  1. Why don't we just make a regular 4-color child hero team then? I'd be fine with that too, 10 to 12 years old. Four or five members. We could still be orphans at an orphanage or something.
  2. Agnes didn't turn to face Byzantine when he spoke. She kept her attention focused on the injured people. "It's not me," she yelled back. "Don't move, Mr. Zodhiates. It looks like your arm is broken." Agnes stepped over the injured man and knelt beside the man's daughter. She looked to be about 10 years old, and she wasn't moving. Blood was flowing freely from a huge gash in her head. "It's going to be okay, Jen," Agnes said, but she sounded concerned. Agnes closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Her hands began to glow as she stretched them out over the unmoving girl. Gently, she lowered her hands, placing them on the girls head and chest. The girl began to glow too and after only a few seconds, she opened her eyes. "Agnes, is that you?" the girl said weakly. "Yeah, it's me Jen. You got whacked on the head, but you're going to be fine." Mr. Zodhiates watched, mouth agape as his daughter was healed. He wanted to exclaim, "Its a miracle" but he knew how Father Enos felt about the subject, so he kept his mouth shut. "Agnes!" he yelled. "Look!" He pointed over to the glowing werewolves. "What is that?" Agnes stood up and turned to look at the bright red glow. "I don't know," she said, shaking her head.

  8. :D The Lincolnator I think we should reconsider the whole alternate universe thing, or at least the steampunk version of it. It doesn't seem like a good fit for this board.

  14. Agnes was oblivious to the glow. As soon as the final werewolf was down, her attention was entirely devoted to untangling the people beneath the tent. Agnes focused her will again, and slowly began to descend to the street. She stumbled when her feet touched the ground, but caught herself before she fell. Her fellow church members were still struggling to get out from under the collapsed tent. Agnes easily lifted it off the ground and tossed it aside, and then she stooped down to see who was hurt and how she could help.
