Breella Posted October 13, 2011 Author Share Posted October 13, 2011 GM One of the dragons suddenly turned on it's heals. A giant black tail lashed out and struck Crowe, throwing him into the portal. The surface shimmered and rippled then it was still. The dust moved more and a cloaked figure appeared for a brief moment. The dragons went wild upon seeing it. They lashed out and some of the stands began to crumble. They released an ear splitting roar. Link to comment
Ozob Posted October 13, 2011 Share Posted October 13, 2011 "What the..." Johnny said his mouth hanging open. Five minutes ago, he had been walking through the fair on a totally normal day. In fact, a better than normal day as he had met someone totally normal and down to earth. That was a great start for a new city. Now chaos was breaking out as the graceful but deadly lizards turned and wheeled through the sky. Those are dragons. Real flying dragons, he thought to himself as the battle unfolded. Sure, he had seen enough TV to know about all the various super heroes and groups that existed around the world. However, seeing them on TV, and seeing them up close in the flesh was another matter. As Lucy tossed a chair skyward and other "students" took flight to combat the beasts, it came to him that perhaps he should be doing something to help. I do have powers... his thoughts continued. People do need help... Of course, getting his shock ridden mind to grasp that he needed to actually do something was another matter all together. So remaining standing as the crowds panicked and ran around him, he did nothing more than stare at the unfolding scene. Link to comment
Breella Posted October 14, 2011 Author Share Posted October 14, 2011 GM The black Dragon bellowed and took a deep breath, black and blue fire came from deep within its body and spewed out over the dustcloud. The blaze caught stands, tapestries and other decorations and began to burn like wildfire. The huge confused beast landed and roared again, it was followed by a deep chuffling and the nostrils of the great beast again began to flare. His eyes like stone as he concentrated on that space. Breella Posted October 14, 2011 Author Share Posted October 14, 2011 "NOT AGAIN!" Gwen let out a loud bellow of her own. "I REFUSE to have ONE MORE DATE turn into a day at the ZOO!" The small fierce girl flew at the beast with all her speed and Vines lashed out from all over her body. She tried to ensnare the beast but its bulk proved to be too much for her. The Vines fell short and their mere fifty feet was not enough to surround such a great beast. Frustrated and angry Gwen let out a loud cry and gritted her teeth. "Ok, We can do this your way! Raveled Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 Glowstar's gaze snapped back to the dragons as they continued to rampage through the sky, shrugging off the attacks of several superheroes as if they were nothing. "Right," the young hero muttered to himself. "Time to up the ante." He inhaled slowly, gathering his energy up, forcing it into the core of his body. Cupping his hands close to his chest, he drew the energy out into a bright, crackling sphere. At the last he let loose and thrust the energy forward with the whole of his body and hips behind it, sending innumerable thin streaks of ruby light arrowing in to the fire-breathing dragon.
