So, what does Thad see when he looks out of the warehouse?

While BD made the introductions Thad simply made a slight hand gesture when his name was called. He took in what everyone was saying but never broke from the sitting and thinking position. Not until his darting eyes finally picked up on the color differences between the heroes and the rest of the room. Seeing the flies just hanging in mid air made Thad stand up in almost disbelief. This can't be good. was the only thought that went through Thad's mind. He hurried over to the hole in the warehouse to take a look outside to see what effects had occurred due to the blast.

Waking up the first thought that came to Thad's mind was Why am I less than surprised that people act so hastily? Just because they're not finished doesn't mean they are harmless. Hearing Jack's apology helped but now they were in a whole new mess. It's true that the police should have arrived by now and if they came while we were all knocked out they wouldn't just have left us. They would have at least brought all of us in for questioning. Not to mention the machine is now gone. If that speedster had showed up again would he have just left us alone instead of exacting his revenge? Thad sits up and ponders on the situation while the heroes absorb what just transpired.

Sorry for not being around when stuff was happening but just got rid of a virus. Thad's Notice is 25 with Skill Mastery. And on a side note, Gizmo, I don't think Thad reviled his name or that anyone asked for it. It's not a big deal or anything it's just part of his character to forget to introduce himself. :)

Ok, I have Skill Mastery for Notice so I'll use it to take 10 which will give me a 25. Search check is a 17.

"Well, gum aside, just because a project failed doesn't mean it lost it's importance." stated Thad calmly. "They could have been looking for parts to complete their own devices or someone may have figured out how to finish one." Either way it means someone knew where to look and what to look for. Since these projects weren't completed then the general public or even most of the company employees shouldn't know of them." Thad begins looking around for an inventory log. That way if they discover the an empty space they should be able to match it in the log book. As he walk around Thad says, "That means if we can figure out what company owns the stolen goods they would be able to tell us the employees that worked on that project. It may not lead us to the true culprit but at least it's a lead nonetheless. They may be even able to tell us the original intentions of their work, but again it's best not to jump to conclusions." Thad's eyes begin to dart around the room. One reason to locate the log book, the other was his curiosity on what wonders these crates held. Oh, what I would give to be able to spend a few days here. They may be incomplete but failure leads to eventual success. Imagine what I might learn by studying the work of so many others. His mind buzzing with possibilities he continues his search.

"Aha!" Thad exclaimed enthusiastically as he recovered his take out order. He reaches in and pulls out an empanada and wraps a napkin around it. The smell takes his mind off the chaos briefly and then goes in for a bite. With his taste buds and stomach being content with the meal he begins to walk over to where everything had began. Seeing Strong Man encased in a sticky goo was sort of curious but mainly comforting knowing the villain had been contained and maybe when he comes around we'll get a few answers. After swallowing the last bite of his empanada he wipes away the crumbs from his mouth and hands with the napkin. He takes notice of his new allies as the one in the cape inspects the hole and the kid in the leather jacket makes his way over. Guessing the angle was air borne somewhere he looked around wondering where that loony fellow had gone too. Thad thinks to himself, What interesting characters live in this city. At least there is some noticeable good in them to come here and put a stop to those crooks. Well I suppose we should get down to business. Thad takes in a few quick breathes and clears his throat."Uh,hello there. Wish this meeting could have been on better circumstances but it looks like we may have stopped them for now. We'll have to contact the owner of this warehouse if we want an idea what is held within. I don't think this fellow is in any shape to talk to us at the moment and I'm not sure if he'd talk so freely when he does."

Seeing the fire extinguished and hearing the sirens approaching Thad lets out a sigh of relief. Hope the owners feel better about the building being a bit water logged instead of burned up. Thad says to himself. But I'm sure they would like their water towers back. Thad puts the water towers next to their original supports since they'll need to be refit with a crane anyway. Thad looks to the warehouse where all this started and began pondering what those crooks wanted within. Growl. Thad places a hand over his stomach as his hunger seemed to not care about what the villains were after and wanted to refocus on their previous engagement. Feeling additionally drained after his efforts in battling the blaze, Thad's curiosity would have to be put on hold while he refuels. A person can't solve a mystery on an empty stomach. Thad convinced himself as he sped towards the location of his take out order, hoping it will still be where he left it a moment ago.

