The blow from the robot really knocked Joey for a loop. Through barely focused eyes he sees the battle continue and hears Tony call out for help. Not that he can do much more but curl up, making his body a smaller target and meaning he can protect himself with the knife quicker. Then he sees Tony nearly fall into the pit. Putting down the knife(and hoping no one steals it) Joey crawls over toward the pit with agonizing pain. "I'm coming."

[Master_Pelle]

Pelle was lucky to find that concrete mixer is unlock and it seem the driver have left the key. But the only problem is that he don´t have much experienced with driving even he have seen a lot how his father driving his taxi car. He quickly open it and started to turning on the engine so that the mixer start to roll.

Let see... How do I drive it backward... He thought he tried to make it move but somehow he backing it to fast so that it crashing into the street sign.

"NEJ! TUSAN!" He screaming in swedish language as he is angry about that he messed it up.

Just as his fingers started to give out, Tony felt a pair of hands grab his wrists. The added strength helps Tony roll up and over the edge. Laying on his back with his eyes closed, Tony breathes out a sigh, "Thanks man....." He was getting too old for this stuff....he was not young anymore.

As he opened his eyes, Tony notices that it was Joey that pulled him back over the edge...glancing around, he spies that James is now facing three of the droids by himself. "#@$%#@....James roll away!" Tony shouts as he releases the Darkness within him...causing it to once again blanket the robots and by association, James. Hopefully the man could get away from the threat before they hit him....

James glances over to the sound of Tony calling out. He is about to head toward him when the other man drops the knife and goes himself. That's fine by him. They can't both go, unfortunately - the real threats are still there, and the two of them are going to need a distraction. Taking a deep breath, he steps backwards, feeling part of the pavement crumble beneath him.

James turns to look at the three large robots coming at him. Thankfully, he's close enough to the edge that none of them risk charging at him. Unfortunately, that also means that he is in a pretty precarious position as it is. His goal: don't get hit in like that robot just did. He devotes himself entirely to avoiding their blows. For the most part, he's successful. Two of the robots swing their arms and don't even end up close to him. The third, however...

James takes the blow straight in the gut, and for a second, the wind is knocked out of him. Rather than stop, though, he keeps avoiding further blows. Then everything goes black. He tries to speak once and fails, then concentrates, takes a breath, and shouts, "Remember, I can't see through this!"

He drops to the ground on all fours so that he doesn't accidentally fall in. From the sound of things, one of the robots did just that, but he certainly can't tell. Both Joey and Tony can see or feel it, though. There are two left, and they're right next to James.

[Heridfel]

James glances over to the sound of Tony calling out. He is about to head toward him when the other man drops the knife and goes himself. That's fine by him. They can't both go, unfortunately - the real threats are still there, and the two of them are going to need a distraction. Joey can feel where James is, and can feel the hole quite near to him. Perhaps more alarming, he can feel the robots nearing James. Not having a weapon, and having taken a nasty blow to the gut, there isn't much Joey can do except yell. Which is exactly what he does. "You're gonna want to move. I'd suggest crawling toward my voice. Carefully, feel your way through." Joey looks over at Tony. "Think you can clear his path, or would that move all the darkness?"

[Cyrith]

Joey can feel where James is, and can feel the hole quite near to him. Perhaps more alarming, he can feel the robots nearing James. Not having a weapon, and having taken a nasty blow to the gut, there isn't much Joey can do except yell. Which is exactly what he does. "You're gonna want to move. I'd suggest crawling toward my voice. Carefully, feel your way through." Joey looks over at Tony. "Think you can clear his path, or would that move all the darkness?"

As his Darkness descends, Tony rolls to his feet, " No....I don't think I can do that....but, I CAN do this!"

Upon stating that, Tony unleashes ANOTHER blast of Darkness, dispelling his gloom, and striking the robot.

"Oh crap. We got to help him! Try to hold them off, I need to go get the knife back." With that Joey slowly hobbles his way back to where he left the blade, glad to see it's still there. 'Oh god I hope I don't die. No one here would even know to cremate me.'

"#$#@^#...Hold On James," Tony screams in frustration.

In all of the comics he read, the REAL heroes would have showed up by now...would have come back in to saved the day and help the newly minted fledgling heroes. Then with quiet shake of their heads and a stern admonishment, they would leave the rookies to reflect upon their mistakes. BUT, that was comic books....and theis, apparetly was the real world....or as close to it as it could get.

It worked once...maybe it will work again, "James....push...push with all of your strength!"Tony begins to run at the Robot with James under his metal boot. With a scream of utter rage and frustration, Tony launches himself in the air, attempting a Flying Sidekick...a move he remembers from nearly twenty years previous, during his Tae Kwon Do classes oh so long ago...

The robot stops before it goes over the edge and turns to look at James once more. It was too dumb to realize that its weight would be enough to collapse the edge of the pit. Joey can feel it collide with one of the other robots that was slowly climbing back up the side.

The robot that Tony was going against was luckier (though not for Tony). It managed to hit him, and James winces in sympathy.

Having finally regained the knife, Joey moves toward the robot attacking Tony. Even if he couldn't defeat it, he could at least help spread the punishment around. Sailing past the robot, Tony is caught completely off guard by the Metal Man's backfist as it connects solidly with his airborne form. Attempting to roll with the massive blow, Tony's form curls around the Robot's arm. However, the impact is of greater force than he anticipated. With a loud groan, Tony is flung towards the ground into a slightly dazed form.

The thrum of the concrete mixer echoes behind them as the man finally gets it going. Liquid concrete slowly makes it way out of the back of the truck and starts to fill up the pit.

"We need to get him away from Tony," James says. "Before I pass out, too." He looks down at his arm, grabs his left wrist with his right hand, and pulls. The bend goes away, but he can't stay silent through that.

"AHHH!" he yells, tears coming to his eyes. The robot near Tony looks over for a second to see what is making the noise, then goes back to Tony. It picks him up, holding him up as a human shield against Joey and James.

[Master_Pelle]

Pelle once again tried to drive the cement machine to edge of the hole and he successful driving to the hole.

"I real should get driving lesson..." He said as he drive back.
