    History: As a crime fighter Shadow Man is virtually unknown. He has only been in existence a few times as Kurt and Rip work out their new identity. One of the first few transformations resulted in Shadow Man achieving high levels of power but it he lost control and it was the cause for his parents untimely death. Fearing another accident Shadow Man has held back his power and only wields a fraction of it. Kurt was almost sent to an orphanage when he received an invitation to Claremont Academy. It was explained to him that he would be taught how to control his powers there and that was an opportunity he could not pass up.

    Description: Kurt is an average looking teen.

    History: Kurt was a regular kid until one night when a mysterious black creature came into his life. Coming home from school one day he felt like he was being watched. When he got home the feeling continued until later that night when he was getting ready for bed the creature popped out and nearly gave him a heart attack. Strangely the little creature was not frightening but rather intriguing. Quickly the little being imparted knowledge of it's mental language Dark Mind. It then explained that it was a dark matter being and that it had fled from its realm to escape death. The two became inseparable from then on even after the accident in which they combined and caused the death of his parents. Following that event was a dark time in his life. Funeral and living arrangement nightmares assailed him. During this time he was contacted by Duncan Summers who had discovered the true cause of his parents accident and had assured him that his powers could be controlled given time and experience. With his parents life insurance and Mr. Summers help Kurt was accepted into Claremont Academy.

    History: Rip fled from his home realm where he would have been exterminated by Omega's armies. In a random chance of luck he happened upon Earth and his new friend Kurt. Living with Kurt Rip has enjoyed his exile and is increasingly growing attached to Kurt. Rip can hide inside Kurt which allows him to travel with Kurt anywhere virtually undetectable.

  2. Sentry soars threw the sky landing in front of Freedom Hall. Walking inside the receptionists greets him then "Hi, I'm Sentry. I'm here for the tryouts." Glancing around the room he waits for the receptionists answer before moving on.

  3. Ah the office, he thought to himself, Cant beat sitting in Millennium Mall. No one notices you in the throng of people. With his laptop sitting on the table before him Alexander scans the websites of local news stations looking for anything that's happening around the area. One of the stations has an article on modern technology that catches his attention. Skimming the article he realizes that it's only on new computer software he doesn't need and goes back to searching. DING the noise resounds in his head as the email alert comes through his datalink. Opening the message the text comes to him like he had thought it himself Possible hacker attack on client 27. Please advise. Focusing he brings up his remote client on his laptop and connects into client 27's mainframe. Looking up the alert code he mentally notes the ports and code that attempted to access their mainframe. Tracing it back from its end point to its origin the trail goes dead at a local cyber cafe. Dang kids he pops the email back up and sends a response False alarm. Nothing to worry about. Back to news surfing then...

  4. Mind Shield is effective against Mental Effects. It'd help with Mind Control, yes, as well as Telepathy/Mind Reading, Mind Switch, Possession, Emotion Control, and Mental Blasts.

    It would not help against things like Intimidation (though his high Sense Motive does help him here), interaction skills or feats based on them (like Fascinate, though his high Sense Motive does help him here), the Fearsome Presence feat (though his Fearless protects him from that), straight up tests of willpower (like, say, if he and someone else were fighting over control of some mentally-controlled thing), and a few other things I cannot think of right now.

    In that case it works perfectly for what I intended. I can only imagine what ideas invoke the need for a devil emoticon. lol

    I've only been playing M&M since June 08 but I have played D&D, oWOD, nWOD, Rifts, Exalted, D20 Modern, And Star Wars SAGA for quite some time. I have GM'd a couple games from each setting and I'm currently running a Hero High game over at the ATT.

    I enjoy Anime, Movies, Sci fi, Reading (Mostly fiction), computer related stuff.

  6. Where the cloned parts came from I'm happy to leave open as a plot point. Could be very interesting.

    Fixed all the mentioned things. One question though. I'm not sure Mind Shield is going to to what I intended. What exactly is it going to block? My thought was that being a positronic brain it would be highly resistant to say a regular pyschic trying to control his mind or soething similar because it's essentially a super computer powered by a micro-singularity.

    Description: Alexander is tall man. Standing at six feet nine inches he easily towers over the average man. Being artificially created his exterior body was made to be particularly handsome by human standards. When fighting as Sentry his nanites cover him in a black and blue shell giving him an armored appearance.

    History:

    Alexander is the creation of Daedalus and Galatea. After Talos and Galatea's son Argos became just as disgruntled and inhuman as his father Galatea rejected both. After discovering more about Talos' past and Daedalus' involvement she approached him seeking to create a new son who would not become a monster. After many aggressive debates Daedalus agreed to help her create a new son, but under the circumstances that he would be allowed to install certain fail safes and to add what he considered needed programming. Agreed they both began the process of developing a new model. Using the same micro-singularity as Argos had they added a positronic brain and super-alloy skeleton, but for a body they chose to use human flesh and blood. Using cloned parts they grafted the body onto the super-alloy skeletal frame. The final result was android outwardly human looking android with an infinite power supply and brain capable of learning and growing. Unlike Argos who had powers but utilized them with only a brute force mentality this new creation could grow and indeed was programmed with enhanced combat ability. To ensure that it could never be used against them a power down phrase was hard coded into the positronic brain. In the event the android turned on them they could power it down safely.

    His effective maturity is that of a someone in his late twenties even though he was brought online only 3 years ago. Alexander has come to learn many things about life and himself. For one he has learned that his mothers purpose was to create a new son, but Daedalus' was to create an answer to the problem of Talos and eventually Argos. Though not powerful enough to stop them yet he learns and grows constantly.

    Currently Alexander works as an at home computer consultant. His powers and knowledge make him quite the professional when it comes to computer troubles. As often as he can he seeks out new challenges to learn about his powers. He also is constantly redesigning and structuring himself to be more efficient and powerful.
