Giang was relieved when the security guard still outside of the dome was no longer shooting at her. Meanwhile the others were continuing to try to blast their way out, and they were making progress at smashing through the dome, it was only a matter of time before they were free.

Then the Asian teen heard the sound from down below and moved over near the edge of the hole ripped in the earth and peered down to see the massive form rising up. Her jaw clenching slightly, she extended one hand back toward the water dome. The solid water reliquefied and dispersed out onto the ground around the four security guards that had been inside it. The Asian teen then reached back out toward the river with the other hand as she started pulling more water towards her.

"I would suggest falling back to safety." She stated, addressing the PanStar security personnel.

A massive creature composed of rocks and earth rose up from the exposed cavern blow, standing over twenty feet tall.  Turning its head, dark eye sockets looked upward toward the two glowing twins hovering in the air above, and the creature swept one arm outward, sending a stream of rocks and solid chunks of earth flying up into the sky.

Crimson and Clover both moved quickly away from being dead center of projectiles path, scattering as they did so.  While they managed to get out of the way of the majority of the rocks and earth, they were still struck by a few, but their forcefields were easily able to absorb those impacts.

Righting herself first, Clover swooped back over near her sister, grasping Crimson's hand once more.  "I don't know what you are, but you should think again before you attack my sister and I!"  Extending her free hand, the flying villainess sent a beam of yellow energy that began to open as it neared the earth creature, trying to trap its arms and upper body inside a energy binding.  The large earth creature was not particularly agile, and was soon bound inside the glowing yellow energy.

Meanwhile, Crimson pointed her free hand at the massive form of Miss Grue.  "Let her go!"  She called out, as she sent a bolt of red energy at the young Grue.  The blast struck true, causing Miss Grue a bit of pain, but she otherwise held firm and kept her grip on Tundra.

"A nice offer, but I am afraid I have to decline.  I don't trust PanStar or the US government to be accommodating."  Tundra responded as she tried to struggle free from Miss Grue's grip, putting up quite a bit of resistance, but the giant sized Miss Grue managed to maintain her hold on the villainess.

Drawing in his arms as much as he could, Ulysses sweeps them outwards with a huff and a puff, This time, the stone, criss crossed with stress fractures shatters against the backs of his hands and skitters away across the tarmac like rice on the skin of a beating drum, some of the larger chunks trailing steam as they go.

Taking a brief moment to collect himself and catch his breath before calling out to tundra "Maybe not, but perhaps its time for a truce at least, This creature clearly isn't on anyones side and i doubt it will stop with this place; and thought I might disagree with your methods, you care about things, like the people in the town down there." before pulling away and Approaching the creature, hoping it would focus on him as the most immediate threat and buy enough time to let the young ladies try things their way.

Daphne pause for a second whilst she considered all her options, there was a lot going on but she could happily deal with several thing at once. It was an advantage of being a woman.

As gently as she could she freed one of her hand, whilst still trying to hold onto Tundra, this newcomer was apparently dangerous to all them at this moment.

“Maybe now is the time to consider a truce?â€

Holding the other woman behind her back and away from her to help protect her from the creature Daphne tried to attack the creature with her one free hand.

“And you bully should pick on someone you own size.â€

Tundra struggled against Miss Grue's grip, but the giant sized Grue managed to maintain her hold and shift Tundra into one hand as she turned to face the larger earth creature that had risen up in the underground cavern. Miss Grue then swung her now free hand at the large creature that had appeared, managing to strike it solidly thanks to the glowing energy that was helping to restrain it. The creature roared in what appeared to be pain, but stayed on its feet.

The five remaining PanStar security personnel hesitated for a moment at Tsunami's suggestion they retreat, but then regarded the massive earth creature that was currently facing off with the assembled superpowered individuals. The five men then moved over to their unconscious comrades, each lifting up one of them as they began to drag them away from the now intensified superbattle.

Giang watched as the massive earth creature reared fully upright from the cavern, taking a deep breath as she did so and somehow forcing herself past the drained feeling she had been feeling from pushing her powers earlier. She felt it was likely she would need to be in top form for this fight, and could not let some exhaustion slow her down. She was glad to see the PanStar security guards taking her advice and falling back from the fight, taking their unconscious comrades with them.

