GK could just area attack the lot of them, but he's kinda hoping one of them has answers of some sort. So:

Ranged Attack Roll vs. Demon 3 (autofire blast) (1d20 + 12 - 2=29)

A helpless demon should have a defense of...what, 15? Plus or minus size modifiers. Unless the demon has Shrinking 16, that should be the full +5 autofire bonus.

DC27 (base) + 2 (power attack) + 5 (autofire bonus) = DC34 Toughness for the demon with the big mouth. Nonlethal damage, of course.

Actually, a Helpless demon effectively has a total Defense of 5 -- not a Defense bonus. So yeah, that hits. EDITED: It's not a coup de grace, as I thought before, as GK was not close enough to do a coup de grace. So it's a DC34 save, and the demon still rolls a 28, meaning it's Bruised and Stunned.

Demon 4 is Stunned and Staggered, but not down. That leaves Demons 5 and 6. They attempt to lob fireballs at Gaian Knight and Changeling, respectively.

The first one hits GK, the second one misses Changeling by a country mile. That's a DC24 Toughness save for GK.

All right, that hits. So... Demons 1 and 5 take another Bruise, Demons 2 and 5 are Stunned and Staggered, and Demon 4 gets sent back to Hell. And Demon 3 gets Stunned and Staggered as well.

Demon 1 is free to act. He attempts to escape the grapple as a Move action; that's a 29 versus a 26, so it's up and about. It throws another fireball at Equinox, and it hits. DC24 Toughness save on Equinox's part.

Nick responds by attempting to reestablish a grapple on anyone. That means he'll need to let the demons loose as a free action and attempt the whole thing again. So, DC17 Reflex save to cut a DC35 Grapple check down to DC32.

So Demons 1 and 6 get a slight benefit. How do they all do? Not too well. So Demon 3 is Pinned, all others are Bound.

Y'know what I don't like lately? Dice. Dice just wait for moments when they can screw you over. Screw you, dice.

GK's just going to AoE everything. All the things. Hooray for +Shapeable.

DC21 Reflex for all the demons, then DC26/DC20 Toughness against damage, depending on whether or not they make the save.

Demon 5 makes the Reflex save. In the interests of saving time, I'll make a Toughness roll with all parties at full Toughness, then subtract the bruises.

So Demon 1 is Stunned and Staggered, Demon 2 is Bruised and Stunned, Demon 3 is dead, Demon 5 is Bruised and Stunned, Demon 6 is Bruised and Stunned.

Equinox is staying with the Stun, but I'll let Ecal get an IC post in if he wishes. Meanwhile, Demon 1 and Demon 2 are still Stunned, so Nick spends a free action maintaining the grapple. He gets a 26, and Demon 2 manages to slip the bonds. Mind you, he can't act, but GK's turn is coming up, which means a lot of the demons are shaking off their Stun.

Well, that changes things. Demon 5 goes down - but that's it, as Takedown Attack can only be used once per round when the enemies aren't Minions.

And, because I completely forgot to take a standard action last turn... let's try to grapple those demons!

That's a 25 on the Opposed Grapple. The demons get a DC17 to halve that down to DC22, and Demon 1 makes it.

...well, that sucked.
