Been a player in RPGs since I found AD&D in 1979; became a devotee of superhero RPGs since the Marvel Super Heroes Basic Set came out in 1984. Spent 8 years in City of Heroes, the cancellation of which has left a void no other MMORPG has been able to fill. Enjoyed some sporadic play-by-email games, mostly in the Star Trek universe, since that seems to be by far the most popular setting. I did purchase the M&M 2e rules years ago, but my gaming group never got into it, so it's remained largely unused on my shelf.
