  1. "…For my part, I have been sent to your land by Utopia Isle, a tenative effort to see if greater interaction with humanity's wider world can be possible."

"Well, let me know if you find anything. I haven't seen any evidence that would recommend my sorry lot."

  2. "It is both my name and purpose. A declaration of it."

"So who are you an Emissary from? Silver skin suggests more to you than just being a simple ambassador."

Amelia kept her cool, but she was feeling a little worry inside. It was always an adjustment when she visited Freedom, having to catch up on enough world events that she could bluff her way through things the humans had experienced as they happened. 'I hope there wasn't any sort of alien contact that everyone has already taken for granted. It was bad enough in '93 when I found I'd just missed the Terminus Invasion.'

  5. Amelia's search of the crowd had turned up a couple promising candidates: the Japanese man in the wheelchair, some movie actor who's name was escaping her at the moment, an older man who had hanging off him one very sneaky little thing, and the silver statue. If she was going to reintroduce herself which one was the best choice to spread her new face around?

But boredom snuck in and made an excellent point. Curiosity won out after that. 'I'll let my image take care of itself for once,' she thought, glancing over at the metal man. 'Man of steel, maybe?'

She strode over, swaying her hips a little for the benefit of anyone who cared to see. She stopped next to the man in the wheelchair, turned to look at the silver man, and stuck one hand on her hip. "Well, well, well. My aunt never mentioned anyone like you around."

  8. Cold Blood was just about to step into a teleport when she heard the sounds of metal being crushed. She paused a moment to try and discern the direction they were coming from, but that action was rendered pointless when a large ball of metal shot up into the sky. Cold Blood was more than a little surprised, but she noted where the ball had come from and teleported to the roofs above that area.
