  1. For a moment there I thought we'd be having lightning-charred deer for dinner. Seriously, you're characters a 'bit' unfinished. If he used to be a researcher, I'd suggest in investing in his mental stats like int and wis. Same goes for skills, craft (especially chemical) and knowledge (probably life sciences) would be good. I'd also suggest moving the force field and flight out of the air control array. As it stands now, if you use your blast while in the air you'll start plummeting to the ground. Your toughness save bonus can't be that high either. Either the defense or the force field will have to drop but they can't add up to more than 20. On these boards the maximum trade-off is -4/+4 so that's either a defense bonus of +6 with a toughness bonus of +14 or the other way around.

  3. 1) I'm guessing the Ancient Greek is your nativa language so you'd have to take a rank of the language skill for the English. 2) The equipment seem to be okay in the above version. 3) I won't comment on the petrification power, because it seems to incorporate things from Ultimate Power and I'm not familiar with that. 4) I'd see the one rank as the mass of snakes pinning or grappling with an opponent as opposed to multiple ranks where the snakes would be able to grapple multiple opponents or some such. I'd say it's okay. 5) Adding up from the sheet, I get 155 and that's with the 29 pp petrification...

  6. Cool character Bael, really like him. You're stat bonus for Gather Info should be +2, though. I only found 78 pps worth of powers, but I don't know which is the base power of the magic array. That's all, keep rocking man. PS. Sorry for butting in, beard. :)

  12. I'm pretty new to GMing but could check builds if you need the extra help. Maybe some refereeing too, later. Anyway, if you need an extra judge for characters, sign me up! :)

  15. The 1 pp/rank version of morph with the metamorph power feat basicly gives you two separate characters. You can build one character who may be, for example, a wizard. You give him the (meta)morph power. Then you build a complete second character, say a dragon, and he has to have the same rank of (meta)morph as the wizard. You can have as many alternate characters as you have ranks of the metamorph power feat. In addition, if you have the 2pp/rank version of morph (for example, humanoids), then the metamorph-characters can only be humanoids. So no unicorns or dragons. For the mythological character mentioned earlier, I'd possibly go with Morph 4 (Mythological creatures; Power Feats: Metamorph 3; 11 pp). There is really no set amount of ranks you have to have of morph if you want a metamorph-character. It depends on the GM/Judge but I think the usual amount is 4 ranks or so. *looks at above* Hrm, hope that helped.

  20. Hey everyone. Found my way here from over at Groovy Gamers, congrats on the great board and idea. I think I'll work out the site's first villain  I could also check characters, too, if needed. I've also got a few heroes and villains taking up space on my harddrive if you ever need NPC-fodder. Rock on guys, I look forward to this. :)
