  1. When the truck swerved into the parking lot, Angel went invisible to sight and sound. She had her prey cornered. It was time to deal some invisible ass kicking of justice!

As she waited to acertain what Midnight was going to do, she floated toward the blonde chick with the gun. Unless she was a powered individual herself, there was no way she could sense Angel from ten feet away. She kept her attention between Midnight and the blonde girl as she started her ginga. Gracefully moving backward and forth, her acrobatics mixed in with the dance...

  2. Angel caught the boxed juice and snickered. Surely they kept some orange juice or apple juice around here. She wasn't here for juice though. It was time to play some cards.

Nodding at the introductions, she knew not to pull out the cash until limits were set. "So, how much is the buy in? Any limits or are we going No Limit?"

  3. Hopping down from the Aeroboard with a somerault, Angel went invisible from sight and sound. She landed on another of the robed figure's shoulders. Wrapping her legs around the figure's throat, she tries to flip it over on his back while landing on it's chest.

  4. Maybe this wasn't as bad as she thought it was. It could use some sprucing up. Given it's prime location it could bring in more business if it didn't give off the whole 'skeezy' vibe. She stopped her train of thought there. She was thinking like her father. All she was here for was food, not business.

"Do you take credit," she asked as she reached into her pockets, ready to pay the man.

  5. Angel nodded and hopped up from the chair. Playfully beckoning the cowboy with one finger, she stepped over the small outdoor patio railing. Standing next to the machine, she rubbed her hands together looking at it with anticipation. She looked to Colt, "So, are we gonna do my lesson first or do you want that tour of the city?" She smiled as she slowly petted the seat, "I mean, it is your ride."

  6. Angel politely nodded as she remembered the first rule. Beware the nice ones. They're the ones with the sharpest teeth. "I'll have a juice." She sat down at the table looking at the crew.

She saw a big dude. He looked and sounded like one of those prankster types. The dealer. She was looking cool. The guy who offered her a drink. Nice of him. And Colt. They had been together for a week or two before they amicably split. Good thing too. She wouldn't have found out about this game.

"I'm Angel," she said confidently introducing herself. "One of you already knows that," she winked at Colt. "Who might the rest of you be?"

  7. Angel was riding discreetly tonight. She would not be busting up bad guys, but swimming with sharks. Poker sharks. Colt told her of the game. While not knowing much about the game everyone was crazy about these days, she did some research. It was simple enough. But a lot of games are simple. The sharks would make it hard.

She hoped she didn't bring too much cash. This type of neighborhood not withstanding. She didn't want to seem like a bully type player. The one with the most cash can make the most cash can make the most frivilous types of bets and the other players wouldnt find her fun. $5000 seemed like a nice round number.

She pulled into the garage and locked the car. It wasn't her Veyron, but still, she loved her Vanquish too. Walking up to the room she breathed a sigh of relief that no photographers had found her. Walking into the poker room, she greeted the group with a wave, "How's it goin, guys?"

  8. Angel had very little to do today. Nothing really. Then again, she really had nothing to do everyday. Though today was a no jumping through hoops type of day. All she had to do was kickback and enjoy the day until patrol tonight. But being a hero doesn't take a break apparently. As she drove aross the bridge to get to the post office, the skies turned red. People in robes like a renesance fair were directing demons. Real live demons! The demons were taking people out of their cars. Anger welled up inside of Angel. Quickly slipping on her mask and bracers and pulling her Aeroboard out of the backseat, she got out of the car before they got to her.taking to the sky she sped towards the robed figures blasting one with a burst of ray electricity. Words later. Asskicking now.

  9. "No thanks needed, least I could do," Angel said as she sat down, "Oh, I have nowhere to be right now." She sighed with a smile, "So, I have a favor to ask you in return for a favor from me. As I rode over here I couldn't help but think, forgive me if I'm wrong, that you weren't from around here. So, I'll give you a tour of the city if you teach me how that awesome machine out there works."

  10. Stupid board. Stupid laws of physics, Angel thought rashly with a growl, I need something faster. She could barely keep up with the ambulance now. To make it worse one of the bikers was swinging something at her! She decided to take her frustration out on his skull from above with a magically charged kick!

Floating a little bit above the biker, she did a handstand on the board. She grasped on to the side of it to hold on. With a mighty swing from above, the board flipped over with her hanging from it! Carrying though she aimed for the biker's head with both feet, intending to knock him off his bike. With fluid motion she and the board return to the upright position with her still in a handstand. Carttwheeling, she returned to her feet.

  11. Angel nodded quietly as if Colt could hear her. A second later she caught herself and answered him back, "Yeah, that'll be cool. So, I'm on my way to pick up the bike and I'll meet you there. See you then." Hanging up the phone she went back to driving.

The speed of the machine she was driving always got her in a focused state of mind. Going as fast as she could, skirting the speed limit in broad daylight. This is what she lived for.

Pulling into her uncle's garage. She saw that he was floating around slowly on the bike. It was like watching a demented child's ride with a grown up child riding it. She shook her head and snickered to herself as she got out of the car. "It's time, uncle Carl," she said looking up at him with a smile and her arms crossed.

"Aw, but it's awesome," he said floating down. "Got the schematics. Though the parts'll take some time to figure out. We'll have a working prototype by next Christmas."

Angel nodded and got on the bike. She had been in this postion once. Flying, if for a few seconds, was something she wanted to do again. Maybe Colt would let her do it. Then again, she had to get to him. "Love you," she said to her uncle as she started the bike, "Talk to you later." With that she sped off to meet with Colt.

When she arrived to the coffee shop (a little earlier than expected), Colt was easy to spot. Luckily nobody bothered her when she had the domino mask and bracers on. She always wondered if it was if they were supposed buy it to or if it actually fooled them. Such thoughts she put behind her as she walked over to Colt's table. "Howdy, cowboy."
