The antibody left facing Kharag let out an electronic shriek directly in the warrior's face as it grabbed its dismantled kin from his grip and threw the corpse to the the bulkhead floor. Staggering from his exertions, the Praetorian could only grit his teeth in defiance as the blasphemous drone lashed out, digging its oxidized metal claws into the flesh just above his rib cage. The deadly appendages sunk in to the knuckle while bits of necrotized tissue flew like phlegm from the antibody's mouth to splatter against green-blue skin.

Across the room the second antibody forewent going after its original target to race single-mindedly toward the Kahi'iru archer. Originally belonging to some species not nearly so large but with horrific cybernetics more than compensating, it rammed into Sei's sternum, trying to knock her into the floor. It's uneven talons sought out her sides, clawing madly at her environmental suit.

At least her arrow had grabbed the creature's attention. It abandoned its precvious task to charge straight at her. The hit was hard enough to nearly knock the wind from her and cause Seika to move backward, her feet shuffled to keep her upright. Instead of fighting it, she let the momentum carry her, pulling her out of the reach of those deadly claws.

She reached back and pulled another arrow. One, two steps taken before it was properly knocked and aimed right for the creature in front of her. Part of her felt bad for it. Whatever process it had undergone had horrifically doformed not only it's body but clearly its mind as well.

It made it easier to loose the arrow. Easier knowing that when the arrow flew true, pierced straight through it's center, that she was putting it out of it's misery. That no others would be hurt.

Kharag screamed in pain as the metallic claws sank into his flesh, completely disregarding whatever protecting his skin normally could grant. Normally Kharag could make it so his skin would be inpenetrable to swords and arrows, but this wasn't Za'ak and the sharp claws of the communed creature were clearly far superior to simple obsidian and steel arrows. The alien warrior coughed some purple blood from the internal damage.

Enraged by the act, Kharag roared and using the side of his hand he separated the clawed arm from his body by severing it. Then proceeded to headbutt the metallic creature at full force. The resulting impact proved to be quite unpleasant for both. A loud clanging noise echoed in the ship.

There were several moments of relative silence as the last antibody hit the floor, the front of its skull visibly concave. Pained whimpers from injured refugees and gurgling death throes bubbling up from the cyborg horrors Sei had shot with arrows echoed faintly throughout the cargo bay but after the clamour of desperate battle and terrified screams the bloodied Za’akis and Kahi'iru may as well have been dropped into sensory deprivation chambers with nothing but their own racing pulses pounding in their ears.

"Attention, this-- *hkkah* this is Samran-86," the intercom spoke up finally, breaking the momentary pause. The Lor mentat's voice was strained with obvious pain even after the electronic distortion. "All... nnh. All boarders have been repelled."

Hearing Samran-86's broadcast, Paradigm's posture relaxed ever so slightly. With no more immediate threat, the Naram turned her attention to any injured Lor near the airlock, providing what basic first aid she could. "Be sure to seek what additional medical assistance might be aboard." She added before she glided down the hallway back up to the bridge.

"Elite, continue to scan the nearby area for anymore Communion ships." Paradigm transmitted over to her teammate, who had returned to the Devotion after the destruction of the Communion cruiser.

"We have managed to clear space of any Communion for the moment Captain." She stated as she arrived at the bridge. "What is the status of the repairs?"

As if on cue, Ana limped onto the bridge, half her torso covered in large patches of blood-streaked ice. "We've got FTL back online; shields will take a little longer." She held up a gauntleted hand in greeting, which she instantly regretted as she spoke through gritted teeth. "Ahhh! Ana Plonsky of Flint, Michigan, Earth, Sol. A real pleasure to meet you." The pale-skinned cryokinetic leaned against a bulkhead for support. "I take it we have...you to thank for the lack of killer cyborgs onboard?" She looked around with bleary eyes. "Do we have a decent first aid kit around here? And maybe some homo sapien blood plasma?"

Meanwhile, Kharag had collapsed from his injuries and layed on the floor, where he was previously standing. The alien was there, on the floor, unconscious with the remains of an antibody's clawed arm impaled in his chest, with thick purple fluid leaking from the wound, presumably what functionned as blood for the alien. He was in no state to help any of the wounded, being part of the list of injured on board the ship.

Amara turned as Ana came into the bridge to report that the Either Ore's faster than light drives were working once more. "Unfortunately I was not able to stop all of the Communion before they got some antibodies aboard. But for the moment we are no longer in danger from any other Communion forces." The Naram replied.

"I am honored to meet you Ana Plonsky of Flint, Michigan. I am Amara Val-Ren of the Praetorians."

"I do not know about homo sapien blood plasma, but I have some basic first aid training."
