Jack stared at Elena for a long moment, a silent communication passing between them that had nothing to do with telepathy. "Her primary mansion's in the West End. If you hear about something happening there...well, it's probably me." He smiled at her, his eyes sad. "Goodbye, Elena." He'd felt the sun set as she woke, making this the perfect time for him He let her see him disappear this time, his body sliding away into mist on the wind before vanishing entirely as he flew up towards the surface. It was time to move.

Dark Star waited patiently at the higher points of the Lair. He wasn't exactly comfortable with tracking Jack like this, without telling him. However, Scarab had agreed that it was for the best. When Jack had entered her room, he had made sure to study every part of the Lair intently, EXCEPT that room. They were entitled to their privacy of course. So, cloaked by his energies, he waited and tracked the insubstantial Avenger up and out. He might not be entirely comfortable with this sneaking bit, but he wasn't going to let the man down. He assumed Scarab would be keeping tabs and helping to direct if things got a little sticky.
