The Emissary and Celestia flew across downtown Freedom, skimming the tops of the tallest buildings. Everything seemed normal: safe, clean, brilliant. Celestia gasped when the they cleared the last set of tall building and the bay came into view.
"It's so pretty!" she yelled to the Emissary. "I love this part of the city!"

Celestia and the Emissary took off together to continue their patrol of downtown Freedom.
Hopefully the rest of the patrol would be uneventful...

I don't know that it would work very well with heroes, but an agents/normals vs. zombies would be great. You could run it as one of those "what if" threads.

Every message board needs one of these threads.
No surprises with mine.

Celestia waited at the street with the rescued woman. When help finally arrived she helped her into the back of the ambulance.
"Take care of yourself," Celestia said as they were shutting the ambulance doors.
With the bad guys in cuffs and the would-be victim safely on her way to the hospital, Celestia turned to the Emissary. "That was easy," she said sounding almost relieved. "Where to now?"

Droplet dug around in the magical girl's closet until she found something suitable to wear: a pair of jeans and a sweater. Droplet was still pretty wet, so pulling them on was a struggle, and twice she nearly fell over in the closet. Finally, when she was dressed, Droplet announced, "I'm hungry. We should get some food." She turned to Darla and grinned. "Whacha got to eat?"

Droplet's reunion with her parents is going to be pretty much a one man show anyway. We can handle that off panel if you want. I say wake him up, and enjoy the chaos that ensues.

Since you're going to have to make the scenarios and the maps and such anyway, why not a little zombie action here? Freedom City goes post-apocalyptic? Could be fun. :D

That works for me. I'll ask her today if she's feeling up to it.

Why not turn the stuff from the Zombie Skype game into a T20 soldier vs. zombies battle-mat game?
You could use premade character sheets, and run several groups through three or four maps in a day. Then maybe a big finale.
I'd play that. :)
