It wasn't the most pleasant conditions, it was humid and still warm though not as warm as it had been in daylight. There was a smell about the area brought by the heat, and several things still dripping from a summer shower. At least the walls weren't still wet, stalking against them like a shadow had a cool effect but it wasn't pleasant when you met every bump and grove on the wall down the way. Maybe she should get a thicker costume? Not that she could afford to be picky, she was fortunate she was able to get the materials for a good costume in the first place regardless of the fact that she could still smell the black spray paint in her appartment.

The place hadn't been where most the really ritsy areas of the pier, it was more just near the downtrodden area where there were far less loiterers. Not that it mattered on a Tuesday night, since only retirees hit the casinos on weeknights and they usually cleared out by now. Heroin was the name of the drug game tonight, she had been able to bust a crack house in Southside earlier that evening but now she was after the supplier.

Gunshots rang out loudly in the cramped alleyway of Southside, followed quickly by the sound of running. Miguel had been waiting just inside the alley for some customers, but when a low, gravelly voice spoke to him from the shadows, he panicked and pulled his revolver. He was maybe twenty paces from where he heard the voice when his legs were bound together and brought out from underneath him, his chin slamming into the rain slicked pavement. Grunting through the pain he rolled over on his back and leveled his pistol, ready to fire at the first thing that moved. Too bad he wasn't as quick as his target.

Razorwing descended upon the drug dealer in an instant, his foot lashing out at the gun, then a hard fist connecting with Miguel's jaw. Dazed, he couldn't understand the question when it was asked by the menacing figure that hovered above him. "Wha?" was all he could manage before another fist crashed into his stomach.

"I said tell me where you get your supply," he growled, "or I put you in the ground."

Closing his eyes tight and stuttering an address on the Boardwalk, Miguel found himself mewling to the shadows of the alleyway when he opened his eyes a moment later.

The dank hole looked almost abandoned on the outside, but it was the right address. Slipping into the back, she could already tell something was going down because the guards were packing and didn't even try to hide it. There were only two, so hopefully this would end quickly.

She stuck to the walls moving silently as she approached, she walked all the way around right behind the first of them. With a blow to the back she dropped the first one, the second quickly reached to raise his weapon but she took him out with a swift kick to the stomach. He went out like a light and she lowered as he fell to reduce noise as she pressed herself to the wall and listened to the next room. She could hear voices, it sounded like they were negociating. Hopefully it wouldn't get too bad, but she still took a few moments to disarm the guards, and to also steady her nerves before she moved onto the next room.

Crouched low on the roof of the abandoned warehouse, Razorwing peered in through the tinted skylight. Four men stood around a nondescript table with two briefcases open. He could only make out the contents of one of the cases from his vantage point, and he wasn't surprised at all that it was filled with money. It appeared he had arrived just in time for the money to change hands, but he couldn't be sure that the other case held more money or the product, though he was certain it was more money. That amount of cash would buy a truck load of cocaine. Not wanting to miss anything important, he kept his position and tried to read the lips of the men talking below.

Slipping under the door and into the room, Sil clung to the wall and watched as they exchanged suit cases,

"The key and address of the store house is in there along with a sample. Any questions?"

The first asked gang leader asked smiling a toothy grin,

"Yes, where is the insurance that you aren't trying to pull a fast one?"

The thug next to him almost moved for his gun, but the first one to talk held his hand out,

"It's just good business, besides this is only half the price remember, you promised the second upon retrieval which I have several guys prepared to pick up upon your arrival."

The second gang leader looked at the suit case, carefully opening and examining the key and bag in it before closing it. He seemed ready to pick it up when he saw something in the corner of his eye. A silhouette that belonged to none of the other figures in the room. Pulling out his pistol he shot at the shadow.

Sil saw the attack and immediately ducks down behind some boxes for cover.

The thug is first to react his gun held up level to the other gang leader's head, while the other thug does the same,

"What the hell are you shooting at?"

The gang leader peered at the place the shadow was,

"We are no longer alone."

He pointed over to the area Sil was hiding, the negociator reached into his jacket and pulled out an additional gun which he handed over his gun to the thug who immediately held it head level to both men in the other party as he headed over his original pistol in hand check upon the area.

Random gunshot then a Mexican standoff, Razorwing thought to himself. If these "professionals" keep this up, they'll put me out of a job.

