Earthbender throws himself back but his left arm and leg get caught. "Once the eagle was tempted..."
A slight tremor shook the entire bridge and a wedge of hardened mud shoots out of the water. "...the tortoise struck"

So Lop Nar is initiating a grapple Michael. Then the minion aids adding +2 making the total difficulty 22.
Uses free action to prepare Drain.
That's it for this round.

"Apparently someone's reach exceeds their grasp. Let me show you how it's done," laughs the black figure.
Tendrils of goo whip out from his body towards Michael, attempting to pull him towards the black figure
The woman also throws her head back in laughter although no sound escapes. From what you can see of her she doesn't look amused at all. She runs up to Michael and pushes him attempting to drive him further into the grapple.

Free action- Switch to Create Earth option
Standard Action- Create full cover fortification or 90% cover, there are some cracks in between the sections he can see out of.
Move action - Put up additional shield of levitating rubble to provide extra protection.
I'm turtling for a round basically.

"No.... not like this. As the tortoise met the eagle...." He muttered to himself. He slammed his fists into the ground and then hugged himself. Eight slices of bridge pulled free and wrapped into a sphere around him, like an orange peeling in reverse. Severed sections of the steel rebar inside the concrete jutted out of the walls like lace. Free chunks of rubble lift off the ground and start to rotate around this fortification.

I spend a hero point to reroll the toughness save against that attack.
Standard Action: I then use my mind control on the woman and succeed
Move Action: I give her an order to attack Michael.

"Someone wants to play hero". He pulls the woman back away from the edge and the inky black of whatever is on his body flows down his arm and around the womans body. I totally botched my concentration check. I was accurate in saying my shield was shattered.
