The first robotic arm Fulcrum had pummeled gradually regained its airborne balance, rockets propelling it back around to take another swing at the statuesque paragon. Though the blow was mighty and connected solidly with her torso, the impact was more than the damaged mechanism could endure, metal fingers crumpling like a stomped aluminum can against the superhumanly tough woman.

Meanwhile the remaining leg shot up skyward before pulling a tight u-turn and crashing into the falling Willow while she was unable to dodge, propelling her more quickly toward the ground. Before they could Jack swung back into the thick of the fight, catching the dryad's hand and pulling her along with him while the oversized appendage crashed into the pavement with a scream of protesting metal followed immediately by a moderate explosion. Holding Min a little more tightly to his side than he would have normally felt compelled to do, the fencer shouted to the others, "Wrap it up!"

Fulcrum looked a bit surprised that the damaged arm took another swing. She nodded in satisfaction at the robot's own, well, self-destruction.

Must be out of practice. Of course giant robots fight to the end!

Her attention quickly shifted to her teammates. Jack was right. Time to finish up this fight and move on to bigger fish. But where was Geckoman? The crashing sound suggested he was having fun with the robotic head. Unfortunately, the head was still plummeting earthward at a rather painful rate of speed. Now Fulcrum knew full well that ol' Gecks could regenerate like mad, but she also knew the injuries still hurt. A lot. And that just wasn't right to inflict on the fellow.

Zooming past one crumpled and one damaged arm, the heroine came up underneath the head-cockpit and latched onto it with a bear hug. With a judicious use of air brakes, the bundle of two heroes and robot slowed and stopped in mid air. Hopefully a good, safe distance from the cold, hard, metal-strewn street.

"Gecks? You in there?" called Fulcrum, peeking at the window of the cockpit and trying not to wince.

Geckoman was inside the cockpit, having gently laid Craven's body aside. The interior was still splatted with blood, and a terrible site, but the superhero kept going, seemingly oblivious to where he was. "So it'd seem..." He rammed a fist into one of the control panels, denting it inwards enough he could pry the sides of it where it'd buckled. Then he ripped out some wires in a swift motion and tied the remaining, sparking ends back together in a knot.

"Alright, let's see if that's going to have an effect..." He hit a couple of buttons, pulled a level and with one big final flourish, looking down at Fulcrum and grinned. "Voila!" He booted the machine with one fist just as he slammed another level into the off position.

The various pieces of the robotic armor went limp at Chris' violent override, some clattering with great cacophonies to the pavement while others simply stopped their futile twitching. The head abruptly stopped staining against Fulcrum's grip, shifting in the process and sending Craven's remains rolling over in the cockpit to rest of the unfortunate green-suited acrobat's lap.

Landing next to one of the disabled limbs and setting Willow down without removing his hand from her waist, Jack retracted the line on his grapple and called up to the airborne half of the team, "Good work! You alright up there? We still need to get on the horn to HAX."

"Ah," said Geckoman, looking down at the dead body resting on his lap. "That is a thing." He gingerly picked up the body and slung it up over his shoulders in a fireman's lift, dropping out of the robot head and swinging down onto the rooftop by shooting his grapple line onto the robot as Fulcrum held it aloft.

He laid Jerry Craven's body down onto the ground slowly and carefully. "And we need to do something with this guy. I mean, utter nutjob, but he didn't deserve that." Chris shook his head slowly. "Noone does," he said quietly.

"Good work. Good work," Fulcrum commented as the robot powered down in her hands. She returned his grin.

Her smile faded at where Mr. Craven's remains ended up. A sigh escaped and she shook her head.

Thankfully, Jack distracted her. Looking down at him, she said, "Thanks. We're fine I think. You two okay?"

Originally, she'd also been a touch concerned by Willow's sudden maneuver, but her worries were unfounded. Jack was nothing if not a dashing rescuer.

Once Geckoman exited the head with the unfortunate pilot, the robotic remains soon landed a distance away from the acrobat.

"You're right. Unfortunately, not a lot we can do. I doubt we could get through to 911 right now," the giantess stated plainly while unfastening and draping her cape over Jerry's prone form.

"Don't worry," she added after glancing to Geckoman, "It's not the original. Gave that to the Super Museum years ago. I would have used it anyway..." The latter sentence added quietly to herself. If she heard Chris, she didn't respond.

Now was the time to focus. With a nod to Jack, she activated her commlink, "I'm on it."
