This is little more solo thread and it is mostly dealing with Super Thug's daily life when he is not doing any criminal activity.

Ben Popkin or better known as Super Thug are inside a broken down apartment with cheap rent. He is currently wearing his unclean t-shirt with ripping jeans while sitting down his dirty chair. His job as criminal don't went very good lately because most superheroes interrupting his robbery and he become poorer and poorer. He drinking his beer as he watching at the television that show his favorite program Jail Life that shows the life of prisoner. Suddenly his tv just shutting itself and she was real angry about it, he simple rising up from his chair and he tried to turn it on again. But it will not work even he try it many time until he become so furious that he smashed the tv with his bare fist.

"STUPID TV! STUPID HEROES!" He screamed in furious and then he throw out the broken tv out from the window.

He sitting down his chair again and picking up the newspaper that he have recently bought today. He try to read it but that are not many thing he could understand except that he notice a advertisement where a supermarket in the Fens are selling cheap beers. He remember that he don't have much beer left in the fridge so that he decided to go to the supermarket to buy beers. He jumping off from the chair and putting on his black jacket.

He left his apartment as he walking on the street, he notice that he walking on the same street where he did his first robbery when he was 16 year old. He could fly or move very fast to the supermarket but he is careful showing his powers when he is not wearing his costume, because he don't want face cops or superheroes right now.

Not de-aging him or anything like that to have him be in the Shadow Academy?

I have thinking about de-aging and putting him in Shadow Academy, but it seems that are not many who have teenage villains who join in the Shadow Academy. And also I have tried to figure out how to de-aging him but it ended up little strange or out of character. So I decided to keep him as "good" old villain.

And yes, I want to keep his intelligence at 8 because he is not a thinking type and he is little like Rhino who simple charge in into his enemies. If you read his background, you can understand why he have int of 8. Example that he is stupid enough to jumping off the building without making sure he will fall down something soft.

But anyway, I have fixed his stats now.

I see, it will become rarely to use mecha in Freedom City. I have had a idea to make mecha pilot hero but it seem that I have to scrap that idea. But I still have other ideas for new heroes.

Ben become addicted to those drugs because he want to feel the thrills of great powers and being more superior than normal people.

After the Moor Act was ended, the mafia family he was working for become arrested and put into the jail. Ben was lucky enough to escape from being arrested and bringing with much of designer drugs with him. In many years, he become a hired muscles who do any criminal acts while he tried to earn enough money to buys drugs like MAX or Zoom.

One day when he and other criminals tried to rob the bank, they accidentally flunked with the robbery so that bunch of cops have arrived to the scene. When Ben become panic, he take heavily overdose of MAX and Zoom drugs at same time to gain super powers but instead he fall into deep coma. After he fall in coma, he was brought in hospital and went through medical examination. In middle of examination, his body suddenly growing with muscles and mass until he become fulled awake. The medical personal was confused by Ben´s condition and Ben don´t waste any moment to flee from the hospital.

As he tried to escape from the hospital, he was chased by the cops. Because of Ben was chased, he started to run to the roof without thinking about it. When Ben was arrived at the roof, he was surrounding by the cops and he don´t find any other escape route. With his last desperation effort, he jumped off from the building and hope that he will fall down something soft but sadly his poor judgment leading to his own death until he suddenly fly into the sky.

After he discovery his new-found powers, he fly back to his hideout and started to experimented with his powers in many weeks until he realized that he finally got powers that seem to be permanent. After he finally got permanent powers he decided to become a supervillain and donned a suit as he call himself as Super Thug. He made some successful robbery thank to his superpowers and he become overconfidence to his powers so much that he foolish attacking the Freedom League until he realized that he was in completely different league. He was send to the prison Black Stone and he was jailed until he with other super criminals escaped from the Black Stone. Now he become more careful about dealing with powerful heroes and tried to find a way to increased his powers.

Personality & Motivation: He is quit greedy person who want to live in luxury life and want to feel more superior than other normal peoples. Through his life have learned that he should take something that he don´t own and he should avoid trusting anybody unless he don´t have any choice.

