Eliminating the running jump

I could have swon it was a feat or a power feat somewhere. It basically says up don't need to run before you long jump. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Well depending on what kinda strength score you have you can achieve the same basic effect with an acrobatics check

5' for every point your check exceeds 15. though not as effective if you are a high strength character.

I think with how cheap it is to get leaping to jump just silly distances they didn't bother with a feat like this. D&D had one IIRC but D&D had feats for all kinds of useless stuff.

I object to the concept is a staning long jump being useless! I once used a maneuver that let you do it as a swift action to vault a pool of acid and kill two hobgoblins in one round!

An Acrobat check lets you increase your jumping distance by 1 foot for every point you get over DC15. 5 feet for every point over would be insane.

Yeah. I believe that this thread has got entirely too silly.

Slapping an extra point into Leaping will pretty much accomplish what you want.