Thad contemplated the suggestion for an instant. The fire continued to pose a threat and the sooner it was put out the better. He had already made a commitment to leave the battle to his new allies. They seem to have things under control and Thad has no idea what kind of speed that baseball bat wielding punk can put out. These thugs could even have an escape plan set up in advance for just such an occasion. So, instead of going off on a wild goose chase or straight into a trap, he threw off the notions of a high speed pursuit and focused his powers on another water tower. He uses it in the same manner as before to help the music inspired hero battle the flames. "It's more logical for me to stay here and help you out. I'd rather save this neighborhood than follow a speed demon into a trap."

Just going to do more of the same. Grabbing the next nearest water tower, moving it to where the fire is still going, and pouring out the contents in the same manner. I'll use another HP to negate Fatigue once again.

Though the sudden change in weather favored the heroes efforts it alone would not be enough to extinguish this blaze. Knowing all the time what was needed Thad focused his powers on the water tower. The tower was then lifted off it's supports and made it's way over the fire, all the while shimmering in the mysterious blue substance. "This is where things get difficult." Thad Minker murmurs to himself. With noticeable strain on Thad's face the tower begins to tip over releasing the massive flood of the water contained within. Thad makes sure not to allow the top of the tower fall onto the warehouse, after all what's the point in saving a building from a fire if you just let it get crushed by debris.

Point taken, then I shall be doing what I originally intended. Switching to TK I'll pick up a water tower and move it over the flames using 2 move actions. I'll extra effort to aid in extinguishing the blaze. I'll spend a HP to negate the fatigue.

Before I take my turn can I ask, what was the effect BD's weather control had on the fire?

Between the exploding cigars, baseballs being used as anti-air rounds, loud music, mid-air flirting, and angels battling fire controllers Thad was beginning to think this couldn't be real. Until he saw the warehouses engulfed in flames. That's when the not so realistic suddenly could become an all-out city inferno if nothing was done to stop it. Seeing that his new allies could take care of themselves in the battle Thad's body began to glow as he prepares to fly to the nearest fire. Once Thad's body is fully wrapped he is there almost instantaneously, landing on top of a warehouse next to the one on fire. "I can't let these flames get out of control. Buildings of these sizes have to have water towers." Thad tells himself as he scans the rooftops. Thad spots one and prepares himself for what he'll need to do if there is any hope of quenching the blaze that threatened his neighborhood.

Seeing as Thad will be manipulating a non-moving object I don't believe I need to roll anything since he will also not be attacking this round. I will be using Extra Effort to take another standard action and use 1 HP to remove the effects from Fatigue.

Thad gave up on the idea of making a surprise attack when he saw the kid in the leather get pinned by the metal beam. That's not good, we'll need all the support we can get to win this. He looked on as Strong man's head became engulfed with flames and began to shout for back up. Burn decided the best way for this was to create a deadly fireworks display in the sky trying to catch, what appeared to be an angel, in it's blast. Where are all these people coming from. To think I could live here and not have been bothered by this sort of thing was a mistake. Thad thought to himself. Oh, well. There were bound to be drawbacks sooner or later. Thad looked over to the beam that was pinning Breakdown and it soon began to shimmer as it became wrapped with a translucent blue substance. He easily plucked it out of the side of the building and said "Hey kid, time to get back into the game." Thad then looked at Burn and decided it would be best not to have any more explosions going on over head and sent the I-beam straight for the fire bug.

