Uninverted
((Save against Nausea http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1412616 Attack http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1412626)) Shrugging off his short-lived terror, Maelstrom saw the attack coming, and blew it away with a light breeze. "What did you think mist was going to do to someone that can control air?" he yelled, and tried to think of a suitable counter-attack. He found an object that he had missed before: an old fashion cylindrical metal garbage can. He remotely tossed the lid into the air, and sent it flying towards his opponent. Link to comment

SilvercatMoonpaw
Cold Blood leapt the side, but that wasn't enough to dodge the trash can. However it simply glanced off her as if it was nothing. Coming to a crouch she shot off another Hellmist before teleporting to the roof nearest the wind villain. Unfortunately the hastiness of her action spoiled her aim. [OOC]Toughness save. (1d20+11=26) Attack roll. (1d20+10=12), Teleport to roof nearest Maelstrom.] Link to comment

Uninverted
Seeing the potential of using his opponent's position against him, Maelstrom gathered all of the air around him into a dense mass behind him. The moment before he would've fallen, he hurled himself in the general direction of the building where he was standing on. In the split second before impact, he wondered whether this was such a good idea. ((Strength check (+6 for Flight 6) http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1418065)) Link to comment

SilvercatMoonpaw
With barely any need to brace Cold Blood stops the rush dead, using the moment to grab the mad scientist. However Maelstrom's bouncing backwards slips him out of her reach. [OOC]Strength check (1d20+8=26) Attack roll (1d20+10=16) Grapple check (1d20+18=19)] Link to comment

Uninverted
Maelstrom knew from experience that hitting him hurt more than hitting a brick wall. So far, he had seen that his opponent was made of steel, could scare you sick to your stomach, and could shoot mist. And based on the other two, he didn't want to see what the mist did. So he focused on watching the hero's every move, ready to blow it away if he tried to launch any in case it took more than a light breeze. Link to comment

SilvercatMoonpaw
Cold Blood was ready to deal with the wind-controller again from a distance, but he made a tactical error: he stayed within her reach. She unleashed her cold spirit again, but this time it emerged from her hand like claws. She swung at him, missing again. She suppressed a growl. [OOC]Attack roll (1d20+10=15), *sigh*] Link to comment

Uninverted
((Attack: http://invisiblecastle.com/find.py?id=1438440)) Maelstrom was getting tired of this. The novelty of fighting something scary and unknown was wearing off. He sent a sharp wind towards his opponent, only to blast apart a garden gnome in someone's yard. Link to comment

SilvercatMoonpaw
Cold Blood was realizing the futility of the situation: so far she had not inflicted a single injury, and the longer the fight went on the more likely she would get injured as well as loose the aura of fear that was so useful to what she did. Deciding that this prey was not worth the effort she recalled her spirit and sent herself into some new hunting grounds. [OOC] Link to comment
