He lusted for power…unlimited power, and spent years travelling the world in search of any scrap of parchment that would help him achieve his goals. After a time, he felt that he had achieved enough power to help his people. Upon returning to the clan, he found it decimated; years of civil war and natural disaster had taken their toll. Eventually, he was the only one left standing. He had become timeless in his power, and had nothing left but what burned in his dark heart. He latched onto his lust as a last refuge. He looked up from the darkness of his lair towards the surface world, knowing that one day he would reclaim what his clan had fought for millennia to achieve.
