Earth E(ntropy)

The weird baby boom...

Terminus babies. Terminals. Entropoids. Mutants. Freaks. They've been called many names, the children of the Terminus. In 1993, the Terminus invasion was halted at an immense cost. Centurion died. With his sacrifice, the world lived another day. Following this, there were sporadic reports of the so-called 'Terminus babies' being born. It wasn't until 2015 that people realized that the Terminus babies were not only here to stay but would change the world. Truth is, nearly anyone born during and after the invasion of 1993 was soaked up and full of Terminus energy. Most just never awakened to their powers right away.

By 2015, the percentage of Terminus babies born began to rise expanentionally world-wide. Many of them were hideously deformed and often had very destructive powers. As their numbers grew, more and more latent T-Babies awakened to their powers, often destructively. Those who didn't still produced T-Babies offsprings. The current year is 2036. More than half the population has been mutated in some form.

What people don't seem to realize is that the danger posed by T-Babies is not readily apparent. Fueled by entropy, destruction and madness their powers are weakening the world. Each one of them act as a living link to the power of entropy. Because, you see, the Terminus invasion may have been repelled but it had lasting effects. No world had ever resisted the forces of Omega before. Now, the world is sick. Dying. Like a living, sentient cancer. Devoured by all those mutants that scurry on it's surface, their powers slowly extinguish the light of the world.

Omega won. It just took longer for everyone to realize it.

As you can see, this is inspired by Age of Apocalypse, Days of Future Past, Earth X, Marvel 2099 and Kingdom Come among other things.

This is the character I plan to use once I hit Silver.

Character Name: Lokran the Space-Warrior

In Brief: Alien barbarian warrior with a 'magical' heirloom that's really just Preserver technology.

Alternate Identity: Lokran of Brathog, Prince Lokran, Lokran Son of Narbras
Identity: Public
Birthplace:
Occupation: Wandering Warrior
Affiliations:
Family: Narbras (Father), Argras (Mother), Surdok (Elder Brother), Baltrok (Older Brother)

Description:
Age: Unknown in earth years
Apparent Age: 20-something
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Alien
Height: 6'7"
Weight:
Eyes: White
Hair: Pale Grey

A massive, powerfully built bear of an alien, Lokran is the spitting image of how one would imagine a barbarian; wearing animal pelts he's slain himself and having a big, bushy braided beard. Like all members of his species, Lokran has greyish-blue skin, pale hair and white eyes. His ears are long and frilled.

Power Descriptions:
Lokran has no powers beyond his alien physiology and training, however, his weapon can be used in a variety of ways.

History:
Once, there was a world. A world visited by the Preservers. A world of wonders or great terror, one can't really say. It was a golden age of advancement, one that didn't last very long. How did the first sorcerer-king find magic, one can't say. Was he someone dabbling into what his species deemed superstition? A scientist who encountered supernatural forces? None can say. The planet Brathog was plunged into two thousand years of darkness, where monsters and mad sorcerers ruled the land. It was an age of sword of sorcery...in space.

Lokran Son of Narbras is the youngest of three brothers, born to a king on the planet Brathog. Lokran's kingdom is only one of many of his home planet. As the most gifted of King Narbras' son, he was gifted the familly heirloom, a powerful weapon. While considered to be magical by his people, in truth, this weapon was forged around a Preserver artifact, a powerful (albeit small) generator.

"Once, there was paradise; order and stillness. We shall bring it back to the universe."

-Warriors of Stilness oath.

The multiverse can be seen as a chaotic place. There is just so much to it that does not make sense in the grand scheme of things. So many confusing detail and contradictory details. So much madness, so many strange beings who all contribute to it's confusing nature. Somewhere, deep within the cosmic coil, lies people who wish to see that change. They have been called many things; saviors, destroyers, or conquerors. They are the Warriors of Stillness.

History & Beliefs:

No one knows where the Warriors of Stillness come from. What is known about them is what they currently are; The Warriors are not a single race. They are an empire built on an idea. Warriors of Stillness spends most of their time moving between dimensions, in endless warfare and conquest, travelling in ships capable of moving across both dimensions and space. When entering a new world, the warriors will observe and evaluate. It may take them centuries or millenia and they might even leave for now but one day they will begin their conquest, for no world has ever been pure enough in their eyes.

To them, the multiverse is chaos, filled with too many contradictions. The true form of perfection is stillness As such, the Warriors of Stillness seek to conquer and subjugate everything inside the multiverse and bring it under their will. One could see their goal as simple conquest but to them it is a complex and irrefutable truth, with subtleties others can never hope to grasp. Aiding the Warriors in their task is the fact that, in many realities that suffered greatly at the hands of superpowered beings, they appear as saviors, restoring the rightful balance to the universe. There is some partial truth to this, since the Warriors primarily target Netherworlds and the like first.

The Warriors are prolific recruiters. In their ranks are countless master orators, able to stir the masses to willingly join them. For the rest, there is thought-scrubbing. As part of their great design for a newly ordered universe, all sentient life must be processed and altered. All Warriors known to exist have been subjected to such surgical and metaphysical alterations, giving them increase mental and physical fortitude as well as expanded lifespans. In the end it does not matter if the subject is willing or not, as once completed he or she will fully embrace the mentality of the Warriors.

Goals:

The Warriors of Stillness seek nothing less than the complete and utter rewriting of the multiverse to suit their vision of perfection and they are willing to reshape the very multiverse by hand, sword or cosmic doomsday device if it is required. In the process, they intend to bend everyone and everything to their will in order to further achieve said goal of perfection.

Homeworld:

Their homeworld and stronghold is Aionus, a world that is said to have been 'plucked' out of the cosmic coil. There is only one Aionus, there are no duplicate of it from other universes. Because of this, their homeworld can be moved to anywhere in the multiverse, which is no easy feat and is only done in the final stage of their largest invasions. Their homeworld will then remain for centuries in that universe and more. In fact, it might never have to move again.

In order to fuel their war effort, there have been times when the Warriors have stripped bare entire planets of their ressources. A non-negligeable amount of these ressources have gone into the expansion and constant reconstruction of Aionus. as the planet requires ever larger factories, barracks and massive void-cannons and tranportation devices the size of mountains. Such is the size of their constructions that buildings have been known to be built over entire continents. As such, Aionus is now a mostly artificial world, one of spiraling structures, both beautiful and hideous in their cold and brutal simplicity. To look upon Aionus is to see the coldness and unfeeling detachment of order, reducing everything to raw materials in order to contruct more and more in the hope of achieving a perfect order.
