A Most Unusual Opportunity

Recommended Posts

This isn't done that often around here, but I'm going to give it a shot. I have this build thread, Eternal Phoenix's Character Factory and Archetype Blendarama. It's been very busy over the years. However, all of the builds have come more or less from my own mind. Part 9 is up to 20 builds, with 10 left before being posted. And while I certainly could simply come up with the remaining ten all on my own, I thought it would be more interesting if I took it to the people. The link's up there. I've built tons, but perhaps I've missed your favorite powerset? Or perhaps there's a blend you'd like to see? Or a character from some form of media (TV, movies, video games) you'd like to see statted out?

The only rules are that these are strictly PL 10 150pp builds (power limitations and all) and I retain the right to just say "Nah, I'm not interested in that one." Special note: A and B list DC folks and Marvelites are pre-emptively denied as is everyone from the former Big Three of Shonen Jump (those being One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach). Both groups are fairly well represented in the traditional archetypes themselves, and on the Atomic Think Tank Archive. Other than that, hit me.

For the record, those slots were filled and posted a while back. But now, for Part 12, I'm taking nigh unlimited requests. The thing is, I'm also building my own for it, and there's a hard 30 build limit. 5 have already been built, and since this time I'm posting every time five are finished...let me get outta here.

Well, then. Part 14 is upon us. The theme this time is bad guys. Villains. Tell me what kind of bad guy you'd like to see built. I'll also accept something esoteric, meaning the idea technically meets caps but is otherwise entirely about some kind of out of combat utility.

Evil Robin, someone who learned both Batman's skills of psychological warfare and honed an acid tongue to a lethal point. Acrobatic and hard to pin down, which is good 'Cause they can' t take much before they fall. Gimmick weapon in the form of a winged harness allowing mild flight and extendable blades.

A team of villainous Pekinese in a trenchcoat/giant golfing robot.

The theme is Villains and Non Combat Focused. Could do both, but could you elaborate?

Ok so if you've seen "now you see me" the magicians are the good guys. But it might be interesting to have a thief who uses stage magic (sleight of hand and maybe some kind of suggestions), master plan, and maybe some gadgets to pull off seemingly magical feats.

I have not see either one, but I've done that before: http://www.freedomplaybypost.com/topic/7522-eternal-phoenixs-character-factory-and-archetype-blendarama/?page=9#comment-244081

A Were-Elephant who is also a vampire!

How is that a Villain, someone Non-Combat Focused, or both?

The Critic. Non-violent doesn't always mean happy! Uses criticism to mentally lockdown his opponent. Meant to be a non-violent, but hey, maybe a villain to some people! If a villain, throw in something that makes his opponent look bad and himself look better.

Evil Dolphin

Evil genius with a sonic attack, maybe sound based mind control, and hydrokinetics! Props if he is actually a dolphin who floats around in a watery shell.

How about a nautically themed villain... that isn't a super-fast swimmer... in fact, she can't swim!
