  1. Fixit's stats are up now. He doesn't really have a background or history since he's pretty much just something they built for maintenance. Though humorously he is quite a bit smarter than TOASTER. I fixed the ability score problems and spent those points. Snare has been changed to Constricting, so now he is picking up bits of metal and wrapping them around you.
  2. He's a Construct so his Strength Dexterity and Constitution are 0, then bought up from there. That is why those cost their full price and not just the price from 10. This is still a work in progress and I haven't written the minion stats yet. It's one 45 PP minion. He's Techno-organic, so his steel skin is maybe an eight of an inch thick, and then artificial musculature etc. The Noticeable is more to the point that his skin is shiny and made up of segments. The Snare is not actually meant to be grabbing metal and wrapping it around them, but actually magnetizing the person themselves and something metal nearby. Sticking them to a wall with really really strong static cling in a way. The Minion is going to have Craft ranks as well as being my general help buddy. It's his job to patch me up after fights. I put Resurrection because as a construct all damage I take defaults to Lethal. I'll still need the minion to fix me for it to work.

His entire body is polished to a mirror shine with yellow highlights in several places and an enormous G for Grant Conglomerate in the center of his chest. His costume was intentionally designed to seem both like a uniform and like something out of a sci-fi movie, in order to impart a sense of trustworthiness and power to the model. His voice is deep and masculine, focus groups find the pitch soothing, and programmed to use down to earth vocabulary. The goal of the project was to create a home appliance capable of acting as both a butler and a bodyguard against Metahuman threats. The project went far over budget and the product was re-purposed as a perfect spokesman who would help repair the damage to Grant's public image after the numerous scandals assosciated with their subsidiaries. The project was shut down after only one prohibitively expensive prototype was produced, and all assets transferred to the PR department for use in their marketing campaign. TOASTER knows only what he has been programmed to know, so he thinks of himself as a Super Hero, but is also fanatically loyal to Grant Conglomerate. Usually Grant keeps the superhuman research insulated in a subsidiary so TOASTER does not know about the company's shadier aspects. TOASTER was introduced with all appropriate pomp and fanfare in a midtown press conference amidst clouds of confetti and actors hired to cheer.   4. Someone pointed out an error on El Sapo. The line that says Leaping 4 (x25; 625 ft. Running long jump, 312 ft. Standing long jump, 156 ft. Vertical jump; Move Action) [4 PP] should actually be Leaping 4 (x25; 500 ft. Running long jump, 250 ft. Standing long jump, 125 ft. Vertical jump; Move Action) [4 PP] I was accidentally applying the bonus from my Super Strength to leaping, which I shouldn't have been doing. Edits done by Geez3r
  5. "No need amigo! El Sapo is no ordinary man!" He beats his chest with one hand and begins pacing to keep warm. "El Sapo has many layers of muscle to be keeping El Sapo warm. Like blubber on whales you know? But enough of El Sapo, speak of you amigo. You are hero too yes?" El Sapo does at least agree to walk back into the Starbucks and take a seat where he won't be freezing to death while they talk. "El Sapo began training for heroism four years ago, but only started patrolling earlier this year."
  6. "Yes it's very... brisk this evening." El Sapo grits his teeth to keep them from chattering as he crosses the street to the much smaller man's side. Then again everyone looks rather diminutive next to El Sapo. "Warlock you said? I take it you too are a defender of justice? I find I am still new at this patrol thing, I need to look into getting a warmer costume..." He says ruefully as he succumbs to the urge to vigorously rub his hairy arms together.
  7. El Sapo braces to leap again and then stumbles and nearly falls off the roof as he sees the man waving at him. He freezes, look left and then right. Finally he looks back ahead quizzically and waves weakly. How did this man spot El Sapo? Deciding to investigate further the lumbering luchador hops down to street level and poses dramatically with his beefy fists on either hip. "Is there a problem citizen? Fear not, El Sapo is here to help!" He tries very hard not to fidget as the biting cold begins chilling his extremities now that they were no longer warmed by exertion.

He tenses and then leaps again, soaring once more through the sky, an action figure come to life silhouetted against the moon. The cold bothered him, though he would never admit it, and certainly his spandex shorts that ended at the knees did little to hold on to heat, but he had an image to maintain and as he told Maria El Sapo cannot fight crime in a sweater! No one can be intimidating force for justice in a sweater. His latest leap ends with a rumbling crash as he alights on the roof of yet another building. He gazes sadly at the Starbucks across the street. El Sapo does not acknowledge the cold! No matter how tempting whipped cream frappe coffee drink is...

He has been used to set up brutal coup's in South America, to foster conflict between governments and drug lords, bombings and assassinations. Anything that makes the world a little more scary place. Also I was told that Enhanced Attack costs 2 points, so Enhanced (Attack), 2 ranks worth, gives +1 Attack. Should I represent it as Enhanced (Attack) 1 [2PP] maybe? On the Language thing, is it 1 PP for a Language or 1 Skill Rank? Because right now I have skill ranks in there. His immunity is just to his own powers I guess, it was outside the mask earlier and I forgot to fix that.

  17. One thing, Deflect costs 1-3 points per rank. For 1 point per rank it can deflect slow moving physical projectiles (spears, batarangs, etc.), fast moving physical projectiles (bullets), or energy. For 2 points per rank it can deflect two of the above. For three points per rank it can deflect all three. Can I just say that I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out your formatting? I copy pasted it from the newbie guide but it's still kind of a pain. I built him on a Mythweavers sheet like I normally do with characters and then tried to translate him into this. Also since Deflect is the whole basis of the character and isn't as useful as I thought it would be I'm going to be putting this character on hold anyway.

    Ah so you not only lose any dodge bonus you bought on top of you normal defense bonus, but when surprised you actually lose half of your defense.     There is one aspect of Mutants and Masterminds that has always confused me. It being that "Half your defense bonus is dodge bonus." As 1 point of Defense bonus costs 2 points, does this mean that I alternate between Defense and Dodge, or that for every 2 points of Defense I buy I get one point of Dodge for free. Which would mean either... 1 Defense = 2 points 1 Defense, 1 Dodge = 4 points 2 Defense, 1 Dodge = 6 points 2 Defense, 2 Dodge = 8 points etc... or 1 Defense = 2 points 2 Defense, 1 Dodge = 4 points 3 Defense, 1 Dodge = 6 points 4 Defense, 2 Dodge = 8 points I've never really had a chance to ask and the book isn't very clear on the subject.
