to comprehend and doesn't go insane. She's keeping her eyes closed so 1 so she's in the neighborhood of hitting it, so 29 so that's a hit, DC 27 Will Save. Link to comment
Supercape
Whilst Skull is only fractured, its still a half effect for all magic, so DC 21 sorry (works against the horror too!) On a more positive note! 1d20+10=14 Stunned and Bruised, you are up again! Link to comment
Aoiroo
2, well she can't hit because she's not looking at him, so it's his turn. Link to comment
Supercape
Horror is smashes skull completely! Gain a HP as that is GM fiat, horror is now free to move (although still entangled until next round). You are up, full magic enabled. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Nice Job Fixing It Villian, AREA ATTACK, binding area attack to be sure, DC 22 Reflex save, and if that fails, DC 22 Will. Link to comment
Supercape
Good news is that its DC 27 now! no magic inhibition! Bad news, its up to will +10, tough +15 1d20+2=3 reflex roll, forget it! 1d20+10=14 will, little better, fail by 13 is staggered and stunned! Post away Link to comment
Aoiroo
Umm, he's not staggered or stunned, he's paralyzed, so if that wasn't clear. Link to comment
Supercape
Ack sorry, yes, Paralysed. Will be making Will saves vs DC 27 to shake off then... gulp! Take it away. Link to comment
Aoiroo
He is concealed and bound, so 1, she can hit him, now if she does, well can she Coup De Grace the eldrich thing? Link to comment
Supercape
You can indeed. Automatic critical hit, DC 32 Will save. 1d20+10=12 its out In this case, you are fully justified in making that a "kill" - if a beast from beyond can even be "killed". Link to comment
Aoiroo
Etain will kill it most definitely. Link to comment
Aoiroo
Spending an HP for Etain to revitalize Rene, don't know what the power is, but it is an illusion that she's just pulling him to conciousness. Link to comment
Supercape
Rather academic at this point, but you could almost certainly stunt a healing power off that. Fuding the roll to say Rene is conscious but weak (As combat is over). Link to comment
Aoiroo
Etain's doing sedation to the dude so as to numb out any nightmares. Link to comment
