Semi-Autogyro Posted April 11, 2012 Author Share Posted April 11, 2012 After he was transferred to the Freedom League facility, it turned out to be a rather enjoyable few days respite as their advanced medical technology significantly reduced the amount of recuperation he needed. The armor he had acquired had gotten the all clear from them as well, to which he was looking forward to seeing its capabilities. They still didn't have a complete understanding of what was done to him, even with the data he had retrieved. John couldn't discern anything different either, and until he was cleared to resume training probably wouldn't. Like the Headmaster predicted Kate had asked him to attend her ceremony. While he thought that would be the end of things, Kate had decided to take it upon herself to involve herself with him much to his continued consternation. When he asked her why she said that he was the first person outside work she met in Freedom, and she didn't think it right that that he didn't have any relatives or a home. When he arrived back at Claremont he fondly would remember the welcome that his friends gave him upon his return, and their reactions to what he could tell them of what happened. John knew that SHADOW lurked closer than ever, but he would deal with that bridge when it came time to cross it. Paris, France Late March The blond woman extended her hand to hail a taxi, and got into the one that responded. The lady stated in immaculate French, only to look at the the driver when he did not respond. The driver responded by placing his hand across the back of the front seat, intentionally showing the woman the split lightning bolt inside of a circle insignia as the doors locked.
