    Birthplace: Freedom City
    Occupation: Student
    Affiliations: Claremont Academy
Family: Ken Lee (Father, Deceased), Wanda Benjamin, née Paige (Mother), John Benjamin (Stepfather), Naomi Benjamin (Half-sister)

    Description:
    Age: 16 (1997)
    Apparent Age: 16

    Height: 6'2"
    Weight: 175 lb

Cho is a growing girl, perhaps more so due to her Terminus mutation. For her age, she is very tall and strongly built. She’s still in her awkward teenage years and this growth spurt only make her feel more awkward. Due to the recent development of her imperviousness to harm, she’s had trouble cutting her hair and wears it short and messily cut.

    Power Descriptions:
Infused by Terminus energies, Cho has recently developed superhuman strength and endurance and even a certain measure of invulnerability. In addition to this, she can project a blast of destructive energy, disintegrating things. This is a power she has a much harder time controlling. Since she is young, there is room for her powers to grow and expand.

    History:
Cho’s mother survived the Terminus invasion. Nothing all that out of the ordinary by itself, plenty of people had. The specific details she doesn’t speak about, being quite shaken by the ordeal. However, the Terminus exposure had altered her mother and this was passed on to Cho (and to her sister, however no one currently knows this). After falling on hard times, Cho’s father moved to Southside. He was killed only two years later in a gang shoot out.
Cho then lived out with her mother and later her stepfather. While he’s far from a bad man (and indeed helped Cho’s mother quite a lot), Cho and him have a very strained relationship. Mostly, she just doesn’t agree with him and resent the man for not being her father. Life was harsh and Cho’s flaring temper often got her in trouble with some dangerous people.

This all came to a change last year, however. Cho began to experience excruciating pain nearly constantly and grew from small to outright towering and powerful, much to her delight as it only made her even better at sports she enjoyed so much and scared bullies away. However, deep down, she also felt scared and did not understand what was going on with her. Answers came when, in a fit of anger with a local jock bullying a smaller kid, she accidentally vaporized a chunk of the school’s wall in a blast of Terminus energy. Ever since that, her powers have only kept growing in more painful spurts and functioning as a normal teenager is getting harder.

    Personality & Motivation:
Cho is desperate to prove herself and that her powers can be used for the greater good. She has good intentions but has poor judgment in how to proceed. She’s quite hot-tempered and could easily have been labelled a troubled child.

    Powers & Tactics:
Cho is a very poor combattant, untrained and unrestrained. On the flip side she’s monstrously strong and her newfound indestructibility has made her even more reckless. She also hasn’t tested the limits of said powers, which could mean some very nasty surprise down the line.

    Complications:
Terminus Baby: Cho is a child of the Terminus, with all the stigmas associated with this.
Temper: She’s very passionate but this also has plenty of downsides, especially when you can cause a lot of damage.
Strained Family Life: Cho has a strained relationship with her parents following the outbreak of her powers.
Growth Spurts: Cho is still prone to painful growth spurts, both physically and power-wise. In addition, her body need fuel, giving her some cravings at the most inopportune moments. She can also be weakened if she doesn’t eat enough.

  2. Calm and meditation came to an end, a screeching and brusque one at that. He found himself rocked in his chair, leaving him surprised and perhaps a tiny bit confused. He blinked for a moment as his train of thought had to catch up to him. And it did so rather quickly as he immediately started thinking about scenarios on how to escape this situation. Well, ‘escape’ being a loose word here. He knew he likely had to step in, in some way, if no one else would.

‘Answered for?’ mentally scoffed Kyle, somewhat offended by the concept of such a machine being declared an affront to nature. Getting up from his seat, he knew he had to get to his briefcase as soon as there would be an opening for it. The question was; could he do it in time?

  3. This is currently undergoing an intensive rewrite.

    Earth E(ntropy)

    The weird baby boom...

Terminus babies. Terminals. Entropoids. Mutants. Freaks. They've been called many names, the children of the Terminus. In 1993, the Terminus invasion was halted at an immense cost. Centurion died. With his sacrifice, the world lived another day. Following this, there were sporadic reports of the so-called 'Terminus babies' being born. It wasn't until 2015 that people realized that the Terminus babies were not only here to stay but would change the world. Truth is, nearly anyone born during and after the invasion of 1993 was soaked up and full of Terminus energy. Most just never awakened to their powers right away.

By 2015, the percentage of Terminus babies born began to rise expanentionally world-wide. Many of them were hideously deformed and often had very destructive powers. As their numbers grew, more and more latent T-Babies awakened to their powers, often destructively. Those who didn't still produced T-Babies offsprings. The current year is 2036. More than half the population has been mutated in some form.