But the weight of the unconscious men was slowing them down, and they were still too close to the dangerous creature. So Giang maneuvered the water she had just summoned over between the men and the earth creature, creating a large wall of water that then went solid like the dome had before. Hopefully it would keep the creature from moving that direction, or at the very least slow it down some if it did.

The massive earth creature let out another rumbling roar, as it strained against the glowing yellow energy which was restraining it. The energy cracked for a brief moment, then shattered completely as the creature broke free from the bindings with seemingly minimal effort. It then took a few lumbering steps as it climbed up out of the hole Tundra had torn in the top of the cavern, putting it fully up on the surface with the others.

Up in the air Clover watched as the creature broke itself free and climbed up out of the hole. "Oh no you don't!" She called out, sending down another glowing yellow band of energy that she tried to wrap around it once more. Once again the massive creature proved unable to dodge the glowing yellow energy as it wrapped around it, trapping it once more and causing it to let out another frustrated roar.

"Good work sis!" Crimson chimed in, as she sent one of her red burst of energy at the massive creature. The energy blast struck it solidly on the upper back, but it seemed to casually shrug off the attack as little more than an annoyance.

Back down on the ground, Tundra ceased struggling against Miss Grue for the moment, as she called out to the gigantic Grue and Ulysses. "I agree, it is time for a truce to stop this thing."

"wonderful." ulysses half mumbled to himself as tundra's words reach him, on the cusp of the hole, somewhat distracted by the monsters's thunderous roars, the bright flash of its bindings shattering and then reforming and the shouts of the panstar security staff to give it much attention at the moment; too focused on seizing the oppertunity presented him.

Deciding to test the waters he lashes out with a simple straight wallop, driving his fist into the creatures shin without over-committing to the effort.

Daphne didn’t even consider that Tundra would resort to any kind of deception, to her someone giving their word was enough for her to believe them. She simply released  Tundra and stepped up to try and batter the earth monster. Seeing Giang for the first time she gave the water hero a little wave.

“I think we could use a little water over here, what with it being made mostly of earth.â€

She might be new and green at all this but she wasn’t a complete idiot.

Tundra fell to the ground when Miss Grue released her, landing on her feet, seemingly unfazed by the fall.  The eco-terrorist stood back upright and looked over at the battle that was going on between the other superpowered individuals present and the massive earth creature.

Meanwhile, the five standing PanStar security guards took advantage of the barrier Tsunami had provided them, and continued to drag their unconscious comrades away from the battle.  The last remaining PanStar workers were all fleeing the scene as well, a few moving over the help pull away the unconscious security guards.  All managed to put a fair bit of distance between themselves and the battle with the earth creature, many turning the corner around the factory and disappearing from sight.

Giang looked over towards the tall form of Miss Grue as she mentioned needing some water. A glance back through her solid water wall showed the Asian teen that the PanStar security personnel were likely a safe enough distance away to shift the use of the water she was holding in her power. "I am called Tsunami." She stated in greeting as she shifted the water back to its normal liquid state. "And I can certainly provide some water."

With that, she made a sweeping gesture with her hands, and the water twisted and turned through the air, arcing towards the large earth creature that was struggling against the energy bonds holding it. The water splashed onto the creature, and began to swirl about it, all under Tsunami’s careful control, as she tried to use the water to erode away parts of the creature, or at least weaken it.

But as the water splashed around the ground, Ulysses getting a bit wet and muddy in the process, the effect on the creature seemed negligible. It seemed still pretty much intact, with only a few areas showing any sign of erosion and it still seemed as solid and durable as it did before.

The giant earth creature let out another roar as it once again struggled with the bonds of glowing yellow energy. As with the first time, the bonds began to fracture and the break away, as the creature pulled itself free. Taking a few steps, the creature then lifted its head toward the flying twins, and raised both hands with another roar, sending another wide cone of rocks and dirt flying at the two young women.

This time both were struck full force by the attack, the blast of debris knocking them both further upward into the air and sending them spinning out of control. Both were clearly hurt by the attack, dazed and not fully aware of where they were. After the momentum of the impact faded, they began falling back towards the ground, as their focus on their flight faltered.

