If you have a character that made an IC post in October or November you should have gotten a PM detailing your award. If I have made any mistakes, send me a PM and we'll get it straightened out. When you are ready to spend your PPs, post in the Character Edits thread, and I will make the adjustments over the next week. _________________________ The guidelines for PP awards are in the Game Rules thread. Here they are: POWER POINT AWARDS Participation Awards: 1-3 PPs per month Characters will receive between 1 and 3 PPs monthly based on their level of participation in the forum. Any character who "plays" during the month will receive 1 PP. Characters who are actively involved in threads, campaigns, and stories (more than 15 IC posts with that character per month) will receive 2 PPs, and characters who are extremely involved in threads, campaigns, and stories (more than 25 IC posts with that character per month) will receive 3 PPs as a participation award. Note: Spamming the IC threads, making little short posts, and carrying on conversations one line at a time in order to boost your post count will not earn you PPs; it will just make others not want to play with you anymore. Campaign Awards: 0-2 PPs per month GMs/Refs who run short, structured "missions" for the heroes and villains will award PPs to their players' characters at "chapter" intervals. A "chapter" should generally be substantial enough to take at least 2 weeks of real time to complete. Characters will receive 1 PP per chapter, and GMs may award a bonus PP to the characters of players who have played exceptionally well, been exceptionally proactive in the campaign, or who have completed long-term personal or story goals. Characters may not receive more than 3 PPs per month worth of Campaign Awards. Contribution Awards: 0-1 PP per month Refs (and the Admin) who feel that a player is making a significant contribution to the site may give that player a bonus PP to apply to either of his or her characters. *** PL Caps: All characters will start at PL 6 or PL 10. As soon as players gain their first PP, their PL advances by 1. From then on, characters' PLs will advance according to the following charts: A PL 10 character's advancement would look like this: PPs earned Total PPs PL 1-15 151-165 11 16-30 166-180 12 31-45 181-195 13 46-60 196-210 14 And a PL 6 character's advancement would look like this: PPs earned Total PPs PL 1-15 91-105 7 16-30 106-120 8 31-45 121-135 9 46-60 135-150 10 Link to comment
