TheAbsurdist
OOC for Here. Can I get a Notice check please. DC 17? Link to comment
Heritage
1d20+10=15 Well, it is pouring rain, after all; might reduce visibility a bit. Link to comment
Heritage
Whoops, miscommunication here! I had Gretchen currently under the awning on the street, having gotten the extra bag in the past tense. I can change my post to match yours, though. Link to comment
Heritage
Forgive me for not posting in this thread for a while, but I must admit to being vexed; I don't need to know what you have planned, but I just want to make sure you have a plan. I'm sorry if that sounds dickish, but just writing reaction posts for someone who pathologically underreacts is not as fun as it sounds, at least for me. Heritage
By any chance is Gretchen's Danger Sense going off? it's visual based, so I can understand if the door blocks it. Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
This would not trigger. But, it's a fight in a small bathroom, and it sounds vicious enough that she'd be certain that Stavros probably can't handle it. Link to comment
Heritage
Clearly Gretch is using her Move Object to knock the door open; not sure if any kind of roll is needed, but obviously she's not using anywhere near her full Strength 50 to open it. Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
She can exert sufficient strength to not need a roll, the only question is she opening the door inward or outward. Link to comment
Heritage
Oh, well she would look at the hinges and see which way it opens; if it opens outward, I can change the post to reflect her pulling it open. Link to comment
Heritage
I mean, if she thinks she's gonna hurt someone on the other side, she could push the door open rather then slam it. Link to comment
TheAbsurdist
Okay, I will describe the door opening. Her visual Danger sense will kick in, so she wont be flat footed and can dodge as needed. But two people are coming out fast, with her an Stavros fast, and she'll react first. Link to comment
Heritage
Well now! My first thought is to separate the combatants until we know what the hell is going on; this would involve initiating a grapple with the Ring of Power's Move Object 10. Even though the yuppie is the one holding the knife, and therefore the more dangerous weapon, presumably the guy in the hockey mask is the aggressor, so Gretchen would then dodge and activate the power, probably just levitating Mr. Voorhees up to the ceiling. TheAbsurdist
Given the focus of the thread and that basically Voorhees is currently occupied, she grabs and pins him to the ceiling. It is a high ceiling, so it places him out of nominal reach. Can I get a Notice check at DC25 due to attention being a bit scattered? Link to comment
Heritage
Sorry, forgot to roll this for you. Notice check: 1d20+19=25 On the nose! Link to comment