The now released Tundra quickly moved into action, extending her hands outward as she tore two chunks of rock and earth up from the ground. She then sent the rocks up into the sky, using them to effectively catch the two falling twins.

ulysses gasps in shock as the cold water from tsunami's stream washes over him, and dirties his clothes with bits of river sediment and monster mass, but now is not the time to be distracted, he reminds himself as he squares up with the creature; it clearly immense resilience and inorganic nature leads Ulysses to conclude that holding back is neither necessary nor prudent, the two flying ladies being swatted out of the air pressing for a swift resolution to this conflict is what clinches it for him and with a low growl he draws back his fist  and swings in a short sharp ark at the creatures knee with all the power and desperation he can muster, striking it with such force he feels it reverberate back up his arm along his hardened skin and reinforced bones.

naturaly he is somewhat aghast to see that even at his fullest power the creature was gaining little more than scratches from his blows.

"looks like it might be a matter of attrition!" he yells back, not entirely sure of how useful this information is himself but feeling better said and not needed than needed and not said.

With a broad smile Daphne gave a cheery thumbs up toward Tsunami, she wasn’t exactly a tactical genius so she was quite chuffed that it had actually worked. Still the beast was still standing so she turned her attention back to the mound of earth and rock that starting causing trouble.

She went for a fairly straight forward punch towards the creature, she wasn’t a graceful fighter but she was, hopefully, an effective one.

The massive earthen creature roared with pain at Ulysses' powerful blow, pulling its leg back from the steam powered hero. When Miss Grue slammed a massive fist into the center of its bulk, it took the blow with seemingly much less effect that that from the smaller hero.

Giang seemed a bit disappointed that the cascade of water she had dumped on the earth creature had barely seemed to effect it. So the Asian teen decided for a more direct approach. Taking one step forward, she brought both hands up to her side and then thrust them forward as she focused her power. Jets of water shot forth from her hands, twisting and coiling around each other as the sped at the massive earth creature. The powerful jets of water slammed into the creature, splashing across its rocky, earthen hide. But while bits of rock and dirt were jarred loose, the creature seemed otherwise unaffected by the attack.

With the large earth creature shaking off the attacks from Miss Grue and Tsunami with seeming little ill effect, it lowered its large, rocky head to focus on Ulysses, who was standing on the ground near it, having just delivered a powerful and painful blow to its lower leg. The creature then lifted one massive foot up off the ground, and brought it slamming back down towards the steam powered hero. As fast as he was, Ulysses was unable to move out of the path of the stomp in time, the earthen and rocky foot slamming down on top of him with tremendous force and bulk behind it.

Ulysses was smashed down onto the pavement of the PanStar facility, breaking through and then down into the hard earth beneath. The creature moved its foot back, reveling the smashed pavement and earth beneath, with Ulysses trapped in the small crater.

On the two floating slabs of earth and rock Tundra had brought up to catch the twins, both of the young metahumans climbed back up to their feet, the one with the green in her costume much more unsteadily than her sister in red. Crimson looked over toward the earth creature, her eyes narrowing slightly as she brought up one hand and sent one of her red beams of energy flying at it. The blast struck the creature head on, causing it to stagger half a step backward as it let out another roar of pain.

Tundra meanwhile brought the rocky platforms for Crimson and Clover back down to the ground, as she allowed her control over the rock and earth fade, so that she could soon try to take more direct action against the earth creature.

Daphne gave a worried look back at her ally but she didn’t have time to go and help him. Instead she determined to try an get rid of the problem of this monster. She set her face in a rather determined, and possible slightly cute, look.

“Time to sort you out nasty beastie.†it sounded more cute than really threatening.

She then attempted to grapple with the creature to hopefully get it away from all everyone else and stop it attacking anyone.

Giang watched with great concern as the massive earth creature brought its foot down on the steam powered man. The large Grue then tried to grapple with the creature, but failed to keep ahold of it, as the earth creature managed to pull itself free. The Asian teen focused back on the large earth creature, as she prepared to use her power once again. This time, she shifted her stance slightly, in order to be better prepared to try to dodge any attack that might come.

Then Giang sent a blast of twisting coils of water at the earth creature. This time however, the monster turned slightly, and the blast of water glanced harmless off its side.

Pulling its self free from Miss Grue's grasp, the massive earth creature focused its attention on the enlarged Grue, swinging one of its huge fists at her.  *WHAM*  The blow struck solidly, the impact creating a small concussive wave around the two that shook windows in the manufacturing plant.  Miss Grue was knocked completely off her feet by the force of the blow, falling over backwards to land on the ground about twenty five feet away, where she lay dazed.

