  1. Whoever it was, was the worst thief in the world. Moira walked towards the non-intruder, trying not to make any sudden movements.

"Now, see here, I'm in a good mood," Moira grinned, "I'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt and one good explanation to explain why I should let you go and not turn you into the police." She sat down in front of the would be planter with a wet squish.

  2. Nobody said being a superhero was easy, but this was the pits. Literally. The slime covered her from head to toe. She was glad no one was awake at this time of night to ask questions. Not to mention that the driver's seat was covered in it. This would take forever to get out.

Stepping out of the vehicle, she fumbled for her keys finally reaching the one for the door. She quickly walked toward her home. but someone was already there. A burglar? This was something she did not need.

She quickly walked towards the intruder and quiet as she could while soaked to the bone in the gunk. Still advancing to the porch, she let out a warning, "Whoever you are, I've had a tough night already. You don't want trouble over a few petty things."

  3. Moira smiled at Lynn's explanation for her heroics. Standing and picking up her drink, she smiles when the other woman mentions the pool game, "Don't be silly! Please join us. We'll get you better aquainted with the Morley's family yet!"

The two women made their way over to the game. "Lynn, this is Jeremy, David and Linda," Moira announces the players. "Guys, this is Lynn. She's here to join us for a few games, hopefully."

  4. Even though it was a second, falling made Moira think about a few things. The whole questioning why you do what you do thing was very apropos as that's why she came on this trip. Before she could finish the seven stages of grief she was rescued by her knight in shining armor.

Great, now he knows they're blue, she thought, quickly pulling down adjusting her dress to avoid an immodest scene. Moira blushed, "Yeah, sorry about that." Thinking alloud, she looked to her saviour with a smile, "This is suprisingly comfortable ... Um, I mean, we should probably try this again ... I mean not this, but the jumping thing ... I mean, if you want to keep doing this, it's perfectly fine"

  5. "A cape," Moira questioned with a modest laugh, "My dear, I am not the cape and costume type." Staring off for a split-second, she ponders what she would look like in Captain Thunder's geddup. She blinks confusedly at the thought. "But yes," Moira said returning to her smile, "I have done my fair share of good deeds. I guess word travels fast."

Looking around, she saw she was without drink, "Summer, keep em coming, for me and my friend here." Looking to Lynn, she nods, "Don't worry about the drinks. Their on me."

  6. Moira wanted this to be impressive. She wanted it to look good. Backing up to the other side of the roof, she got into a sprinter's position. She smiled to Emissary.

"Three two, one!" And she ran as fast as she could! From the crouching position she quickly went upwards. Catching sight of Emissary as she passed, she smiled. Taking her eye off for a split second was not the best for her predicament. By the time she refocused it was time to leap. Her reaction wasnt so much a leap as a stumble off the building and a slip off the ledge. A plummet, if you will, with an accompanying drawn out, "Oh crap!"

  7. My reasons for doing this: To show step back and show myself what I am doing. Too much, too little? I could have sworn someone told me to start another thread (please forgive me if I have forgotten you). Other people can play along too! :P

  8. Moira listened intently to every word the Emissary said, like she was taking notes for work and there would be homework and a test later. As he told her about looking into the alleyways, she did a check of the nearest one. Nothing down there, she thought.

"Boring," she questioned curiously, "how could this ever get boring? Even if there's no crime out there to fight, you get to be a shining beacon. Like you said, it's about giving hope to some guy who doesn't think it's worth it anymore."

Looking over to the other building and into the alleyway again, she nods to him.

  9. If Moira would have remembered to breathed she would have had a joyous outburst, but all she could do was stare in awe at the sights she saw while soaring through the air. This was something she probably never see again.

When they touched down Moira's adrenaline was working overtime. She jumped off of The Emissary's back with a bit of giddiness. Trying to hold back her excitement, she straightened herself up. The dress was wrinkled a bit, but she didn't care. She was about to learn stuff from a guy who knew his thing. Her new mentor?

She nodded to the Emissary when he spoke, "So, are you ready?"

  10. "Yes, I am Moira. Glad to meet you Lynn," she said greeting the girl.

"Thank you," Moira said with a bit of an impish smile, "Morley's has been around for a few generations. We have patrons that go way back." She sighs dreamily, "I grew up with a lot of these people." Coming back from the past, Moira blinked, "Excuse me, you probably know all this," she chuckled.

  11. The bartender listened to Lynn, watching the girl as she mixed the drink. Finishing her work as the girl started tearing up, she comforted the girl with a softly laid her hand on her hand. When the girl cheered up a bit, she smiled and let go. "Don't worry about the drink," she winked, "It's on the house."

"Hey, Summer," Moira said hopping on a barstool next to Lynn, "We need a full round over at the table." She handed the cash over to the bartender with her pointer and index finger.

"Sure thing, boss," she said taking the cash, "You gonna take it over there like usual?"

No sooner than Summer asked her question, Lynn spoke her piece to Moira. Moira blushed with a smile towards Summer, "No, you take it over there." Looking to Lynn a little bit more composed, she reached her hand out in greeting, "Well, you know me, but I do not have the honor of knowing you."

  12. The feeling in the pit of Moira's stomach got worse when the Master Mage gave her a stern look. She wondered if she had worn out her welcome. Like a child hiding behind a security blanket, she held O'Ren tighter.

Once the threat was gone, she whispered something into O'Ren's ear.

"I'm all for a group of people who stick together for protection purposes," Moira said loosening her grip on O'Ren and stepping from behind him. "My name is Moira Morley. I am a child of Aphrodite and Ares." She takes a pause for a small curtsey. "I also own a pub in the West End: Morley's. You guys are welcome there anytime."
