Description: Blake, now slightly more than skin and bones, looks a bit more normal than he did before. He has a slight tan, and a mild amount of muscles on his body, and turned his hair back to its normal shade with a glamour charm. He rarely bothers with a costume, but prefers to dress nicely. He wears a black trenchcoat, and a black fedora. He wears a suit underneath it, generally a white shirt with black slacks and a black tie and coat.

Blake has a headquarters situated in Freedom's Southside. To anyone else looking on, it appears to be a run-down house, decorated with yellow police tape and worn by time. However, Blake has a clever magical voice-activated security system that allows guests to enter. Inside of the building, the interior has been magically changed to accommodate Blake's needs. The interior is not unlike that of a Victorian-styled home.

Power Descriptions: (if applicable)

Blake, as Warlock, carries a number of enchanted items, which manifest themselves in obvious ways. His lightning wand throws out a huge and deafening bolt of lightning, and his shield ring manifests a blue shield around him when he is struck with ranged attacks. None of his magic is subtle.

History: After the events of Who You Gonna Call? the superhero formerly known as Kid Cthulhu was Cthulhu no more. After a painful recovery, Blake found he had lost all of his powers. He was glad the accursed powers were no longer a part of him, but he was still sad about not being able to fight crime anymore. He was determined to fight crime again, so he resolved at the end of 2010 to teach himself magic. Blake quickly realized that although he didn't have his powers, he retained a large aptitude for performing magic, and he quickly read through dozens of tomes. He utilized his creative energy to become an artificer, or a magical inventor. He used objects he had around his room and placed powerful enchantments on them. While finishing the runes on his empowered baseball bat, an idea flooded into his head. He could turn this into a business. Although not much, he had enough money from his parent's will and their art collection to buy some living space. So with that, Blake Salazar became Warlock- freelance magical detective.

Personality & Motivation:

Blake, after the accident, was determined to learn magic again. After taking the time he needed to learn the spells, he would take no rests against fighting evil. Blake is motivated to fight crime, but he also feels an obligation to protect the streets of Freedom City from supernatural threats. He is a changed man, and no longer takes life for granted.

Powers & Tactics:

Blake has a number of tricks up his sleeve due to his magical inventions, and always keeps a few spare ones in his jacket when he needs to. He is a versatile magician, and can evoke many different effects.


Girlfriend: - Blake is committed to his girlfriend, Jessica Parker, who is also the armored heroine Ironclad.

Business: - Blake runs a slightly less than official freelance supernatural investigations business. He tries to help every client he can.

Supernatural Guardian: - Following the loss of his powers and his experience with The Unspeakable One, Blake feels obligated to protect Freedom City from any supernatural threats.
