Mr. Fantastic

Someone said I should make the goggles more reflective (glass in the lenses). Here was my attempt at it. Not sure which version I like better. With or without the glass... Oh and the coloring was just done in photoshop using layers... The tough part is knowing where to highlight, and I used to paint miniatures, and learned how to read the light from that. It is just knowing where the light would hit, and where it would be darkest.

Hi all, I haven't drawn much for about 10 years... But getting back into the Superhero Roleplaying got my artistic juices flowing, and the pencil somehow jumped into my hand! I am not a pro or anything, I am a hobby penciler and do it casually. I did a concept sketch of my new PL6 kid hero JOHNNY XTREME, he is a speedster... I wanted him to look like a normal kid so I drew a tee shirt, a modified bike helmet, and some old WWI pilot goggles, with standard pants and shoes... He is a superhero, but can't afford the fancy outfit, heh heh. Anyways, this is just a pencil sketch thought people might like to see... Still debating on whether to clean it up and colorize it... Anyways let me know what you think. I posted this on the M&M forums as well for feedback.

Hi everyone, I just joined up today. Well I am new to M&M, but I am not new to RPGs. I started playing in 1980 and collecting comics around the same time... Hmm let's see, what RPGs have I played? I've played D&D (all versions), Hero System (also Champions 1st edition), Middle Earth RPG, Call of Cthulhu, Villains and Vigilantes, Marvel Superheroes RPG, HarnMaster, TMNT. I also played Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, and Confrontation for miniature games. I am turning 37 this week, and am excited to start up M&M. I am married, have a dog, and have convinced my wife to play M&M as well (who has been playing RPGs for about 8-9 years). Yes I converted her to the geek side with my uber mind control powers... If only I could get out of helping with the dishes... :shock: I work in a hospital, and I am a Supervisor/Database Programmer/Analyst for a Health Region that has roughly 13,000 employees... Endless data to analyze... In any case, I love talking about comics, RPGs, movies and pretty much anything geeky in nature. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada (CST). I look forward to electronically submitting dice rolls with you all... :D
