I used to think the same thing until I put myself out there a bit more.
that's what i've been telling her. barny, i say, if you'd just put out a bit more, you'd have no trouble catching some men.

"Oh my god," Lucy muttered.
She pushed herself up on one hand and covered her mouth with the other. Agnes' face was right below hers, and Lucy got a good look at the carnage from their inexplicable fight. The church girl looked bad. Her hair was stained with blood, and large chunks of clotted blood were smeared across her mouth and nose. Her eyes were closed.
"Oh my god," she repeated.
Lucy quickly sat up, but then realized she was still straddling the church girl. She scrambled sideways, trying not to injure Agnes any more than she already was, and fell butt first into the snow.
"Oh my god . . ."

i am playing the field (pimpin' ain't easy!), but I admit it would be a little easier without the electronic monitoring device strapped to my ankle. 8-)

Lucy felt the church girl go limp beneath when her head hit the floor. Still clutching her neck, Lucy stared down in the Agnes' face. Her nose and lips were bloody, and she was as pale as a sheet. Lucy's stomach churned at the sight, and a wave of pity washed over her. The shadow felt it too.
"You can't stop now! Finish her! It's what she diserves."
Lucy was conivinced. Still squeezing as tight as she could, Lucy lifed Agnes' neck again. Her head flopped back, completely limp.
THUD! Lucy slammed Agnes' head into the stone floor again.

Using a HP to gain Power Attack.
And a HP to reroll.
attack vs. DC 10. (1d20-2=18) - that's a hit. toughness save = DC 16

Agnes knocked all of the wind out of Lucy's lungs with that blow to her stomach, and Lucy's breakfast nearly made a reappearance. Lucy was done. She felt like she was going to pass out. All she wanted to do was sit down and cry. What in the world was she doing?!?
She has a weapon! If you give up now, you are done for!
Lucy sucked in as much air as she could to try to stave off fainting, and with a pitiful grunt, she dove at the church girl, trying her best to wrap her thin fingers around her neck and slam her head against the stone floor.

“I don’t know,†Lucy said, shaking her head. She picked up a handful of snow herself to make sure it was real. With the voice of the shadow gone, Lucy was baffled at how strongly she had wanted to hurt the church girl just a few minutes before. Those feelings were entirely vanished.
Lucy stood to her feet and offered her hand to Agnes to help her up as well. “Are you okay?†she asked. “You look….bad.â€Â
