They found Kashima and the new arrival engaged in hand-to-hand rooftop combat when they arrived on the scene, the two seeming to grapple each other while shouting insults amid the lightning. The drones were flashing around and trying to zap the electrical humanoid in combat with their master, but their little jolts of electricity didn't seem to be damaging him directly.

<Blasphemous worm!> Kashima was shouting. <You were cast out from the Heavens and you think you can come here! You'll be sent back to the world from whence you came!>"

<Blood-soaked abomination!> shouted back his electrical rival. <I'll burn your sins from your dead flesh, and take your name back where it belongs!>

Net Fly flew towards the two dueling supers. This could get real tricky, real fast. Well, the first step towards intervening is identifying the hostile party. Serge thought, recalling his days at the Claremont Academy. Interposing himself between the two, Net Fly attempted to make contact with them, in the hopes of calming them down, or at least figuring out who to punch. He made sure that he kept his hands raised in a calming manner, to signify that he did not wish for things to escalate. "Excuse the interruption, my fellows. Me and my friends here wish to ensure that your display here causes no harm to the innocent folk living in these parts. Please, stand down. Whatever the cause for your disagreement is, we will attempt to help you resolve it, without any unnecessary damage. If, however, you do not comply, we will intervene with force." It was at this point, that Net Fly realised that he may not be getting through to them, due to the language barrier. He then tried operating the language converter, that he'd made the other day, and had attached to the Vibro-Suit's Net Harness. Okay, let's try this again. He thought to himself, as he proceeded repeating his words, this time in the hope that they were getting properly translated in Japanese.

"NO MORE INTERFERENCE!" declared Kashima as a flash of energy erupted from his body in a ball of electrically-charged light that swept out across both the heroes and the foe in which he was engaged in fierce battle. "Neither false gods nor false heroes will keep me from the salvation of this city!" Hovering in mid-air, he seemed a god himself, energy crackling along his armor and through his opaque eye-slits. He looked ready to grab Net Fly and hurl him into space if necessary as he closed to the battle.

"Get out of the way, young fool!" declared the being he was fighting with, a tone of stentorian command directed directly at Net Fly. "Can't you see this is a battle to the DEATH?"

Grim rolled her eyes as the two local supers exchanged insults; and here she thought American metas were overdramatic! But then the blast of energy swept out from Kashima, and she had to swoop and dive out of the way. Now thoroughly pissed, she returned to full size and gracefully dropped to the rooftop, where she defiantly crossed her arms and shouted over at the powersuited 'hero'.

"Sure, some savior; it's easy to save your city...if you're the one who put it in danger in the first place!" Then she scowled and took a menacing step forward. "Where'd you get all the blood from, Kashima?"

Whilst Triakosia couldn’t understand what they were actually saying she could quite easily figure out the intent of their actions. And it didn’t look good for them or anyone around them, this was something that needed shutting down quickly. If they couldn’t fight then maybe cooler heads could prevail.

Taking her best guess at where the effect would fall, trying her very best to avoid Netfly, she bought her hands together with all the force her muscles could muster. The compression of the air sent a booming shockwave towards the two fighting Japanese powers.

Honestly, Net Fly had prepared himself for the outburst. Rarely does trying to talk things out work, in this line of work. Still, Kashima's electrical outburst enveloped Net Fly before he could get out of dodge, and the electrical surge temporarily overwhelmed his motor functions, sending him falling a few tens of feet downward, before wrestling back control of his own body.

"Arggg...." Gritting his teeth, Net Fly tried to fight off the pain he felt. "God.... dammit, that hurt! How stubborn can you be?" Taking a good aim at Kashima, the young hero crossed his arms, producing sonic vibrations and feeding them directly into the megaphone carapace he wore on his chest. "Fine, then. Wanna play hardball?" When the megaphone had stored up enough sonic energy, Net Fly uncrossed his arms, allowing for the accumulated sonic energy to violently erupt from his chestpiece in the shape of a beam, hitting the thunder-hurling hero and blasting him away from the other super, with whom Kashima had been interlocked in battle. "Let's hardball!"

The great amount of energy he expended took some of Net Fly's wind out of him, and as he let his arms hang, he called to Triakosia and Grimalkin "Yeah, let's beat these two guys to submission and be done with it, before they cause any more damage."
