Heridfel
Well, it looks like I'm an Ubuntu user, only without the custom themes. Yeah, I use Windows Vista. But it's Windows Vista Ultimate, so that's better, right? Link to comment
Barnum
In the world of Linux users, that puts you at the bottom of the food chain . . . right below Windows ME users. I actually run Ubuntu and XP about equally. My computer won't run Vista. Too old. :( Link to comment
Heridfel
Pfft. People love to hate new Windows systems. ME has the worst reputation looking back, but XP was pretty unpopular during its first year after release. I had Vista pre-installed, so I had no reason to uninstall it for XP. I still have XP on my old, nearly dead laptop. It's still nearly dead, but it does run... eventually. Link to comment
Barnum
Yeah, and many Linux users are extra hatey. I love XP. My only complaint is that it is a resource hog, especially compared to Linus. Link to comment
Dr Archeville
I ran Windows ME on my comp for nearly three years, never had a single problem with it. Was using XP for the past few years, now I'm on Vista (came pre-installed on the new comp I got for X-Mas). Only problems I've had with Vista are that it's incompatible with certain game installers (It can't/won't install Freedom Force or Stubbs the Zombie ). On the plus side, I'm finally able to play Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion :) Link to comment
spectrevk
My laptop has been running Ubuntu for a couple of months. My desktop has XP, but I took an old HD and installed Ubuntu just to play around. Link to comment

Dr Archeville
I was able to install Freedom Force on my computer with XP So could I. My problem is not being able to install it on my new Vista computer. Link to comment
Barnum
Only problems I've had with XP are that it's incompatible with certain game installers That is a common complaint I've heard with Vista. In fact, it seems to be the complaint I hear. Link to comment
