  1. The large gate house is a bustle of electronic activity. There appear to be 360 degree rotating cameras. Two guards in the gatehouse at all times. There are 4 guards patrolling the grounds at regular intervals. The house itself has some rather obvious looking camera's at corners, as well as one looking at the main door. The home looks like this in the daytime:

The windows appear to be heavy, but there are a lot of them.

(OOC-Behind the main two wings, there is a central courtyard, and a third wing which more or less boxes it in. There is a pool and garden patio between all three wings. )

  2. "We just can't catch a break, Teenage Caveman," she says.

"Indeed. It seems as though those of the more heroic persuasion always interject themselves where they are not desired, Calendar Girl," the ape-man, Teenage Caveman, answers. Despite his savage appearance, his voice is deep and cultured, vaguely British upper-crust.

The two of them look around, trying to spot the source of the levitation. Teenage Caveman sees a man in a mask, and assumes (correctly) that he is the source of the problem. He reacts by leaping from the car, landing about 10 feet away from Teke. His jump was clearly superhuman, as he cleared over 20 feet in height alone. Calendar Girl doesn't seem to be doing anything at the moment. She is still sitting at the driver's seat of the convertible.

Woah! No need to get angry Teen-age cave....man. You were just driving a little erratically. I was just trying to help you gain control of your vehicle. Seth was a little out of his element...too much going on too soon. "Not looking for a fight. Just wanting to be a good Samaritan. I can put the car down at any time. It's not damaged at all."

  5. Sean, who has been quiet through this exchange, speaks up.

"I didn't hear her say anything. And nobody said anything about babbling. I really think we ought to go to ASTRO Labs soon, before my camera guy gets even more suspicious than he already is. Let's see, when the Terminus Invasion happened, you guys were how old?"

He shakes his head as he does the math and gets a bad answer.

I'm sure I didn't read anyone's mind. But I'm also sure we should go to Astro Labs like now. How much cash do we have between the 4 of us? I have like 47-48 dollars.

  8. The faltering of the Roc form didn't bode well. It was huge, which meant it should have been able to soak a lot of punishment, but the Freedom leaguer was already fading out of mental contact.

Seth flew down...down till he was about 50 feet in front of Maestro. "Hey...Old Man. You sound off key to me. Or maybe your music is just banal and lacking in emotional narrative. I could teach you a thing or two if you wanted."

Seth mentally reconfigured his shield to respond to soundwaves. They would reflect right off of him. Right back to their source. This fool may take himself down. If that didn't work, Seth would have to open himself up to attack, but he was pretty positive that he could rip that baton from his hand with ease.