What people don't seem to realize is that the danger posed by T-Babies is not readily apparent. Fueled by entropy, destruction and madness their powers are weakening the world. Each one of them act as a living link to the power of entropy. Because, you see, the Terminus invasion may have been repelled but it had lasting effects. No world had ever resisted the forces of Omega before. Now, the world is sick. Dying. Like a living, sentient cancer. Devoured by all those mutants that scurry on it's surface, their powers slowly extinguish the light of the world.

Omega won. It just took longer for everyone to realize it.

As you can see, this is inspired by Age of Apocalypse, Days of Future Past, Earth X, Marvel 2099 and Kingdom Come among other things.

  4. I'll post more detailed fluff later. The basic idea is that he's a Terminus baby. He's a bit of a street kid, very physically active, so physical stats would be good even without the enhanced abilities. I might swap around the charisma and int on the PL7 Paragon build by Ecal; make the character smarter but way less of a people person. Or I could keep it, I'm not sure yet.

I have currently removed the weirder/more 'exotic' powers of the Paragon. However! I have added a Disintegration power with the Full Power flaw. The basic idea here is that as he mature, his power set will grow and expand from a more pure powerhouse to the a more usual and 'normal' paragon build. Right now, aside from boosted physical abilities, he can unleash his Terminus energy...but that's about all he can do with it and he has poor control over that ability.

  5. With time and privacy on his hands, Kyle Finley finds himself with some ample time to meditate. Closing his eyes, he focus to let all earthly concerns go away and enter a trance, as his masters instructed him to do. A clear mind allows focus, or so he was told. Meditation is essential to a clear, relaxed state of mind, one that opens it up. Unfortunately, Kyle has a rather active mind, one that doesn’t stop mentally tinkering so meditating takes a few tries before working for him.

‘I definitely need to learn to better apply those meditation methods I’ve worked on. Oh and I also need to work on updating the..’ And there he goes again, on a train of thoughts. He only manage to properly meditate on the next try.

  6. Sitting down at his seat, Kyle let his mind wander and relax for a brief moment. Emphasis on ‘brief’ as it does not take long for him to start thinking about his work. Diagrams fill his mind, blueprints and arcane formulas. And, of course, what lies ahead for him on his journey to Ayer’s Rock.

Trying to take his mind off work, he look around the train out of simple curiosity. After all, this was a state of the art train and he had five years of technological advancements to catch up to. ‘Maybe I should take an afternoon to study that train’, think Kyle. He snaps out of it, once again wrestling with the idea that he can relax. It is a somewhat alien concept. Before, he worked as an inventor. Then, memorizing arcane formulas and pouring old tomes became his routine. Now he had to do both. Finally managing to take his mind off all that, he looks around the train.

  7. Origin Story

Locked away in his dusty, half-reactivated workshop, Kyle Finley is toiling and working extensively. “Allright, day….day...day number eight, I believe? Yes, day eight. Beginning final testing of the suit’s systems.†says the scientist, recording himself. Kneeling down, he begin to adjust large, heavy metallic boots that reach up to his knee. “Now if I have done my work and I’m not too rusty, these two rocket-powered boots should function and interface properly with the rest of my suit. If they don’t, well, that’s back to the drawing board for me.†For the final phase of his suiting-up, he slip on two metallic gauntlets before putting on his ‘helmet’...a makeshift, ugly jury-rigged device that weighs heavily on his head and is a tangled mess of wires, mechanical pieces and holographic projectors. “Note to self; I probably look rather ridiculous don’t I?†Finalizing his set-up, he plug the wires of his helmet onto the skin-tight, circuitry-laden midnight blue suit that cover his entire body. One would expect an inventor like him to continue this experiment by activating the suit and proceeding to experiment with high-technology, but Kyle has a different, second set of expertise, so to speak. Lifting his arms into the air, he began to chant; “By the silvery shield of-â€

He gets cut off as miss Darcy enters the room. Suzie and him had worked together for ASTRO Labs and he was in her debt as without her he wouldn’t have had a lab to work in. “What are you doing?†she asked him, almost tilting her head in confusion. “What do you mean, ‘what am I doing’? I’m working. Well, more like turning myself into a guinea pig.†replies the inventor, having stopped his incantation. “I thought you were done with ‘science’  and inventing. When you said you wanted the lab back, I thought you were going to turn it into some sort of library. There’s plenty of space here for it.†She’s immediately cut off. “No, no! Far from it! Yes, I know it sounded preposterous when I came back after five years and yes, I know it sounded even more so when I said I was now a sorcerer. I’m glad you believed me, however.†The woman roll her eyes. “Yes, well,  you’re the one who was so desperate to be believed you basically showed it to me.â€

