*note to self*
"I've found "plan b" if the whole 'get married and have children' thing doesn't work out."
*checks cape prices on ebay*
[Edna Mode] NO CAPES! [/Edna Mode]
You could go to this guy for your outfit, though.

Thank you, Barnum.
It being a PL3 campaign, and an Elseworld as well, Dr. Archeville, should have answered that question for you with a little consideration.PL 3 not being listed in any thread title or explicitly mentioned in either of the "ASTRO Labs" threads, and the presence of dimensional vortices within the adventure, can easily lead one to assume it's open to anyone from any world.

I'd started a discussion about this on the Atomic Think Tank, over.... here.
My own feelings: I applaud them and wish more people would do it.

It sounds to me like a good point for new players to arrive, too.
Like me (as soon as my char's approved)? Or is this solely for the "Stat Yourself" characters?

Another chapter of the agonizingly slow legal dispute between Capcom and New Line over the similarities (or lack thereof) of Dead Rising to Dawn of the Dead began yesterday.
In a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, Capcom says that "humans battling zombies in a shopping mall" is a "wholly unprotectible idea" by copyright standards. Seemingly fearing a lawsuit, Capcom is seeking to stop The MKR Group, which claims to be the exclusive owner of the copyright to Dawn of the Dead original and 2004 remake, from asserting its intellectual property, including copyright and trademark.
We'll let you know what happens, but until then, read the complaint yourself (.pdf), if you like poring through legal documents.

I'm sending a fervant wish to my Valentine too, but I think my Valentine's Day is going to go about like Robin's.
In a dark cave with an older man?

True, but it's nice to see that he could design something resembling an Iron Man suit in about an hour (a 20pp forearm-mounted blaster gauntlet, 20pp flight belt, 20 pp force field/protection vest/breastplate, 20pp sensor suite helmet, and 20pp super-strength exoframe)*. Or design an Earth-to-Moon teleporter on his lunch break**. You know, in case he's bored
* and with the proper equipment construct it in under four weeks!
** and have it built in about five days!