However, he couldn't have asked for a better distraction than this. He stood from his crouch and hopped forward, letting his weight break the glass of the skylight, showering the thugs below with broken glass. His retractable glider wings unfurled and Razorwing landed next to the thug with two guns. He savagely elbowed the gunmen in the temple.

The gunmen was surprised, knocked back but unharmed. Taking several steps back he and the other two in the room though surprised didn't hesitate to point their guns at the visitor and shoot. The gang leader who went to check the boxes also aimed his weapon, but he didn't take two steps before something from behind the boxes out and kneed him hard in the stomach hard. He fell to the floor, but his fall was muffled by the sound of gunshots. Sil quickly ducked back for cover as the bullets flew.

While the others were preoccupied with Razor, the second gang leader quickly made his way to try and shoot at the shadow that had kneed him. However, he didn't get a shoot out he was striken by the edge of a flat handed chop and knocked out. Moving quickly in the confusion caused by the ROH(Random Other Hero), she entered the fry just quickly enough to catch the thug as he was set flying backwards from the blow to his midsection. She held him by the shoulders and said quickly,

"Hi",

She then used her free hand to give him a firm punch to the jaw that finished the job.

Letting the thug drop she surveyed the scene only to find that the other gang leader pulled his gun towards her, or at least tried to. She quickly responded in kind with an edged kick to his side that sent him toppling with a large gash in his side. The first thug noticed in kind what was happening at took the chance to shoot his gun at Sil who was quick to duck under the table to avoid fire.

The gunman forgetting that there were two not one black clad heroes in the room felt the sensation of being punched quite odd as he hit the floor unconcious. Sil didn't really notice this, as she moved out from the table and moved onto the bleeding form of the only concious member of the party remaining. Bleeding and bruised but not completely helpless he tried to struggle against the smaller girl, but was overpowered as she jabbed a bit at his wound to make him flinch and grabbed onto his arms and pushed him face first into the floor into a pin which resulted most in her simply sitting on his midsection on his wound. It was all very painful.

Ignoring the guy squirming as she leaned one one hand down on his forearm to maintain the pin, she glanced over at the other black clad hero and said,

"So, you have any cuffs or something to tie this guy up with, because I looked and I think I found the only warehouse in Freedom without a single roll of duct tape."

She cuffed him quietly and looked down at him, he in turned looked over at the other black figure and tried to struggle out of her grasp. Immediately Sil responded by leaning on his wound,

"Best behave or else I'll have to see how much blood will leak out if I keep pressing it."

The guy was speechless but he didn't want to try his luck any further and came up with her as she prodded him quietly to the table then simply backed away to find a place to sit. The guy looked at her and then at the other person and almost wanted to run, but instead gathered his last amount of courage,

"What do you want?"

"What do you want?"

"First, I want names. Who you work for, who brings in the shipments, and who they recieve those shipments from. Second," he leaned in close and growled his next words in the thug's ear, "I want you out of Freedom City."

Although he was sure that the heroine who sat by and watched wasn't a threat to him, he wasn't accustomed to leaving his back turned to a stranger. He sent her a silent message with his eyes and posture: I'll get your story next, so don't go anywhere.

Sil sat back and watched surprised the guy didn't wet himself.

"Oliverti, I work for the Oliverti family. I'm just a pick up though, I don't know who brings in the stuff, just where to come get it. That was his job."

He craned his head over to the unconcious gang leader whom Sil let out a sigh, and walked over to the guy. She tried to shake him a little but he was out. She shook her head and looked at the gang leader then the suit case,

"Well the shipment storage info's in the case with the sample right, so we can probably ask the guys guarding it if you really don't know more."

She reached over and picked up the suit case and clicked it open, moving through the pockets she pulled out a sheet of paper and looked it over,

"Ohh, he was kind enough to map quest it too."

"Sit tight," the young hero said to the handcuffed hooligan. Peering into the contents of the suitcase he gathered a sample of the powder while he retrieved a tiny vial of clear liquid from his utility belt. Unscrewing the vial he added "If this isn't what I came for, punk, you are in for a world of hurt."

He combined the powder with the liquid contents of the vial, re-sealed the cap, and swirled the concoction together with a practiced hand. Razorwing was satisfied with the results when the liquid became a deep blueish-purple.

Turning to the other black-clad hero in the room, he said "Is there anything about a time the shipment needs to be picked up?"