“Which in hindsight was not the smartest thing I did.†admit the inventor. “But I had to tell someone. Everyone need a confidant and in that point in time, you seemed the best choice. See, I’ve even taken an old invention out of the mothballs.†Once more, the retort is quick and sharp. “Yes, the nerve-interface suit, we’ve scrapped that one years ago, what’s the point of using something that never got finished?†Somewhat lacking in attention span, Kyle activate the jet boots, floating into the air a feet or so above the ground as he tries to control. “Whoa! Hold on a moment, I just need to adjust my flight speed. Those boots adds a significant amount of push to my flight. And YES, I AM LISTENING!†he shout as the boots make a ruckus, make it hard to hear things. “Right, well, the nerve-suit is calibrated not only to my nervous system but also connected to my chakra points. Think of it as a magical mocap suit, except it’s not really like that at all. Now, hold on just one more moment. By the silvery shield of Sylferos, may no evil touch my flesh!†A melding of science and magic, the suit and Kyle’s spell worked in tandem, the incantation creating a protective ward for him and the suit. Then the suit would reinforce the barrier.

“Magic and science work as one.†proclaims the sorcerer as he gently float back to the ground, surrounded by his protective wards supplemented by a force field. “In addition the suit posses my entire collection of spells, ritual, wards, you name it. Well, I might have forgotten a few, I need to double-check. Now it does make managing all my spells easier and comes with pre-loaded spell configurations. Oh, right, I forgot the-†Suzie cuts him off, smiling sadly. “I don’t think I’ve seen you this excited in a long time. Look, I don’t claim I can ever understand your mystical mumbo-jumbo but…†Kyle decide to be the one to cut off, this time; “But?†he says, amused. “But you have no idea how glad I am you’re back. Beside, it’s good to see you’ve got the passion for your work back even if it’s different now. Just don’t forget to eat this time, okay?†And with that, she leave. Left alone, Kyle’s smile slowly fade. It was true he had found passion back in his work, but his work was different now. Closing his eyes, everything came back rushing to him. His betrayal by a close friend. Helping unleash an unspeakable horror into the world. Years looking to find a way to send the monster back to the darkness, finally leading him to study magic. He had a new job, now. A purpose and a duty, even.

A few days later, after more toiling, he was ready. The nerve-suit perfectly adjusted, he lifted his hands and called upon the power of the wind. Lifting slowly into the air, he called to him the pieces of his armor, who flew toward him and attached themselves, lightweight plates of a silvery color. Realizing that this accoutrement would not be quite fitting to a student of the arcane, he flicked his wrist at his cape, tossed in a corner. The piece of clothe flew right at him. Yes, it would make a fine addition to his armor.

  8. Mister Finley had just gotten back to Freedom City after a five-year absence and already he had found himself away from the city, in this case for mystical purposes. His mentor had recommended him to visit Ayers Rock. Even with his training done and over, there was still more to learn from other masters. After all, there was still much he had to learn about the arcane arts. he was but an initiate in such matters.

With his armor safely stored within a compartment and his nerve-interface suit hidden beneath actual clothes, he could travel lightly enough and not expose his secret identity. Still, Kyle couldn’t help but feel just a tiny bit anxious. After spending years away from society, first travelling then as an hermit, re-adjusting to it was not as easy as he imagined it would be. For now, he would have to contend with the hassles of day-to-day life.

Kyle has the type of face one would associate with the typical ‘old magician’...if that magician was still in his late ‘30. He has an aquiline nose and a very deep set, bordering on ominous gaze despite his good nature. When younger, he was often teased or mocked for having a somewhat thuggish face. His hair is cropped short and he has a small beard. Any longer would make putting on his armor impractical.

    Power Descriptions:
Kyle Finley is trained in the arcane arts as well as a good inventor, skills he has put to use in building a suit of armor that combine technology and magic. The suit augment his mystical abilities thanks to computer assistance, amongst other things.

    History:
Kyle Finley was born in Freedom City in 1975. He and his sister were rather late children, their parents in their forties. Olivia, Kyle’s sister, was born only two years after him. His childhood was mostly unremarkable, save for the fact he lived in Freedom City (where truly bizarre things can and do happen). For the most part, he’s kept to himself and later went studying abroad, away from the city. Eventually worked at ASTRO Labs where he became acquainted with his friend (and later arch-enemy) Lester Everett, later known as Khavanda.

