Being as savy a world traveler as Gwen is, with her combined knowledge of History and knowledge that it happens to children in poor countries (as notes in Hitting the Books w/ Brian) she's getting suspicious of this "dutch" cover. If you start making serious accusations, or calling their bluffs, I would expect Zach might privately confess to others that he trusts. Gwen would be one of those.