She skimmed through the papers and the contents of the papers in the case before setting them down,

"Nope,"

Probably a set up, these guys should of brought more guards and taken the guy with them at gunpoint to make sure they wouldn't just get killed on arrival to the location.

She started to reach into the guys pockets until she found an iphone and started to skim through the contacts list,

"Wow, you know a lot of Russian guys, been pushing for the Russian mafia on the side."

The guy just glared at her as she sighed and started to dial the police, they picked up and her voice rose to the standard nasual of her street voice,

"Umm, hello, police, I think I saw some guys with guns on the boardwalk, they had another guy I think he was in hand cuffs and they were headed over to this wear house at,"

She reached down at the mapquest starting point thing and read the address to the cops before saying that she had to go and hanging up. Looking around she started to grab any fallen guns and unloading them,

"They said they'll be here as soon as they could, which around this area, twenty minutes or so. I got some bags if you want a sample, but best powder one or two of them and leave the rest for evidence."

Not bad, Razorwing thought to himself. It wasn't the route he would have taken, but it'd be just as effective. "You hear that, dirt bag? Cops are coming, and when they bag your cell phone they'll know who you've been talking to," he commented on the thugs apparent contact with the Russian crime syndicate. "When that happens, they'll more than likely cut you a deal, which a spineless punk like you will jump at."

Razorwing continued to threaten the bound thug. "Everyone will know you were working for both sides, and everyone will know that you sold them out to keep your sorry ass out of lockup..." he let his words hang in the air for a moment. "I suggest you do what I said and get the hell out of the city before your 'friends' find you."

Looking around she started to grab any fallen guns and unloaded them. "They said they'll be here as soon as they could, which around this area, twenty minutes or so. I got some bags if you want a sample, but best powder one or two of them and leave the rest for evidence."

And she came prepared. Not bad at all. He shook his head at the offer. He reached into his utility belt and pulled out a small evidence bag of his own and took another sample of the drugs. He would run an analysis on them later.

"Well, no need to dottle, no time limit, but I doubt they'll wait all night."

Walking past him she reached over and undid the deadbolt on the door and for the first time tonight opened it before walking through. She didn't really wait for the other person to come, she knew he'd follow her, she did still after all have the directions.

Razorwing waited to speak to his companion until they were well outside the building and close enough to one another where any eavesdroppers wouldn't pick up on their conversation.

"I didn't notice you inside the building when I showed up. That's impressive." He didn't want to appear too eager to speak to his companion, though his curiosity was getting the best of him. "You have a name?" he asked before offering his own.

She took a moment to reply since she was trying to figure out the directions on the map, not that it showed. Her full cloth mask covered any expression of confusion or frustration,

"Silhouette is what I go by. You've probably never heard of me and probably never will after this. Heard of you though, you've been out of the public eye for a while Razorwing. Not that you ever seemed the type to linger in any sort of spot light."

Yeah, she's good, he thought to himself. Not many people have heard of me, let alone have my MO down. He crossed his arms and stood silently while Silhouette examined the map, waiting patiently. He could have offered to help, reading a map being one of the most basic skills he learned under Ronin's tutelage, but he decided against it.

Taking the opportunity to slink back into the warehouse while Silhouette was distracted, he found the briefcase filled with money and took two stacks of the drug money, stashing them in compartments in his utility belt. He needed to fund his war on crime somehow, and without Dr. Archeville footing the bill anymore, he had to resume his old methods. Utilizing his ninja speed and quickness, he was in and out of the warehouse in seconds.

Looking at the map she let out a sigh and held it back for him to take,

"Alright, I'm stumped. Don't know the area well enough for this sort of thing plus it's not like we're driving."

She looked back at him as he moved towards the spot with a slight eyebrow raised,

"Unless you have a car hidden in that belt next to the drug money."

She's really damn good! Razorwing mused to himself. Although her words didn't seem accusatory, he couldn't be sure where she was coming from with her comment. It didn't matter to him unless she made a move, though, so he let it be.

"No, but I have a motorcycle parked at the other end of the warehouse, smart ass," he replied to Silhouette. He took the offered map and understood the directions easily.

"Got it," he said over his shoulder as he stalked through the shadows towards the Razorcycle. "You coming?"

She smirked quietly,

"Darn right I am, four miles is a long way to walk."

She quickened her pace to catch up to his and followed him down the side of the warehouse. Seeing the bike set aside in the shadows she looked over,

"Nice bike, looks like a custom job too. Sort of like Midnight's, cept this is much more modern."