Lester had always been interested in ancient history and lost civilizations. Lester had looked for a long time for someone to provide him with advanced technology and money to help him fund a very dangerous expedition. Finally managing to convince Kyle to accompany him to explore and research what he believed to be subterranean ruins of an ancient civilization deep in the South Pacific, Lester lead his friend and fellow co-workers deeper and deeper into the earth. There, Lester found a dangerous magical artifact, the Teeth of Khavanda whose recovery had been the secret purpose of this expedition all along. Lester, now Khavanda, mocked Kyle for his naivety and his reliance on modern science. Ancient magic and sorcery were the true path to power. They were the truth of this reality.

Kyle eventually escaped, lost and ashamed; he had helped unleash an ancient evil upon the world. For years, he travelled around the world, looking for a way to atone and perhaps even stop Khavanda. At times, he even considered that it might not be his problem; after all, earth certainly has many powerful protectors. Still, he couldn’t just walk away from this. And so Kyle Finley followed rumour after rumour, eventually arriving at Shambala Vale where he studied the art of magic in hopes of eventually banishing Khavanda back to whatever foul dimension it crawled up from. There he long debated and wondered where he was going and what he believed in; science and the modern world or magic and the ancient world.

Recently, Kyle has returned to Freedom City after a five year absence. Once back, he found out that his parents had both passed away in his absence. Having finally realized what his true path was, he secluded himself in his old lab. Having finally understood that science and magic were both valid path, he turned his skills to crafting tools that would combine the best of both worlds. Forging himself a glistening suit of powered armor, Kyle Finley became THE SILVER MAGUS!

    Personality & Motivation:
The Silver Magus primarily wish to banish Khavanda from earth. However, this has since evolved into a desire to protect earth from all manners of foul threats. Presumably magical ones, but one can’t be picky about what evil they fight.

    Powers & Tactics:
The Silver Magus is an inexperienced fighter and a decent mystic. His armor augment his versatility and his defensive abilities. Since Kyle also keep his identity a secret, he tries to avoid being seen using magic outside of his armor. It's better for his ennemies to think that all his powers are dependant on the armor.

    Complications:
Enemy: Khavanda is a dangerous foe to the Silver Magus and the two actively try to destroy each others.
Secret: Kyle's identity as the Silver Magus is meant to be a secret.
Forbidden Fruit: Sometimes, the desire for knowledge mean Kyle can go too far and fall into hubris, all in the name of knowledge.
Gullible: It's easy to abuse Kyle's trust.
Ophidiophobia: Snakes really freak him out. This also applies to the accursed Snake people of Lemuria.

    Alternate Identity: Kyle Finley

    Identity: Secret

    Birthplace: Freedom City

    Occupation: Inventor

    Affiliations: ASTRO Labs

Family: Davis Finley (Father, Deceased), Karen Emery (Mother, Deceased), Olivia Finley (Sister)

    Description:

    Age: 38 (DoB: 1975)

    Gender: Male

    Ethnicity: Caucasian

    Height: 5’9â€

    Weight: 170lb

    Eyes: Green

    Hair: Ginger

Kyle has the type of face one would associate with the typical ‘old magician’...if that magician was still in his late ‘30. He has an aquiline nose and a very deep set, bordering on ominous gaze despite his good nature. When younger, he was often teased or mocked for having a somewhat thuggish face. His hair is cropped short and he has a small beard. Any longer would make putting on his armor impractical.

    Power Descriptions:

Kyle Finley is trained in the arcane arts as well as a good inventor, skills he has put to use in building a suit of armor that combine technology and magic. The suit augment his mystical abilities.

For the most part, he’s kept to himself, studying and eventually working at ASTRO Labs where he became acquainted with his friend (and later arch-enemy) Lester Everett, later known as Khavanda.

Lester had always been interested in ancient history and lost civilizations. Lester had looked for a long time for someone to provide him with advanced technology and money to help him fund a very dangerous expedition. Finally managing to convince Kyle to accompany him to explore and research what he believed to be subterranean ruins of an ancient civilization, Lester lead his friend and fellow co-workers deeper and deeper into the earth.

Edit 2: Need to shave off a few points, I'll get to that in a bit.

Edit 3: Did the edits Thevshi mentionned.

    Edit 4: Changed formatting.

    Notes:

-Still need to name his archenemy.

-Need to get AA's build verified, as I may have not seen possible errors.
