Most of the festival goers had fled, and the few that Byzantine could still see were in the process of fleeing. Fortunately for all, there didn't seem to be any Halloween menaces running about, and other than the mild carnage at the tent, there didn't appear to be any injuries among the "normals" in the area. Off in the distance, the heroes could hear the approaching sirens of FCPD. All seemed to be quiet, and then . . . Jayden noticed several costumed heroes (he immediately recognized Freedom Eagle even at this distance) rising high into the sky quite a few blocks away. They were carrying a giant carcass of some sort. At this distance it was impossible to make out the details. Agnes, however, noticed something else entirely. Link to comment

"Get everyone back to the church," she said to Mr. Zodhiates. "I'll meet you there in a few minutes." Agnes closed here eyes and concentrated really hard. Immediately she was surrounded by the glowing light again, and this time broad, majestic wings formed at her back. As fast as she could think it, Agnes found herself in the air, speeding toward the approaching figure. Link to comment
