Alexander Croix was a pretty normal guy, he worked as a part time pizza delivery man & freelance photographer, he has a sweet, pretty girlfriend named Alicia, & a comfortable apartment...until one night he took a wrong turn & was kidnapped by the clandestine group "Monsters inc" a group of rouge government scientists who were using government funds to create & control "super solders", freakish man-monsters who often displayed animalistic traits, but some weren't even recognizable as being formerly human, Alex was now CANCER, a crab-like creature possessed of incredible physical power & stamina..however a rival group destroyed the main operations of monsters inc and unknowingly released the unfinished beast-man into the sewers of freedom city, where he remains to this day, both defending his "territory" & feeding from the masses of homeless people.

"Hmmm..new friend or foe?" Damien asked himself seeing the wreckage around him, he began flying towards the suburbs, "Time to play" he whispered, hovering over a good sized white townhouse. His eyes flashed with unholy energy as twin black beams of destruction lanced from his eyes into the rooftop below, proceeding to do the same to the next two homes (Do I have to roll to hit the top of a house?)

Landing on top of the warehouse that the comet fell behind, Damien looked around for anything unusual..life being the foremost, spotting large, semi-human foot prints he thought about chasing the unknown lifeform & confronting it, but decided to simply follow it before just trying to bash it..