He feel very thrilled to have super powers and used them to his own gain, but he is not truly with his current power levels so that he become obsession to become even more powerful and gained new powers that may help him. He is not very bright person so that he sometime make poor judgments and he prefers to let other make thinking for him.

Powers & Tactics: He mostly got body enhanced that improved his strength and toughness so that it making him more powerhouse. Lately he tried to improve his kinetic powers that give him flight ability, speed movement and become very immovable. His fighting tactic is quit simple, beating down his enemies until they no longer could stand up. He prefer using a offensive attacks than defense because he think that offensive is best kind of defense. He sometime use shockwave or super-breath to clean up mass of people when needed. If it real goes bad for him, he simple use the most oldest tactic, retreat. If he can't possibly escape, he will not hasten to use hostage to escape.

After the release of Mecha And Manga (in pdf), I wondering if mecha rules can be used in Freedom City? Because Doc Otaku and few villains use mecha to cause mayhem and destruction to their enemies.

I have finally decide to play again and want to rechange my old character to keep up with the new current rules (Because my old one have higher impervious toughness rank than pl).

Hmm... If I gonna use Super Thug for Shadow Academy... He should be younger because he is little too old being a student unless he accidentally used drugs that turning him into a teenage...

Man, that was about one year ago that I visited this forum... The reason I was not active on this forum is because of my life, works and that I start to lose interesting playing pbp...

Recently, Nyarth have convinced me that I should come back to this forum again, so I decided to check it out and see how much it have changed all those years. Right now I´m trying to think about if I should try playing here again.

I made reflex save to see he avoid the sonic dazzle.

Master_Pelle, ManBat's Sonic Blast calls for a DC 21 Toughness save. His Sonic Dazzle calls for a DC 16 Reflex save (and then a DC 1 Fort save to shake it off).

He could still feel the fear and pain but but inside of himself told him not to give up and he real want to put down the Labyrinth once for all. Through his will, he finally shaking of both of his fear and pain. Through his experience with working with Targette, she need a sight of his target and her powers grow stronger when somebody hurt her. The best plan is to hide himself and knocking her out without hurting her.

With his best effort, he tried to move into the cover where she can longer see him.

Reflexion screamed in pain as he feel the powerful mind shock and he finally realize who it was. It was Targette, a agent from Labyrinth who he have worked with before when he was known as Deathbringer.

Which Labyrinth folks has he dealt with? Actual named folks from the FC setting book, or just rank-and-file types?

If you have read my character´s background, he has worked with Payback, Sidetrack and Targette in some mission while he was brainwashed.

I pre-ordered it from Amazon and got it a couple days after it officially came out. I like the system so far, and I've even been working on making up a decent Barbarian class. Anyone who's interested in what I've been doing can check it out at http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=400868.

By looking at it, the barbarian should have higher hp and healing surge. The barbarian is like fighter but with more hit points like in 3.5 version where they acting like as violence meat tank.

By the way, It have been told about the barbarian class may be released in next year in Player´s Handbook 2.

I self got all those core books and I must say I like the rules but it almost required to have figures with battlegrid if you want to have to take advantage of tactical combat.

But a good thing when I bought those book at release date, is that I got a voucher where I can get a free character record and GM screen when they release them.

I have planning to buy some Dnd miniatures and game tiles. But for now I will use printed out black and white battlegrid and made paper token as minis.

For MnM, even it is based on D20 system it is completely different system from regular D20 system so that it become own system. So that why it don´t have any D20 logo like as other D20 system games. So it is unlikely it will be effected by the new GSL.

If you wondering why Reflexion suddenly attack Manbat is because that Manbat just scared him and also he don´t know that he is not a villain. I hope that you don´t take it personality.

Reflexion got a nasty bruise on his left arm even he is wearing his armored jumpsuit. As he tried to continue fighting, he suddenly saw the humanoid bat creature barging in and giving out fearful presence so that everybody was scared. He could feel the light shake on his arms. Pulling by his fear, he throw his baton at Man-Bat.

The name of Wildcard is already took by a npc villain of FC setting.

Man... I must be quit unlucky with the dices...