Both Crimson and Clover took the air once again, Clover clearly feeling the effects of the earlier attack, as she seemed to be just staying up and had one arm clutched up against her torso.  Crimson however was still very much in the flight, and the young woman sent another beam of red energy at the earth creature, however, this time she somehow missed the massive target, and the beam blasted a small crater in the ground nearby.

Tundra let the rock and earth she had levitated up to catch the twins fall back to the ground.  The villainess focused her attention on the earth creature, but did not take any other obvious action.

Shaking her head Daphne tried to clear her head from her sudden fall. It was tempting to just lie here and let things play out, but that would allow the bad guys to win and she wouldn’t allow that to happen.

Jumping to her feet she ran towards the rock monster building up as much speed as she could. As she run she began to contract in height until the moment when she struck the creature she was her normal height but around five times her normal density.

“Mr Rock meet Miss Hard Place.†she was quite proud that line.

Miss Grue slammed into the leg of the massive earth creature, causing it to let out a small roar.  But the roar mainly seemed to be one of annoyance, as it did not seem overly affected by the impact.

Giang paused a moment as the creature continued to either shrug off or avoid all the attacks of those still fighting it.  The Asian teen was not sure what the condition of the man that had been stepped on was, but she hoped he was not too seriously injured.  In the meantime, her and the others needed to try to do more against the creature.  Focusing back on the massive form, Giang once again sent a blast of twisting coils of water toward the earth creature.  This time the blast struck it squarely, blasting off some chunks of earth and rock and causing it to let out a roar that was more than one of annoyance.

Roaring with pain, the earth creature turns its head to focus on Tsunami.  Sweeping one hand outward, it sends another blast of rock and earth flying at the Asian teen.  Tundra then takes a step forward, pushing her hands out toward the blast, a glow forming around them.  A similar glow starts to form around the rock and earth projected by the monster, but it flickers out and the blast continues onward unimpeded.

Tsunami tries to dodge the blast, but is struck hard by several chunks of rock, her watery forcefield flickering wilding from the impacts.  She is flung backward dozens of feet, slamming into the side of a truck that had similarly been ripped apart by the blast.  While she was still conscious, the Asian teen was dazed and clearly hurt by the blast.

Up in the air, Clover grabbed her twins hand once more, as she sent a beam of yellow energy down towards where Tsunami had landed.  The villainess formed a yellow dome of glowing energy around the downed heroine, hoping to provide her some protection until she could get back into the fight.

Meanwhile Crimson sent another red blast of energy at the earth creature, this time striking it squarely on the shoulder.  Once again the creature let out a roar of pain.

Tundra readied herself to try to counter any attack made by the creature, hoping to be more successful this time.

Miss Grue might not be as large as the monster now but she had as much more mass behind her than she did before. She put her fist together and swung them at the creature throwing as much force into the blow as she could muster, and she could muster quite a bit of force when necessary.

“I don’t suppose you want to reveal you plans to tell us an obvious but hidden weak spot?â€

She said it a broad smile not expecting the creature to actually answer the question.

Miss Grue's powerful fists struck the earth creature in its shin once more, chipping off a bit of rock and dirt, but otherwise seeming to do little to the massive creature.

Underneath the glowing dome formed by Clover, Tsunami was trying to clear her head as she lay on the ground, still recovering from the powerful blast.

Ignoring Miss Grue, the earth creature turned its head skyward once more, sweeping an arm upward and sending another barrage of rocks and earth into the air at the flying twins. Once again Tundra's hands glowed, and a glow formed around the earthen projectiles, but just as when the creature had attacked Tsunami, Tundra seemed unable to slow or stop the attack, and the blast struck the two twins once again. Both were knocked upward by the impacts, spinning out of control as they went, before starting to fall back towards the ground as they were dazed and disoriented. Down on the ground, the dome that Clover had formed around Tsunami flickered, then faded away.

Tundra quickly reacted as she saw the twins falling, once again ripping up sections of the ground and sending it skyward to catch the two falling young women.

Huffing indignently ulyssess scrambles uneasily to his feet, still feeling a little bit of a sting from the impact of so much earth and rock bearing down on him and imprinting him into the ground, he reaches out with arms and applies the upmost of his strength to restraining the creature, forcing its leg to bend up and onto itself to hinder its movement and hopefuly make it easier prey for the people around him.

"Don't you turn your back on me beastie, I was just catching my second wind!" he growls as he tightens his grip, impressing handprints into the compacted earth that made up the monsters body.
