Velocity looked back at the two armored robbers as one seemed to open small ports on his armor and unleashed a stream of metal shards into the air. Though the projectiles were moving at incredible speed, to Velocity’s eyes, they were moving far, far slower. The teenage heroine started dodging and twisting, maneuvering herself through the shards, somehow able to avoid being touched by any of them. Coming to a halt again as the wave of destruction rolled by her, she looked around at all the destruction and then back at the one who had caused it. “You know this is coming out of your allowance right?â€Â

Velocity watched as the bad guy that looked something like a robot hit Valkyrie. She seemed to not be much affected by the hit, but with both trying to beat on her, it could be bad. So the speedster shifts her target to Nanowire, zooming over towards him and taking a swing that misses. She then moves fifty feet past him down the hallway, coming to a halt and facing back towards the fight.

Megan smiled at the sight that greeted them inside. It would be nice to forget the more serious events of earlier in the evening, even if it was only for a short while. They had not gotten in very far when several of the girls from the cheerleading squad found them, quickly coming over to compliment their captain on her costume. Megan started talking with the girls while she let Cory go to get them some drinks. She wanted to get out on the dance floor soon as well.

“This is actually a bit too far for me to be very accurate.†Velocity replied. “Better I get over there as well.†She added, as she prepared to run back down the side of the building and up to the roof of Astro Labs, which should only take her a few seconds.

There is not much about Spinning on the Atomic Think Tank, but, what I did find implies that you can't break the PL cap with spinning. I suppose you could make a temporary tradeoff and reduce defense for more toughness from that (like not using dodge feats or something). At the very least, it helps her against grapples. As a PL 11 right now, she would get +2 to toughness from spinning (as she is below the cap) But what I was going to do when going defensive is have her perform the Total Defense manuver, which bumps her Defense to 28.
