Megan looked over at Randy with a slightly annoyed look as his theatrics. She was not quite sure to make of the underlying tone she detected, but was not about to ask him about it now. She turned back towards the heroine. “Him? The only problem he is causing is melodrama. He was just walking me down while I got a taxi. Thanks. Nothing going on here.†She said, somewhat dismissively.

They had not gotten far when an armored woman came down from the sky, landing in front of them. Megan did not recognize her, and tensed slightly at first, but as the woman spoke, it became clear she was not attack. “Umm, fine. No, nothing going wrong.†She replied.

Yeah, I am flying to Southern California later today, and won't be back till Sunday. I'll likely get on to post some, but not like normal. Velocity will probably chat a bit (she does need to kill a bit of time after all), but if these tests are going to take hours, she will likely head off to her party, and give Eagle a number to reach her at when they know more.

Was poking around on the Wayback Machine here, and found the old City of Heroes forums I have mentioned before in a few places here. Sadly the roleplaying forum was not archived (or any of the roleplaying threads) http://web.archive.org/web/200111140730 ... /index.php http://web.archive.org/web/200112182344 ... /index.php If you look at the two though, note that the first “picture†of the site (on Nov 14 of ’01) had 8,219 posts in the roleplaying forum, and then on the next (Dec 18 of ’01) it was up to 17185! Lot of posts for month! (and it just got worse over the next two years)