Seeing as Thad is unaware of BD's abilities he's going to lend a helping hand in the form of freeing him from the I-beam as my move action. Then I'll send it at burn for making a bang. So I use my TK attack bonus to try and hit but I'm not sure what the DC should be if it does. Sorry if this is wrong, still learning. :oops: Attacking Burn (1d20+12=25)

Just my luck! Thought Thad as he was stopped in his tracks a block away from where Strong Man decided to make a new door. I had to be in the mood to go out to eat today. And of course I wanted to actually walk around a bit. Thad heaved his shoulders and sighed as he looked down at his take out bag from his favorite Spanish restaurant. There was a blur of movement as something went inside and Thad now saw Burn and Force. Who the heck are these people and what are they doing so close to home? Soon, out of no where, some kid was telling them off. Thad looks a little puzzled as another youngster from up top the warehouse appears and begins to scold the three remaining outside. Shaking his head to make sure he wasn't imagining what he was seeing Thad knew things could get ugly real quick. I want this to end soon so the damages don't spread any further. A lot of people could get hurt. The thought troubled Thad as he began to think up something to do. With those two kids grabbing their attention I just may be able to catch one of them by surprise. He began to move towards the fray when he realized he was still carrying his take out order. Thad's stomach rumbled slightly as he set his meal on the ground. Don't move! Thad said as he pointed an accusing finger at the stationary bag. He looked back at the scene and knew it was time he started really making a difference.

The city has a way of bringing adventure to use whether or not we want it. I have been able to grow numb to the news of murder, much like we all have had to. I would do everything in my power to prevent the loss of life. They are not all perfect but they need to be followed by everyone and everyone must be held accountable. This helps to prevent anarchy which would lead to more problems.†Do you support the current government of your homeland? “I support the government for what it does to help people. The senseless arguments the separate parties have with each other are something that I stay clear of.†If so, how far are you willing to go to defend the government? If not, do you actively oppose it? “I guess being a vigilantly does oppose the government just a bit. Democracy, because it forces constant change within the government instead of being stagnate. That’s the best way to learn and my father always encouraged me to ask questions whenever I saw something that I didn’t know. If I feel it was wasted I get a little annoyed with myself and try to plan a way to make up for the lost time.†What are your hobbies when you are not adventuring or training? “I like to read just about anything like; books, magazines, newspapers, online articles, etc. Though they mainly have to do with my field I will read just about any subject. I also spend time on personal projects which vary from experiments involving blasting screens to just coming up with ideas for my mom’s birthday gift.†What do you do for relaxation? What interests do you have? “If I am stuck on something and need to clear my head I’ll brew some green tea, sit in my favorite arm chair and try to clear my mind for a few minutes. I’ll take walks but when I really want to enjoy myself I’ll just float about above the city. On really nice nights I’ll use my powers to lift my chair outside and drink my tea while lounging in it. My work isn’t all work, if that makes sense. I do what I love so I’m always doing what I enjoy.†How do you normally dress when not in your adventuring gear? “They are the same thing. It would be a nuisance to have to worry about getting changed before I went out. Most of the time I arrive to a problem because I was out on normal errands so I’ll be sporting tee shirt, jeans, boots, goggles, and my tool kit.†What do you normally wear in bed at home? “A clean shirt and my boxers.†What do you normally wear in bed while adventuring? “The same thing. Do others go to sleep in their costumes?†Do you wear any identifiable jewelry? “None, too risky that it could get caught while I’m working.†Where do you normally put your weapons, magic items, or other valuables when you are sleeping? “I don’t use any weapons, wouldn’t trust magic items in my house, and valuables are in a safe bolted to the floor of my shop under my work bench.†What morning or evening routines do you normally have? “Shower, shave, and coffee in the morning and I read something different each night.†Do these change when you are adventuring? “Not usually since these help me to start and end my day no matter what.†Travel: how do you get around locally? “I usually travel by foot for my local needs but if I am going far or to visit my folks I’ll use my powers to fly. The Toughness has been fixed. The drawback I wanted to cover when I posted the rest of his history. Would that be okay or do I still have to submit it before hand? I think the description of his telekinesis is good but I also found a really good picture online that I want to use to help describe what color shows during what emotion but I don't know how to do that. I know it seems sad that I don't know how to do this but it's just something I haven't needed to do. I saved it in my own pictures and bookmarked the page I got it from, since I'm not sure which one I need to use or how to properly do it. The picture is just a basic color wheel that I (and others) can reference during role playing, to make the color symbolism more effective and easier to understand.
