Out of his clothes, Micah looks well built. He is not the bodybuilder type, but he does enough to keep the strong physique. He keeps his hair shaved down and has a light beard. Having spent a lot of time out in the sun, he is very tanned. He has exactly two tattoos. One from his former fraternity (it's below his chest, above his stomach). The other is a trbal designed sun on his left shoulder. He dresses casually, though he does look nice in a suit. His posture is loose, but confident.

Power Descriptions: Micah's powers turn him into a great golden flaming humanoid with no distinguishing features. He is a walking fire. He can use his powers to harm evildoers in a variety of ways, but he can also use Heaven's Flame to cure those that need it. With his aura he glows a little brighter than his regular flaming form. His bolts look in lightning, if lightning were golden and on fire. The Heaven Storm is him opening up the heavens and calling down a symphony of Heaven Bolts all around. His healing powers make the healed glow a little bit. Not like him, but more like a soft light. This lasts for a while, but Micah can't turn it off, he figures that He turns it off when He wants to. His flight looks like a large pair of fiery angel wings.

History: Micah was born into a church family. His father was the preacher at a small southern baptist church, his grandfather was a deacon (and the former pastor) and his great-grandfather was one of the founding members of the church, He was next. They were preparing him to take over the role when his father wasn;'t able to do it anymore. Now he didn't not believe in the faith. He grew up in it. Yet, he didn't believe it was his calling. Though he knew he had a duty to do, so he reluctantly accepted with no complaints. He just wanted to get out and live a little.

They were sending him to college to get his degree in theology. Micah happily accepted, but not for reasons his parents wanted. He would be half way across the state, and besides the irregular check up from his family, he'd be out of sight from them. This would be sort of a sabbatical for him. This would be his chance for freedom!

When he got there he made a few friends. He was digging the college life. It was not as eventful as he thought it would be for the first month or so. He did a few silly things that he wasn't supposed to do. He drank his first beer and smoked his first joint. His friends said it would loosen him up. While he was hesitant at first, when he saw it was mostly harmless, he was ok with it. He tried to keep the balance of having fun and actually learning balanced.

Then came his first actual party. It was fraternity rush time! The fraternity had these little excesses to loosen up the returning members and attract new members. It was an informal tactic, but it was fun and it did give them some time to meet their new pledges on a personal level. Micah enjoyed what he remembered of it. Though he was quite shocked when he woke up with a girl he didn't know and never saw again after that. He justified it as one of those minor things. Just one of the long list of minor justifications.

Micah would come back to the fraternity after reading some literature on it. They helped the community and had some influential names in their alumni. So that was definitely a plus. What he didn't know was that their pass transgressions were steep, though hidden by said powerful names. Eventually getting into the fraternity after a grueling haze/hell week, he was chosen as one of the new brothers. He even got a tattoo (that was mandatory) to forever mark him as one of the few that made it.

While the fraternity did their fair share of humanitarian work, their antics were quite harsher than Micah expected. Though Micah was supposed to keep these secret. It wasn't like they alienated him either. The way they made these bad things sound was almost like it was second nature. Those second nature things just happened to be some criminal activities. Theft of property was treated as "Robin Hood". A few masked intimidations of people that needed to back of never turned violent, but then again the threats they made never suggested they wouldn't. Finally there was the "underground fundraising drives" which sold more than a few things people shouldn't be able to buy.

By his third year, Micah was par for the course for these things. He needed something, they got it for him, they needed something for it, he knew exactly where to find it and no one would know any better. There was an unquestionable loyalty between him and them. He looked out for them while they looked out for him. Unfortunately, his third year would be his last. During one of more stupid stunts of his recent life, he was driving under the influence while receiving some 'attention' from a girl WHILE a couple of his brothers were getting pictures and video. This little stunt ended with him accidentally not seeing a steel guardrail and plowing into it. His brothers received some minor cuts and bruises, he and the girl were killed on impact.

When Micah woke up from his ordeal, he was sitting on the front pew in his family's church, sans clothing. No one else was around, though he was slightly embarrassed. Covering himself with a hymnal, he tried to wal out of the side door to the hallway, but it didn't budge, like it was locked there. He tried to knock on the door and cry out forhelp, but he found that he could not speak. He was scared as he remembered the night before. Everything refocused. This was his funeral! His family, extended family and even some of his frat brothers were there . Though none could see him. It was a touching ceremony. Wehn the left he found he could not leave with them. He had accepted his fate. His afterlife was to stay in this church forever. If only someone could see him or hear him.

As he curled up on the last pew, he felt a tap on his shoulder. A man dressed in white slacks and a white longsleeved button up shirt looked to him. Micah thought this was it. As he sat up, the man sat next to him. "Micah, We've been watching you. I've been watching you. I know your story. Your actions the past few years, have made me wonder. Why?" Micah tried to speak up, but was cut off. "Save your excuses. I know them all. What I'm here to do is give you a second chance. There is a catch though. You'll be working for us." Micah gasped. The man smiled, "This will be your chance for redemption, son. Sure, you can have some fun, but don't go overboard this time." The man touched Micah on the shoulder and he was gone. Micah too was in a different place, but he had clothes and was alive!

The Freedom League helped in earthly affairs to set him back up and to keep the dead guy coming back to life story off the news. He even got to speak with his family again. He was hesitant at first, but he wanted to be truthful. His mother and father, while awkwardly listening to the story accepted that their flesh and blood was alive. When Micah told them the catalyst for his journey home they were shocked. They didn't know what to say. His father told him to search his heart for this. If it was true, then it was his calling to the faith. They were glad that he was situating into his new life and even set him up with some cash so he could continue college again. Though this time he would have his fun more safe and sane. Finally the man in white would appear to him and tell him of his new status as a warrior of Heaven. To strike out at evil where ever it stands. It was true, this was his calling. He was now Heavenfire.

Personality & Motivation: Reborn? In a sense. He's definitely been through the lowest point in his life. As the saying goes, "When you hit rock bottom, the only way you can look is up.". He's still got a piece of his old life with him, though he's balanced it out with some introspective. He's an active and fun-loving guy to hang out with, he's just not brash and self-destructive now. He carries the light of Heaven with him. He's not acting accordingly because he has to, but because he wants to. He's seen the alternatives. Being stuck somewhere for the rest of his afterlife? Not for him.

His motivation comes from the heart. He's seen the dark side of life trying to run from the light. He doesn't want anyone to fall into that spiral.

Powers & Tactics: Micah like to be up front in a fight. Never one to hang back, he'll chase an evildoer for until it gets tired and bring Heaven's wrath upon them. Though he will accept a plea for mercy, if they really mean it. Otherwise he'll punch the bad guy if he can and shoot the bad guy if he can't. If an ally or he looks injured enough, he'll stop and fix it.

Complications:

Heaven's Champion: He's not the only one out there, but he has a responsibility in some people's eyes. Those that know Micah as Heavenfire, and vice versa, sometimes hold him to a higher standard than he acts sometimes.

Secret: Micah doesn't want any bad influences from his hero life sneaking into his personal life.

Absolute Enemies: Demons and undead. These things set something off in his head something fierce. He cannot be around them for very long without one of them falling. Demons and undead also get the same feeling about him.
