Heritage
Just to be clear, is Grim supposed to be a Merge at this point? Is that what we agreed upon? Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Either works H, I know it went back and forward a little at the planning stage . Link to comment

Tiffany Korta
Baron's Initiative: 1d20+7 17 So we have 27 Grim 17 Baron 14 Starlight Grim to start. Link to comment
Heritage
Alright, I want to try something with Grim which I think I did once a long time ago. Grim knows from her previous encounter with the Duke that if you drop one of his bodies, he just jumps to another, so she wants to hit all of them at the same time. This means stunting either an Area effect or Burst off of her Create Object, targeting multiple Dukes via her Accurate Hearing. What this looks like in play is Grim closing her eyes, concentrating for a few seconds, and then suddenly creating several smaller heavy objects (say sandbags like you see in old theaters) over the heads of each Duke several feet in the air, only for then to then plummet and bean them all. It probably won't take them all out, but it may drop a few of them; what say you, Tiff? Edited November 11, 2015 by Heritage Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Well Grim's been around long enough to know each Duplicator is different, but sure it's a reasonable idea to attempt. Link to comment
Heritage
http://orokos.com/roll/343990 Okay, so Grim is going to activate her Rage and just start wreckin' the joint; when she's enraged, the Toughness Save is DC27. Claw Attack: 1d20+12=31 - yikes! EDIT: She will utilize the Takedown feat if it applies. Edited November 16, 2015 by Heritage Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
As he's using Merge's build so a 50% miss chance, we'very decided he'll get hit on a 1 Miss Chance: 1d2 2. Many duplicates shall suffer so he survives! Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Duke's pile up on Rage!Grimm Attack Roll: 1d20+8 13, and they didn't manage to do anything. Blue Starlight is up! Link to comment
R. Bluefish
Starlight will use her Shapeable Blast to strike as many Dukes as she can, making sure to avoid hitting Grim or the mirror. It's Targeted, so attack roll: Laser Beam vs. Dukes: 1d20+10 20 That's +8 damage for a DC 23 Toughness save, and a maximum of 16 5-ft cubes affected. Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
Dukes save Toughness Save: 1d20+8 26, so he okay. Grim is up! Link to comment
Heritage
Okay, Grim is going to try and sniff out the real Duke by finding the one that doesn't have any of Merge's smell on it. My first attempt yielded an 18, which I doubt is high enough to find him, so I'm going to blow an HP (which I think I still have?) on a reroll and hope for the best. Wow; okay, since I rolled a whole point better and got a frickin' 19, I believe I add 10 which brings it up to 29? Is that enough to spot him? Edited November 29, 2015 by Heritage Link to comment
Heritage
Okay, so Grim is going into 'animal cunning' mode; she's going to use Acrobatic Bluff to make it look like she's going for one of the phoney Dukes, then pivot at the last second and strike the real one! Acrobatic Bluff check: 1d20+20=36 Attack Roll: 1d20+12=30 "It was super effective! " Edited December 5, 2015 by Heritage Link to comment
Tiffany Korta
No way he can even hope to fool that bluff, plus being very over confident he's going to get hit! Toughness save Toughness Save: 1d20+8 13. And he's out. We'll carry this on in a new thread, The Box of delights, so if you want to give a closing post and we'll move there! Link to comment
